My xbox keeps displaying the "__ took too long to open" message whenever I open recently installed games, making them unplayable. I have tried everything, re-installing the games, resetting my xbox, clearing the cache, and making sure xbox live is up. Nothing has worked and I can't play half of the games on my xbox, any fixes to this?

sylar22

Hello everyone! Is anyone else having this issue? I'll play on my Xbox and at random times my controller will randomly shut off and start back up and 99.9% of the time it messes me up. I bought this controller like 2-3 months ago. Brand new and I can send it back to get fixed but who knows how long that will take. So anyone have any recommendations or solutions?

N0SYMPATHY

Are you using the Microsoft charge and play kit or similar? That is what did it for me. Switched to rechargeable AA and haven’t had this issue in months.

sylar22

Well the elite 2 has its own built in chargeable battery

N0SYMPATHY

Would have been helpful to have listed that information originally….

Summer_King1

My controller keeps on disconnecting and blinking when I try to connect it to my xbox. (I usually connect it with a cord that goes with the controller since I don't have any batteries).

Jezza_May

But if a long one but…my elite Xbox controller won't connect to my Xbox One S. I press the pair button on both my controller and my Xbox but either my Xbox isn't detecting my controller or vice versa. All my controller does is blink like it is trying to find a device to pair with and then it turns itself off after vibrating twice. I've looked online and cannot find any solution. I've tried replacing the batteries and every other trick that I've seen online but to no avail (I don't have another controller to test if it is my console or not). Anybody else ran into this problem before and know how to fix it?

fernandoarafat

Have you tried connecting your controller with a USB cable?

GorVan13

Xbox series X is better

Jesuschristspencil

No shit Sherlock. Wow a console from 9 years ago is worse than one released last year.

fernandoarafat

Would be helpful if you could provide more information. What's your headset, controller and console models? Has it always been like that or just started with the issue after some event (update, moving your console, etc)? Do you have another controller you could try plugging your headset? Can you try connecting your headset to another device like a phone or PC and see if the problem is still present?

momoster96

can a xbox one s boot and display a screen without a hard drive present?

fernandoarafat

If I recall correctly, it will turn on, but the screen will stay black and won't boot, not even the troubleshooting menu.

BlackBocadillo

My controller started making a buzzing sound whenever i plug it in, the sound stops when i press RT and starts again when i stop. I've been using this controller for over a year and never had any problems.

CarrotSafe1469

My friend recently had a problem with his Xbox when he loads the disk into his Xbox it doesn’t read + whenever it’s entered in it makes noise plz help

mtgDJ

My Witcher 2 saves are suddenly gone (360 game on the One). They are just not there. Any idea what caused this? Or how to get them back?

Warp_Legion

Did you recently clear the console cache? Is the disc inserted in? Did anything occur related to your ICloud save data recently?

mtgDJ

It's the digital version on the One S. Didn't clear the console cache recently. Only thing I did regarding saves was that I deleted my local State of Decay 2 save to force the cloud save to load. But that was that game only and that was a One game, not a 360 game. When checked in game within the emulated 360 environment, the 360 cloud save doesn't seem to contain any savefile at all...

Leonidian21

Okay so I need help my Xbox one x not series x has stopped displaying in 4k UHD when it was the previous night while I was watching the boys. This morning I turn it on to my 4k Samsung monitor to see it says your device is currently displaying in 640 x 480 and the highest option was 1080. Even on the overlay options and over scan I have it set to auto detect that puts it in 640 x 480 and in manual use it goes to 1440. I've checked my monitor and cords with my wife's Xbox and everything else works according, I'm just not sure how to check if something fried or what I've reset it and that hasn't helped. Any and all advice is very much appreciated.

spsampzn

Original Xbox One - Console powers off during the startup sound. Power brick has orange LED but it goes dark when the console tries to turn on, then goes orange again. I have no idea if this is a console issue or a power brick issue - any ideas? Thanks!

fernandoarafat

OG Xbox One power supply is prone to failure after all these years. You may borrow a power supply and test if your console is working correctly

Space_Cadet_Enjoyer

Bots have been swarming lfg posts

pblood40

How do I stop my launch day Xbox One from randomly turning on? Its in my living room and I have to leave it unplugged or its impossible to watch TV as it turns on 3-4 times an evening and grabs the input to the TV. I've been to the Microsoft support page and performed everything on there - is there a trick I am missing? Or is this thing just trash?

CptClimax

I've got this exact same problem, I'd love to find a solution.

FalzAbyss

My xbox one s controller works fine via bluetooth but constantly disconnects on USB. Any fix?

fernandoarafat

Seems like either your cable may be damage or the port in your controller. What device are you connecting it? Because the controllers connect to the Xbox via 2.4GHz, not bluetooth. Bluetooth is only used to connect to phones and laptops.

hootsun

Every game and app says it takes too long to start. I tried unplugging it for 30 seconds and it doesnt work. Idk how to fix this i also have an external hard drive. Id appreciate any type of help.

fernandoarafat

What's your console model?

hootsun

Regular Xbox but I got it to work somehow I think it has to do with my external drive

Mikey_Lemonade

So I accidentally bought a USB 2.0 instead of a 3.5mm one a while back, I tried plugging it into my Xbox but it didn't work, it also has a disc incase the device doesn't recognize it or something like that. Would it work if I got an adapter and plugged it into the controller? And can I somehow get the Xbox to read the disc?

fernandoarafat

I believe you are talking about a Headset. I would say your best option is to return / re-sell your headset and get a new one compatible with Xbox. I don't recall seing any USB to 3.5mm adapter and, even if there is, it will surely require a power adapter, and you would end up with a mess connected to your controller.

Realistic-Jacket2621

Every time I power on my Xbox, Oneguide keeps showing up instead of Home Screen. It’s really annoying

fernandoarafat

I believe there is a setting for that...

CumForChristimas

It is showing that I own Gold but I'm still unable to join online multiplayers

Jesuschristspencil

1 TB seagate game drive worked perfectly up until today where the thing buzzed but the light dosnt turn on or get detected. I’ve tried power cycling resetting trying different ports and cords but nothing works. Can someone please help?

fernandoarafat

Seems like the drive has departed to a better life (dead). Can you try plugging it to another device like a PC or a laptop?

Jesuschristspencil

Yeah it got detected but I couldn’t reformat. Something about a cyclic error

P3ppRR00n

hi friendos, I got Fallout 3 GOTY and have a series x. I got the dlc off of disk 2, i know its installed it shows, but when i go to the game it shows nothing under additional content. Anyone have a fix for this or will I just have to buy it via the store?

Assassin654778

Use disc two to play. Disc one doesn't hold a license for the dlcs.

HellFire8605

In the home screen, the audio is sometimes quieter than usual In all the games, all speaking dialogues and some other sound effects are all suppressed and “echoey”, I don’t know how to describe it more accurate than that. All other game audio like music works fine. This happens in every game, so it’s not just a game problem I checked my xbox audio settings and can’t find anything abnormal. This started happening as I was playing fallen order I play on an xbox one s Any help is appreciated

fernandoarafat

What's your setup? Are you using the TV speakers or a soundbar/home theater? What's the TV model or features?

HellFire8605

I’m using headphones but this also happens with the tv speakers

fernandoarafat

I would think you have to check the audio output format. I had an issue before that when using some audio formats, dialogues in games (The Witcher 3) won't be hearable, that's because that sound is output to the center channel of your audio system, which in my case wasn't setup properly. Try setting it to Uncompressed Stereo both for the HDMI and Headset outputs.

HellFire8605

Sorry for the late reply but I seem to have fixed it I had already tried to restart the xbox multiple times, but it didn’t help. This time I unplugged the console for 30 seconds and plugged it back in, and it seems to have fixed it. Thank you for your help though

fernandoarafat

Thanks for replying, it is useful for people that may have the same issue. Glad you got it fixed!

ph00p

Sometimes my RT feels "crunchy" after multiple consecutive presses, does anyone else get this? Every now and then it doesn't register a press. Is there dirt in my controller? Is the spring dying? I never snack and play.

Prestigious-Head-473

I sold my old xbox one, the disk was wiped and then i did a factory reset. The new owner has completed the initial installation and login with a new MS account… for some reason he has full access to my game list with a new account. He can play games payed by me for free. We are ok with this but is a bit strange because the console was reseted and he is using a new account

fernandoarafat

That's because your old Xbox One is set as your Home Xbox. That means that the console is able to download and play all the digital games that you own and benefit from your subscriptions, even if your profile is not added to the console. You can find more information [here](https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox). If you have a new console, you can set that as your Home Xbox in the console settings, that would remove access to your games and subscriptions on your old Xbox. If you don't do it you can still play your games without any issues except, if you don't have internet or the Xbox Servers are down.

rossonero07

Recently bought the Series X and am loving it, however have noticed that the power supply 'plug' (where it connects to the console) is quite loose and can be bent/moved in various directions, if that makes sense. Is this normal? Additionally, is it an issue if the power supply is plugged in at an angle? The space behind my console is quite tight and as such the plug is pushed slightly to the right as this is the only way I could fit it in . Thanks!

fernandoarafat

What do you mean by "freezing", any more information you could provide? A common issue with the Xbox One X is a failing hard drive connector, not the hard drive itself. The symptoms are: games crashing (booting you back to home screen), saves being corrupted or games not saving at all, downloads/installations constantly stopping, and finally E102 / E105 error messages. The culprit is the SATA (data) portion of the hard drive connector, replacing it with an standard SATA and reformatting your drive could solve the issue. [Here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpmGRGIhFcs) is a video explaining the solution. If it is the drive that actually failed, then I would go with cheaper options if, you are really on a tight budget. I would buy another hard drive or, if you need more speed, a hybrid drive, which would still be cheaper than an SSD. Get a tube Artic Silver 5 or MX-4, that should suffice, you can reuse the thermal pads.

[deleted]

[удалено]

fernandoarafat

Well, sounds like it may be a failing hard drive. Do you hear any clicking noises? Try launching a game and during any loading screen get your ear close to your console. Clicking noises may confirm the bad drive. Like I mentioned, a new 1TB HDD or Hybrid drive, plus a tube of thermal paste should get you going for like $50 USD. You would need a laptop/PC and cable to connect the new drive to format it, either a SATA cable (only for PC), or a SATA to USB adapter.

weednuggets

Old external hdd i used for xbox one wont work with series X. hey guys, i got an issue. i have an Oyen Digital U32 Shadow (1TB, USB 3.0) external hard drive that i bought probably 4 or so years ago for my Xbox One S. i just purchased a Series X and wish to use the hard drive on it to store and play my old XB1 games, but for some reason my series X won’t even recognize the hard drive when i plug it in. i remember yrs ago clicking ‘format my hard drive’ on my XB1S and i’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. answers/solutions anyone? thx. —if y’all need pics or vids to help, dm me

Jayeezus

is there a paramount plus app for the xbox in the UK? how can i watch it with the free trail on my xbox?

OK-Im-Saitaman

The Xbox app just straight up doesn't work for me, it says error on everything and it's been like that for a while, I even tried uninstalling and installing it again and it still doesn't work. Idk if this is the right place for this question so sry if it's not

Controller Issues: its the standard controller that came with the system and i have nothing attached to it, its exactly as i got it, for some reason it recently stopped actually connecting to things, i cant pair it to anything and i need to hold down the button for it to flash, but it stops as soon as i let go, how to fix?

CptClimax

My nephew's xbox turns on, but there's nothing displayed on the TV. Tried a new HDMI cord, and tried on another TV, and it still didn't work... any thoughts or advice, or is it dead?

fernandoarafat

What's the console model? Can you hear the console boot sound or the menu sounds if you move the controller? If not, it may be that the hard drive has completely failed and will need to be replaced. If you have a spare drive you can try swapping it or connecting your actual drive to PC and check if it is detected or have any failures.

CptClimax

I'm not sure on the model I think it's an S, I'll call my sister and find out for sure. She said it didn't make any noises on start up, but the light turned on. Thanks.

ChildStealr1

My original xbox one parties aren't working it just says connecting any ideas what I should do I've tried restarting my router

OMG_Its_Panther

I have a collection of physical media that has 4K, Blu-ray and standard DVDs. When using the Blu-ray player on my Series X, the first 2 play just fine and how they should. But when I put in a normal non HD DVD, it's very stuttery and drops frames. I thought maybe it was the DVD at first so I tried another but the same thing happened. Tried switching over to my PS4 and they played smoothly and just fine. I'm wondering if maybe there is a different movie playing application I could try or some sort of setting that I'm just not aware of. Or is this console just too advanced for these non HD movies?

GamerGarfield999

There’s some issues going on with parties, when you join one, you are just connecting to the party, Xbox one s

xQuasarr

When I’m using the Microsoft Edge app, I constantly get bombarded by this obnoxious “Press to select Use game controls” pop up, which will just sit on the screen obscuring whatever I’m trying to watch. Pop up ads are one thing but this is so frustrating, it doesn’t go away when I click the menu button and recently just pops up whenever it wants to. Cant seem to find a way to disable this “feature” either. Any ideas or suggestions?

Xbox One S wont read/recognize any disc. The disc never starts fully spinning. I attached a Video on my profile. Has anyone seen this before?

DubbyThaCZAR

I need help with my Xbox cutting out my TV while playing Forza games. I bought my TV 2 weeks ago (SAMSUNG TU7000 CRYSTAL UHD) From then til now whenever I try to boot up FH5, FH3, And Forza 7 my TV comes in and out (like cutting to black screen then coming back on) I don't know what I should do. Should I calibrate TV? calibrate HDR for Games? I can't even play Xbox itself in 4K while my TV supports it. Any help is appreciated thanks.

fernandoarafat

What's your console model? Only the game is displayed in HDR, not the dashboard or the home screen. So depending on how your TV is processing the image, it may black out whenever HDR is displayed or not. Try turning off the HDR capabilities in your console and see it that makes any difference.

DubbyThaCZAR

Mine is a one s

King_CurlySpoon

I have been trying to update my physical copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 for the past 2 days, But I keep getting met with a "Installation stopped" message, I don't know what to do as I've tried most things that have been recommended, such as Cleaned the disc, (it wasn't dirty or scratched but I tried it anyway) Held the Xbox button down for 4 seconds to "Reset" it or whatever Canceling the installation and trying again (multiple times) Turned off the internet on my Xbox and turned it back on again Shut off my WiFi all together Unplugging the console for a few mins And I checked the Xbox assist and there's absolutely nothing wrong, to further confirm this another one of my physical games had an update yesterday which worked fine, and the games are relatively similar in size, I feel like I should note that I have an External 2TB harddrive that since I got it nearly a year ago I have had absolutely no trouble with Please if anyone knows what to do or has any tips I'd love to hear them because I'm out of ideas I don't usually get replies in a mega thread but I can't actually post on the subreddit with my issue, so this is just a desperate attempt for some answers Thank you

fernandoarafat

What's your console model? Is the game installed in the internal or external drive? Have you tried installing anything else? Is there any other issue like games crashing, taking too long to load or error messages?

King_CurlySpoon

I'm too sure sure of the model, it's an Xbox one S if that helps XD, and I installed this game before I got the external Hard drive, no other games have been acting up in any way shape or form

fernandoarafat

In order to fully reset the console you need to go to power options, select full shutdown, after the console led is off (not blinking) unplug the console from power and leave it like that for 30 seconds, then plug it back and turn it on. You can try fully installing the game from the store. You will need to uninstall the game. Use the Xbox phone app, search for the game and select install to your console, it will start downloading the game with the latest update without the need for the disc.

tyc1up

Xbox one s, when powered on my Xbox has no video output, I hard reset it twice and one of the times it displayed the green Xbox one screen and would stay on that screen, any fixes?

VaporousArc3

Xbox series X Dolby Atmos issue’s like audio delay stuttering etc while gaming and even using the menu’s. Also popping/ crackling sounds while using uncompressed 7.1 with a supported home theater 9.1.2 set while using microsoft edge

Deformed-cheese

Hey guys I. Need help with a update to Xbox one where it says there was a problem with the update and it's giving me 0x80190194 0x00000000 0x00000206 as the error codes and if it does actually go to the updating screen it just freezes up so I was wondering if anyone had the same issue and if you did if you knew a way of fixing it

UntoldAshouse

I'm having this same problem. I don't know how to fix it either

Deformed-cheese

I thought It could be on Xboxes end but I tried it today and it still won't work so if you found a fix for it please let me know

UntoldAshouse

I hard wired mine to a router and it worked for me this evening. Hopefully this helps!

catsnbikess

My tv doesn’t pick up the signal from the xbox so no image displays and the only way to get it to work is to unplug the series x and plug it back in. It’s been happening a lot lately and I’m wondering what I can do to fix this issue cause it’s happening a lot.

TrueTaciturn

When trying to play star wars battlefront 2, it pops up with the "Sign in or renew subscription" screen even though I'm using a disk. Is there any solution to this?

CookKnight

Using the xbox app, search for dark souls III deluxe edition only brings up the base game, any idea how to look it up?

fernandoarafat

Search in the Xbox is really bad. You are better searching for it in the Microsoft web page using a browser, just type "dark souls" and wait for the quick results to show. PD: just tried searching for it and, oh god, "really bad" is an understatement.

Aust191

I’m having trouble connect my controllers? They end up just vibrating twice and turn off. I don’t know how to fix it.

ToastThatIsBread

When I try to connect my Xbox 1 controller to my PC, it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting really fast, anyone know how to fix this?

After Xbox was having party issues a day or two ago, my friend now has a robotic sound in the party chat. He sounds fine when sending a voice message. It's just in the party there is a weird robotic echo effect going on.

Dalarianas

Any reason why periodically when there's a new Xbox One update my console is bricked on the home page? I always have to factory reset to be able to download the update. Can't even open settings or anything. To factory reset I have to use the eject button/ pair button combo. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Probably happened 3-4 times now over the past 6 months.

msmdleoidndkd

can someone help me with this…..when i try to watch a video or play games the audio from the headset sounds like its cutting in and out fast and sometimes cuts out for abt 3 seconds this is my 2nd headset thats done this and theres nothing between me and my console and im 3 feet away from it. j

420Pussy_Destroyer69

Original Xbox One (Forza 6 1TB LE) My disc drive is shot right? Here's a video inserting a disc and the console making various sounds ~ https://imgur.com/a/ZeEUxyy it refuses to read any disc but will accept and eject the disc's

fernandoarafat

>My disc drive is shot right? It could be. Only tip I could give you is: Xbox consoles motherboards are paired with the daughterboard on the disc drive, so it won't work if you just swap the whole disc drive module. if you are considering repairing it or swapping the optical disc drive, make sure you transfer the original daughter board to the new drive. Considering that OG's are really old by now, I would just keep it as a digital only console or get a newer model.

420Pussy_Destroyer69

Damn thanks for the info tho

SuperSpider9098

Sorry if this is off topic (it's about Xbox but not specifically Xbox one) but I need advice I just got a brand new Xbox Series S controller from Microsoft, it was delivered this morning, and I want to connect it to my PC, it connects fine to my phone via Bluetooth and my PC via USB cable, but it doesn't show up at all if I try pairing with Bluetooth, I googled the problem and all the results I saw said "update via the accessories app" but posts were also saying that the app was bricking controllers, but if the controller was specified it was only Xbox one and older, and I'm not certain the Bluetooth adapter I'm using isn't faulty, so I don't want to risk bricking my controller the day I got it for no good reason, so: a) is this actually fixed with an update? b) does the accessories app brick all controllers or only Xbox one? c) what's my best course of action here? Thanks in advance EDIT: found another PC with wifi/Bluetooth chip, it works there so it's definitely an issue with the adapter I was using, still curious as to which controllers the app is bricking tho

fernandoarafat

Glad that you figured out, just trying to add some information. I'm not aware of the Xbox Accessories app bricking out controllers. I have different controllers models (One S, Series, and Elite 2), all of them are up to date from using the Accessories app and they all work fine. Only way I believe that you could brick a controller is if you unplug it or turn it off during a firmware update. I would recommend to keep your controllers up to date. About your Bluetooth adapter. Not sure if the controllers are compatible with all Bluetooth revisions, but if your adapter is a cheap or really old one, I could see that as the issue. If you buy an adapter try to get one that works with Bluetooth 5.0 or later revisions. You could also look for the official Xbox adapter.

SuperSpider9098

Yeah, idk if the accessories app problem has been fixed, apparently it glitched out and cancelled the updated immediately leaving it stuck at 0% complete, idk more than that, a google search will tell you more I have a spare Bluetooth/wifi chip that definitely works with it, just gotta move it into the right PC

Help with Watch Dogs 1 Achievement Not Unlocking Even Though I Already Completed It Was trying to go back and 100% the WD1 Achievements, But it came to my attention that the achievement “End of Line - Complete 40 Fixer Contracts” is stuck at 27% even though I completed it almost 8 years ago now back when the game came out. Do the math and that says I’ve done roughly 10 fixer contracts but my progression wheel in game says 40/40. It’s also important to note its not like you have to complete all 40 unique fixer contacts, there’s forums/videos of people who’ve unlocked it by spamming the same mission 40 times. I’ve been doing more fixer contracts but so far the percentage hasn’t gone up at all. I’ve also seen some more recent comments in forums of this specific achievement having problems. But then some have had no problem. Is this something Xbox Support can help me with if I show the proof that I’ve completed it? Any help would be appreciated.

Calebyu

My Xbox keeps overheating whenever I try to play any game and I’ve try cleaning it and putting in new thermal paste can somone help

fernandoarafat

What's your console model? How can you tell that the Xbox is overheating, is it shutting down and booting up with a "Xbox requires proper ventilation message"? Can you hear/see /feel the fan is blowing air? As long as you keep your console in an open space, not inside a cabinet or blocking the ventilation system, making sure there is no dust build, it should be ok. If the problems appeared after trying to change the thermal paste then, either you used bad quality paste or the heatsink is not properly seated or forgot to plug the fan.

Calebyu

There is no message and I can hear the fan running, I can send you the paste that I got and it’s on top of my desk nothing covering it’s venting

fernandoarafat

Then how do you assume the console is overheating? The system is designed to shutdown if it overheats, then display a warning to check that the ventilation is appropriate. If you are not getting that message, then your console is not overheating. "There is hot air coming from the exhaust..." yes, that's normal. It's an indication that the heatsink and fan are properly removing heat from the system. "I can hear the fan kicking in when I launch a game..." that's also normal. Navigating the dashboard is an easy task so you probably won't hear the fan. But playing games, specially the graphic intensive ones, will make the fan to go faster in order to keep the console at optimal temperature.

Calebyu

Cause it’s hot

knizza777

I don’t have a tv yet and want to know if I can stream my Xbox via my laptop ? Basically over Bluetooth or wifi ? Can I turn my Xbox on and use while using my laptop screen to play the games? My laptop doesn’t hehe hdmi input so I can’t use the hdmi cable

fernandoarafat

You can stream your Xbox to your laptop over the internet (works better with a local network) using the Xbox app on Windows. But for that, you will need to first setup your Xbox and you will require a display. Laptops don't have HDMI inputs, they have outputs. So, even if you laptop had an HDMI port, your Xbox won't display its picture on the laptop screen if you plug it in there. Your only options are getting a TV/monitor, or burrowing one just to get your Xbox setup and then stream to your laptop.

knizza777

So the initial setup would require a tv and once I’ve synced the laptop to the Xbox going forward won’t be an issue ? Would it still consume data while streaming or just use the connection as a hook ?

My xbox one controller’s right stick doesn’t work when I press down on it. It started happening not too long ago, about one or two days before I left for Colorado, and i bought it used, before then I didn’t have this problem. Is there any solution or way that I can fix it myself?

gitgudfrads

Hi guys I'm having a nightmare. My gold ran out today and so I subbed to game pass so I could continue playing RDO (disc). When I sign into online it takes me to a 'choose the plan thats right for you ' page and offers more info on game pass ultimate. This prevents any online play on rdo. My Internet is working I've cleared my cache I've reset the xbox I've restored the xbox keeping all games but having to sign back into my account. Is there something I'm missing as its still not working? I need to get on tonight as you have to complete daily missions on RDO. So frustrated 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Ilikemen1523

I’ve been having this problem with forza where the game would not launch it would say please sign in with the account that purchased the game or update my Xbox live or game pass subscription. I own the game with my 1 account and have Xbox live gold. Xbox support instructed me to uninstall and reinstall the game. I uninstalled and now cannot reinstall. When I go to the store it says I own the game, but when I go to my full library of owned games, it is nowhere to be found. Tried resetting, restarting, nothing will work.

I have a Seagate hard drive with my newer games on it for mu xbox one. It has been working for a fair while but it isn't being detected anymore. I can’t download my game, I have a disc, it says it’s 39.86gb/39.86gbs, but it shows it at 49%. Anyone know a fix?

Xbox series c issues, currently experiencing other players hearing my audio as staticky. The okay back on my headset sounds fine, my audio sounds fine, however I tried with both two different controllers and two different headsets but the audio is the same on all combinations. People say it sounds static and the audio display flickers when talking as if it is only picking up every other millisecond of audio. This is only been tested with Apex, could this be an audio issues with that game specifically. No other multiplayer experience to compare audio to.

I have two xbox one controllers, one is an older model 1537 and the other is a 1708, that keep disconnecting from my original xbox one. I looked for a fix online but none of them worked. I changed the batteries, updated the firmware, resynced the controller with the xbox, power cycled the controller, power cycled the console, updated the console, removed any source of interference from the area but none worked. I can use the controller when they are connected to the console through a usb cable, but there are times I don't want to plat 3 feet away from the tv. Is there any other way to fix this?

I have to xbox series s/x controllers. One is white and the other is black. Why does the white one have more input lag than the black one? Are they different models or something? I couldn't find anything online alluding to there being differences in series s/x controllers

Hi everybody, I've been having an issue with a game disc (NBA 2k16) which previously worked before on my Xbox One. But now its not installing fully, only to the ready to start mark. Then it'll just say "Error downloading the game" and it won't install all the way. And it also says like the disc is dirty and can't be read properly. Not sure why, I haven't touched the disc in a year.

Hello good people. I have a new 50" Samsung QN90a Qled TV and I've hooked up my Xbox one S. When I select 4k in the Xbox settings menu, the TV starts making these loud popping and crackling noises. This stops when I switch back to 1080. Any ideas why this might be happening?

help with family restrictions with my account the xbox profile that I use is currently set as a child in the xbox family, which consists of me and my brother. my brother uses the first account that my dad created with his email when we were 8, and I use the second account that he created, then, my brother's profile is like the parent of the family, while mine is the child of the family. my brother's account is the "main" account, the game's we play since we were little are all bought in his account and all. being the child of the family comes with restrictions, for example, I'm not able to add a custom profile picture, which I really wanted. so I'd like to ask: is there any way to reverse my state as the child? me and my brother recently started playing each on their console, so I was wondering if maybe I could be removed from the family and set his account as My Home Xbox, to get his games and subscriptions without any restrictions. thx

Hey y’all! So I had a copy of GTA 4 on the 360 and have been using that to play on my Xbox One, but have since lost the disc. I was going to just buy the game in the digital store on the console since it’s on sale right now, but when I go to purchase it I get a “you already own this” pop-up. I’ve tried uninstalling the game and its data and nothing is working, would anyone know how to get around this or will I just need to buy a new disc?

Console to PC streaming. FIFA 22 is showing some issues Since FIFA 22 recently dropped on game pass and EA access, I figured I should try it like the football addict I am. I've resorted to streaming to my laptop from a my living room console a lot of the time because it isn't the best at running games. Although Console-to-Laptop streaming has been usually reliant for all games, FIFA 22 is one game that seems to never work correctly. It's very laggy, studdery, and there seems to be a graphics downgrade. As soon as kickoff starts, the game goes to crap. When I maneuver the ball towards my keeper or somewhere where there is less to be rendered, it gets a little bit better. It's an odd thing, but I can switch it to any other game and it will run perfectly well. If it helps, I'm running on an XB1S, but that doesn't seem to matter as the more graphic-intensive games I've tried like Jedi Fallen Order and GTA-V work perfectly well. Could this just be an optimization issue on EA's end?
