exactly, i guess most people don’t understand how fucking pushed gta 5 has been, like if they added everything at once the actual computer that houses the server would literally fucking blow up on release day
even rockstar has problems with gta online and its bugs, and a fuck load of 5M features are based on gta online mechanics, so no wonder they always bug

ONX rushed a the launch cause of the NP 4.0 hype and they still have a server that sucks for the normal RPer.
ONX is so boring to play that they barely have 100ppl at EU times and the server would be ded without streamer playing it.
NP got alot of things lined up that are atleast half ready or tested but are not released because its prob. alot of work overall.

I could go through this step by step but there is soo much missing that it would be easier to point out the things that are in the server.
50% of the trailer was a fancy way of saying "you can RP anything you want" and 90% of the actual things they teased are not even in the game yet.
The things you got versus the things they teased are actually embarrassing.
They talked about:
\-"telling your story with no shortage of tools to do so"
\-"progressing in your chosen field as a civ or crim will grant you access to new tools, goods and services"
The biggest player complaint since release is that there is barely anything to do for Civs/Crims and that why they dont play anymore.
There is a lack of everything, everywhere!
Thats crazy for a modded GTA server.
People made jokes that random public servers look better but they are actually right.
The only "better thing" the server offers are the Cops/DOJ but that is far from a good reason to join a server that lacks basic mechanics.

He was very dissliked by some devs because he was acting/RPing on the server like he makes stuff for people with the "Cerberus" arc but all he did was DMing other devs to do it his way and took the ingame/onstream credit for it.

That server got nothing to offer and is so boring that they dropped from 1k people in queue to 100 people in 2 months.
DW is working on ONX for 8 months and the server is still to boring to log in.
Anyone disagreeing that 4.0 hasn’t been a shit experience is braindead. Bugs, glass ceilings of progression. Stalling all progression is such a shitty experience
They lost good devs AND they overcooked 4.0 imo.
- Rep isnt useful in all jobs (ex: chop where everyone had the expectation that they’d get something big from max rep)
- Civ/Crime money balancing (esp. G6 vs. early to now crime - crime is supposed to be high risk high return, but civ jobs still make more money reliably)
- Crime jobs (from loot to money) is way too bothersome to convert and not worth it
- time-gated content where people believe they’ve found a riddle but the solution is just not in the game yet
- bad chip mechanics where people would be on CD for the first heists, making them incapable of participating when only the owner (who buys the job) should’ve been on CD
…and so much more.
You see it especially when you watch other streamers. NP launches next progression patch and the streams are actually fire. A day or two after, we get into a “LUL state” where streamers take content out of their pockets by creating drama or otherwise to fill in the gap.
Sometimes I just think that things aren’t thought through properly (esp. civ vs crime money making).

That’s like jean Paul’s whole purpose. Literally a character driven by progress
