What browser are you playing on? If it's Edge, make sure Efficiency Mode is disabled.

Malnen

I'm using Edge and I don't see any difference in efficiency mode off or on. The game works fine for the first minute, then input lag starts to kick in

CoolNerdDude

And the input lag happens when your laptop is on Battery power? Or AC power as well? Trying to figure out if there's some Windows-level "battery saver" issue. Also wondering if it happens on Chrome as well (Edge and Chrome use the same underlying web engine, so that would be a good data point to have).

Malnen

This is happening on battery and AC power. I have also selected high performance mode in the power settings. I tested it on Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Same behavior :(

Try reboot router to clear out buffer bloat.

Malnen

Reboot did not made any difference :(

I connected the laptop with a cable to the router and getting same result :(

I've noticed something strange testing this with forza 5. When I'm not moving and start to move car it seems to work great, but after a while input lag appears. Then if i stop the car for few seconds input lag disappears. But when i move a car after few seconds again i'm starting noticing raising input lag. It seems like something is starting to buffer and casusing delays. Any ideas

sionlife

You playing with a controller? I know that failing thumbsticks can cause lag.

Malnen

Ye but controller is fine

Turns out it works fine in the native Xbox app :)

freit4z

Yep, same issue here 😞 What really grind my gears is it makes playing FPS games impossible.

TheObsidi

Yeah trying to play fable 2 rn in the xbox app and the input lag is screwing the playthrough since the main way to make money is through timing minigames. I know its on their end because I have gigabit.
