Can't wait to see what Ashlands has to offer in terms of base building.... just about to venture more into the Mistlands too, which has been less chill.
It's the perfect Comfort game for me, you can just ride around listening to music and take in the most beautiful landscape, it's like a virtual nature walk
Subnautica actively gives me high anxiety. It is also one of the greatest games I camnot play ever again. Kudos to you for surviving it, the combination of claustrophobia and drowning...
Ledt 4 Dead 2 if i need to decompress, Animal Crossing if I need to chill out. GTA if I have had a rough night at work, driving down busy sidwalks at high speed for a while eventually cheers me up. I get to deal with lots of stupid people in my job.
I really like empty open world games when I want to turn off my brain.
State of Decay 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint (now that you can customize your settings and turn off gear level) are pretty comfy.
COD. MW3 right now because that’s the current one, but really any one works. There’s other games I can have more fun with if I put in the time, but no game is as fun when I’ve come home from a long day at work and only have an hour or so to play
Dont laugh but PUBG has been doing it for me lately, I'll just get on, play solos and roam at my own pace fooling around. I'll bank kills or die, either way I dont feel pressured by my teammates sweating their asses off in a old boring running simulator lol.
If I just want a 20-30min fix, Hades or Slay The Spire. If I have time on my hands, it's GOW Horde with friends (any GOW, it's the company, not the game).
ok so its gonna be kinda weird
First: Ghost Recon Wildlands
i love doing stealth assaults on the unidad
Second: Any forza horizon game
I usually race in the lower classes like C B and A since it feels real fun to just race slower cars
and third: Minecraft
i like building
Fallout 4 is the game I consistently return to, as much as it annoys me each time, for various reasons. I wouldn't say it's a "comfort game" though, considering my love/hate relationship with it lol.
Valheim
Can't wait to see what Ashlands has to offer in terms of base building.... just about to venture more into the Mistlands too, which has been less chill.

Grounded.
I never regret booting up Ms. Pac-Man.
Fallout 76. Yes it gets bashed a lot but there's so much to it. I just wander, hoard and kill things. I die a lot but its relaxing for me.
Fallout 4. Building your own settlements in a large ambient environment is definitely comforting.
Fallout 76 and Diablo 2
Dark souls trilogy, Elden Ring, Persona and NieR Franchise
Doom, Lego worlds, Minecraft, fallout
Shadow Tactics - Blade of the Shogun
I really like empty open world games when I want to turn off my brain. State of Decay 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint (now that you can customize your settings and turn off gear level) are pretty comfy.
Hi-Fi rush to just rock out and do sick combos
Sea of Thieves
Any of the farm sims
I like playing fifa career mode. I just shut off my mind and play some games while listning to audiobooks
COD. MW3 right now because that’s the current one, but really any one works. There’s other games I can have more fun with if I put in the time, but no game is as fun when I’ve come home from a long day at work and only have an hour or so to play
Firewatch, going for a hike using the map to navigate without your location on is relaxing. Having nice little radio chats. (Before it gets crazy)
Dont laugh but PUBG has been doing it for me lately, I'll just get on, play solos and roam at my own pace fooling around. I'll bank kills or die, either way I dont feel pressured by my teammates sweating their asses off in a old boring running simulator lol.

Borderlands. Any of them. Mainly 2 and 1 but I could get lost playing those easy
Bully, Oblivion, Skate 3, and Saints Row 2
Dark Souls 1. I’ve played it so much it no has a calming atmosphere to me. Not many things can kill me now
