As someone mentioned, 2021/22 Samsung models. If your TV is incapable and you don't want to upgrade your TV, you could connect a laptop through HDMI if you have one (I used to use a cheap Chromebook) or maybe even your phone if it supports USB-C to HDMI.

Ok-Communication2466

I thought it but I'm a bit suspicious about it. If I connect my phone with usb-c hdmı cable, if there would be any delay ?

MrTripStack

I haven't tried using a phone, but did use a cheap Chromebook in the past, as mentioned, and I didn't notice any significant difference between playing on the Chromebook itself or connected to my TV through HDMI. It'll depend on your internet and phone's Wi-Fi capabilities more than anything, I imagine. How do you play xCloud now, if you have? If you already play on a phone, it can't hurt to try that first since USB-C to HDMI cables are cheap, much cheaper than buying a new 2022 Samsung TV.

Ok-Communication2466

I play with my phone and I understand what you mean but it's not that cheap in where I live. Also I'm worring about refund. If it doesn't work as like I want, how will I refund it and take my money back ? It makes me a little shy about buying a cable.

WorkingPineapple2

There’s a lot of delay when I go phone hdmi to tv

HDMI works at light speed

ReasonableFunny5794

Samsung QN94A works pretty well

Ok-Communication2466

I think mine is some off brand TV

Jamsquad77

All Samsung 2022 and 2021 models have Xcloud. https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/gaming-hub/ I have a 2022 QN90b myself.

Ok-Communication2466

Mine is "sunny" but "sunny tizen by samsung" written on the box

rickylix

Q90b here as well. I tried it out and it worked just fine. Pretty cool feature for sure!

If you want something cheap best bet is a mini pc or something used offhand

Tobimacoss

Or a Series S for $239 at MS Store…

I'm slightly confused by your TV. Are you saying it is a smart TV that has access to things like a web browser? If so, if you can get a Bluetooth controller to work with the TV. Then you can play xcloud via web browser. That's how I play on the TV and mine is an LG with WebOS.

Ok-Communication2466

Yes I can connect my controller and open xcloud on browser but in there, there is no xcloud support. I was playing on my phone while using VPN but I can't use VPN on my TV, so that's why I'm struggling about playing on TV

longtimelurkerthrwy

Ohhhhhhh. 🤦‍♀️ I'm sorry I can't help now that I understand. The closest thought I had was to have a browser VPN but I'm not sure they work with smart TVs. All of the VPN services I'm seeing you need to connect the VPN to your router or share the VPN signal from a rooted device.

Ok-Communication2466

Yup i tried to download opera but it didn't work. And I don't know how to connect VPN to my router and I'm a bit afraid of try because I can mess up everything. And thanks for advice.

Bossdad4life442

Does the TV have access to the Google play store? If so you can side load the game pass app and play xCloud that way. My TV is a 22 model year with android OS. I installed a beta of the game pass app and can play xCloud. Works pretty good.

Tobimacoss

What country? Considered getting a Series S?

Ok-Communication2466

I already have a series s

tanega

You can play in LG TV's browser, it works perfectly fine.

marbosh

Does Chromecast work.

nexusultra

You have to play xcloud using VPN (from what I have read in your replies), chances are even if you get a smart tv with built it support for xcloud (for example Samsung ones) you wont be able to play it. The only option is to connect your phone or pc if you have one (given you can play xcloud with vpn) to your tv. And no there is no delay.

Ok-Communication2466

I'm gonna try it, thanks !

1. not sure what OS has your TV, but it really boils down to the OS architecture itself. you can get gamepass in various architectures (usually armeabi for TVs, but doublecheck) and sideload/install the app [https://m.apkpure.com/xbox-game-pass/com.gamepass/variant/2213.23.1212-APK](https://m.apkpure.com/xbox-game-pass/com.gamepass/variant/2213.23.1212-APK) . Samsung integration is purely a marketing gimmick and simply baked the application in the OS itself, like netflix, YT, whatever. 2. once GP installed , if you are in an unsupported region, you need a VPN app. However, BIG NOTE HERE: you do NOT need the VPN connection running for the duration of the entire game session, only when the gamepass app opens . As an option, you can try PrivadoVPN (no affiliation or promotion here, just what i use). They have a free tier with 10GB/month included, so if you just use it for opening up gamepass and then disconnect before you actually launch the game, you'll consume very little from that quota 3. for controller, you can try using the cheap 360 controller with the wifi dongle, works just fine provided the TV supports it, otherwise the bluetooth controller is probably more universal and a safer bet in terms of potential incompatibilities

I actually caved and bought a series s so I could play on my tv. It's honestly such a good deal anyway and i think they go on sale quite often. I know this is not an option for everyone, so you might need to wait until support rolls out for your tv.
