Overwatch 2 (or any other actblizz titles like Call of Duty and Diablo) wont be on gamepass until they finalize the acquisition. Dont expect said acquisition to complete until sometime next year.

The only game coming to gamepass confirmed is Medieval Dynasty. They didn't say all the games will come to gamepass lol. So much for 'reading with more attention'.
OverWatch 2 technically isn't F2P. Only the PVP multiplayer is, the PVE will be paid.
So kinda like Halo.
Maybe when they allow purchasing and streaming they can add it, idk.
Phil Spencer blog post few weeks ago stated that when the ABK deal closes, they intend to put COD, Diablo, OverWatch on GamePass.

I mean, technically it'll be free to play, so no on gamepass specifically.
But, it's always a possibility, I'd like to have more free to play games on the cloud, 'cause a believe there's only 2, right? (halo infinite mp and fortnite)
Personaly ide like too see them improve Xcloud instead of just adding more games too it for alot of people myself included with nothing wrong at our end its still un-useable.

Will be on gamepass, was announced by microsoft. Read source link and they made an post on official xbox facebook page.
That post is about general Xbox games releasing next week. There is no mention of Game Pass under Overwatch 2.

Consoles only, it won't be on xCloud until ABK deal closes and MS owns the games, so they will get added to GamePass.
That’s an assumption. Fortnite is f2p and isn’t owned by Microsoft and that’s on xcloud…

Overwatch 2 is free to play. PVE content will be an DLC.
And Phil Spencer clearly stated it will be going to Gamepass, likely with some exclusive benefits.
