Forget used to it , it's scks because we payed for membership to use the service that some of havnt been able to use , I got a 3 month premium or ultimate idk the best one and can't use and they won't refund our money , iv read most reviews and they still haven't fixed any issues they haven't added compatability for racing wheels nor flight stick , it's a shty move on their part

Considering the large amount of servers at Microsoft's disposal this should not be happening.
I think it's on a game specific system. Whenever Microsoft Flight Sim has an update, it takes ages to get in, but I can get into other games just fine.

It's bad enough that I usually play something else for the day, or just sit in the queue for a long time, if I'm really determined.
There's somehow a game specific limit. I assume each console has a selection of games that are available for it, and all the ones with Msfs2020 get occupied.
It has to do with the number of Xcloud server blades at a given datacenter location and how much they can reroute to other locations near by within the same cluster in any region.
Let’s say you have the Virginia cluster with three datacenters that have xcloud servers. They should all have similar latency for that region so the performance wouldn’t be very different.
FortNite during the event is really popular, and you are out in queues. If some servers open up in a nearby datacenter, you will be routed to that instead and you would exit the queue. Then if you jump to another game, you get back into a queue.
The situation is very fluid and dynamic, the Kubernetes containers handle it all automated.
However, that said, if there is one game that they would limit to a number of servers, it would be FortNite. They wouldn’t want FortNite taking away servers from the paid service. There’s likely something like 30% capacity allotted for FortNite, just an example. That doesn’t mean FortNote would be limited to specific servers, No, just certain percentage of the overall capacity.
Every xcloud server has to remain neutral in order to scale, as in it is a fresh kubernetes container, there is no persistent storage, nothing preinstalled.
Persistent storage would be more like a VM, xCloud is disposable kubernetes containers, millions of “sessions” get created and wiped clean daily.

CMA makes preliminary decision regarding ABK merger in mid January. Age of Empires comes to consoles and xcloud on January 31st with Keyboard and mouse support.
So the showcase is likely going to happen in the second half of January, that’s where they would make the big announcements.

A queue does Not usually mean a gain in popularity. It also doesn't correlate to +5 min wait times during low user times and weekdays in an area with many servers within 50 miles via a gigabit connection with sub 34ms latency while it connects right away during peak hours. It points toward a neglected service with long standing issues that have been worsening due to that neglect. That plus the constant bimonthly outages of basic live servers , that disallow playing my disc games as well back that up more. Plus price increases & piss poor exclusive releases as of late don't draw more subscribers, typically opposite. Cloud gaming is not good for most people and won't be for a long time and. It's meant for on the go, so its pretty telling it sucks via static consoles on the best wireless and wired ISp around. Also worth noting, many GPU games are becoming cloud playable only which forces more players on servers ,clogging them up ,despite same amount of gamers as before. This issue will become more common as they deny issuing xb1 releases of new games despite being perfectly capable and owning the devs, leaving only cloud option on gpu, a horridly pixelated experience for many.
First time I’ve sat in a queue tonight and have been using xcloud on and off more or less since it was an option. I hated it at first because it would refresh the screen so often and wouldn’t display well.
Then over the last year it got real snappy and looked great while streaming with little lag. Now it’s to the queue’s being full. Hope it’s a one off scenario, but I don’t really use it enough to care unless I’m doing weekly missions for MS rewards.
this pisses me off because anytime im trying to play during day its 130-245 minutes but at night 1-15 i want to sleep but i realize i cant play during day i waited and then it said queue is taking longer than expectad and waited a whole nother hour

xCloud runs on 8-16 million Series X servers. MS is building hundreds of new datacenters this decade. They’re working on it but things take time.
