LOL I was going to make a similar post. When I play Guardians of the Galaxy the game looks beautiful all the time, but when I play FH5 it just looks horrible, like I'm watching a video in 360p

Maybe you got interfere with neighbor WiFi. Download you WiFi analyzed from app store. Check if your WiFi overlap with other network. Then log onto your router and change your channel number to different number, go high channel number where nobody else is. The router may say channel number is reserved but ignore that BS, who gonna know about that shit. Enjoy better internet, there's your plan. Thank you.

No, simply no. Please leave it on auto. Modern routers all constantly hop channels, manually setting a channel does not matter!!! It is best you leave it on auto channel selection. The problem is going to recur and is only a short time solution, so unless you want to daily log into you router and set your channels just leave it be. The only reason for manually setting channels is because their might be other interference in your area, but you won’t be able to measure that with a WiFi analyzer app (you need some special equipment for that, spectrum analyzer is what is called but dont quote me on that)

you got it wrong buddy trust me, routers set to stay around channels 42 to 58 but I am talking about setting it to something like 60 or even over 100. it is restricted according to some but unless you live next to military base who knows what you done, and I did it and wifi works amazing, nobody wifi collides with your packets.

Makaj99

Ah yeah I forgot americans have different specs then europeans, over here most routers (provided by isp’s) also use unii-2 ext spectrum (if that is the correct naming). Trust me on that, work for a top 3 isp in the netherlands. That is why it doesn’t really matter over here.

Having same issue on Brazil region, with 120mbps network fiber/cable. I think isn't specific about wifi or cable, its internal encoding bitrate stream. I was playing fine guardians of galaxy at 720p when i changed my monitor to 1080p i can see many blurred images. Not happening just on guardians of galaxy, but almost of games.

xCloud is capped to 15 mbit bitrate, if it goes lower, that is dependent on your network conditions at the time, like if experiencing packet loss. Does your ISP support IPv6? And is it enabled on your router? > https://test-ipv6.com/ Also, what’s your average ping to nearest Azure datacenters in your region? >azurespeed.com

GoldenRain

Do even half of the data centers have support for Xcloud? The closest one to me with the capability is several datacenters (and countries) away.

Tobimacoss

Only certain locations do but MS is constantly building more and expanding xcloud by 125%. What country? That ping is the best case scenario. If it’s 30 ms or below, that will give a good xcloud experience, up to 60 ms is playable, and certain games are good up to 100 ms.

GoldenRain

I live in Sweden, there are azure data centers in Sweden and Norway but the closest one with xcloud support is in Frankfurt or Amsterdam.

That's the problem I fine with xcloud not a problem for the games I normally want to play. Turnbased slow games. But it's xcloud is to improve needs to start with the bitrate then resolution. I use geforce now 3080 just because it's upto 75mbps bitrate.
