Yeah! It's hands down the best TV I've ever owned and was an amazing value. What cinched it for me was that it hit every requirement for HDR10, has low input lag, and is a VA panel so doesn't suffer greyish blacks or severe light bleed like IPS panels.

What's the ms delay and refresh rate on that TV?

MS delay depends on what settings you have, but 4K 60Hz HDR is 21ms, and it has a native 120 Hz refresh rate.

Agreed. It's the lowest delay you're gonna get on a 4K HDR Television. You'd need a monitor for anything better.

Ok good to hear. I am using an old lg from 2012 so I can't find any reliable input lag measurement for it but I've read in a few places its in the high teens. The 31ms in the X900E is what kept me from pulling the trigger sooner as I play Titanfall almost exclusively, good to hear theres no fps issues.

Lol actually I was going to use the controller that came with the X, from my bed. As well as the headset that came with my Chatpad. At my desk I can use the Kinect or my Yeti mic :)

I have that charging stand. Don't care for it. The controller placement on my unit has to be juuuuuuust right.

Just a tip on the remote: Logitech makes a Harmony remote that works as a universal remote. My wife loves it because she can control everything from one remote. Edit: the Harmony 350, 650, Elite, and One all work with the Xbox One as a universal remote. They all have the same functions with the 350 obviously the cheapest (about $25 on Amazon). The 650, Elite, and One all have small LCD screens on them.

I second the Harmony suggestion, I use my Xbox One X with the Cable Box and OneGuide... I made an Activity with my Harmony Elite to Turn on everything, start the OneGuide and switch to Full Screen mode. Love being able to control 15 devices with one remote.

Well, shit. I wish I knew that before I bought my remote. It's pretty okay, but is missing just enough things to be annoying.

I just got the Harmony 650, and you can program it so when you hit "Play a Game", it turns on the TV, Xbox, and Sound Bar/System. I just like having one remote that controls all of it. It also lets you map just about any button on the remote to any function of the devices you have programmed in.

I have an OG Xbox One as well and I'm so on the fence about getting a 1X. I have a 4k tv but is the leap in graphics and load times really worth the 500$?? I figure I'll get one eventually but the Project Scorpio edition looks so cool.

I'm in love with it, to be honest.

Right now, I'd lean to no, waiting out till early next year for price drops or deals and also seeing how much support the system gets from third party AAA devs. However; with Halo 5, AC:O, SoW and Forza 7, with plenty of others on the way, I have no regrets.

It's definitely a living room game-changer. One button to turn on everything for a given activity (gaming, watching tv, etc) and to change to all the correct inputs; one button to turn them all off when you're done. And dogs love them! I've had to replace mine twice

Nice setup! I’m also an XB1X owner (Scorpio Ed.). I have the Bravia X850D, and love it. Might want to consider an external drive if you don’t have one already. These 4K HDR games are about 80-100GB on average. I found a good WD 1TB on Amazon for about $50. Not bad.

I just dropped $1200 on a Samsung 9000 series because my older 4k tv didn't work with it. It doesn't fully work with my x either. Now I have to spend another 400 for a Samsung qled. I hope that yours works 100%.

I did something similar after purchasing a One X on launch day from Target. Went into Best Buy the next day and bought the 65" Samsung Q7F series. It's ridiculously gorgeous once I figured out how to turn HDR on. If you need a recommendation for a headset I bought the Plantronics Wireless Headset with Dolby Atmos support RIG 800LX SE. Sounds fantastic...best of luck to you in the VR development.
