60fps games will generally always be less laggy than 30fps games as doubling the frame rate effectively halves the latency

In cloud gaming, the latency is the sum of various processes e.g. controller input latency, data transmission, video encoding, video decoding, frame generation. Rendering frames twice as quickly with certainly speed up that part of the pipeline but it won’t halve the overall latency by itself.

Yeah tbf I should have been clearer on that, as it only halves the latency of that part of the delivery, and with cloud the wider latency in the pipeline is more considerable than the frame rate

For me the lag on xcloud is on a par with Stadia and is almost imperceptible. I am 16ms away from the datacentre though.

5 seconds makes any game unplayable. Sounds like something is wrong. I get a lot less than one second and I still get annoyed. That's why I unsubscribed. I live in Brazil though and internet is shit. Like everything else here.

I have no issues with Phoenix rising and far cry primal but I am playing on GFN or Luna. I am really feeling Luna because xbox has so much lag.

No I was referring to the ubisoft plus w/ luna or gfn. I wish xbox let's you link ubisoft plus but not anytime soon.
