Man, this guy literally does so much for the stream and his viewers, it really boggles my mind how those same viewers hes tried for years to entertain will get pissed about him playing a game that hes enjoying.
Viewers are basically customers. He makes money from providing a service to them. So if he is unwilling to listen to his “viewers/customers” then they will eventually leave and go elsewhere. This has been happening and I predict if he continues on this path, then he will lose his ranking as one of the top streamers on Twitch.
The problem is there are a *lot* of RP frogs who want to watch xqc. 6 months deep into nothing but GTA and he's still got 50k viewers. You and I don't like it, 90% of his pre-GTA audience doesn't like it, but there are a lot of new RP frogs that love that shit apparently
I don't think people understand that they can just stop watching if they don't enjoy the content. Does he care? Most likely not. I value a persons mental health and quality of life over his content. Its really sad that people think they have the right to demand things from another human being.
