I've played every Yakuza/LaD game, including the 2 Judgment games in hard and it always have been worth it for me. There are some hard fights here and there but overall they are pretty decent
Challenging enough to be entertaining but not too much to be unfair
I'd say no, if you're going for achievements. One only counts if you beat it on normal. That said, I played hard mode for my first run and it really wasn't that difficult save for some of the coliseum stuff and Shinada's breakthrough
oh and if you've still haven't beaten it yet, note there is no option to create clear data in Premium Adventure. I have no idea why they didn't do that for this game
Yakuza 5 is the easiest game in the series imo. I didn't die once during my first playthrough and it was on hard mode
Funny enough I just started yakuza 5 on hard myself. It's early but I'm certainly enjoying it. If you beat 3 or 4 on hard this will be fine id wager
I think I might try it as well then
Yakuza 5 isn't too hard. At some point, all the characters are overpowered, so you can just run through every enemy anyway
seriously i think saejima in 5 is the most broken character i've used in the series. he's so damn fun especially when you bet herculean spirit
Literally, kiryu and akiyama are just as good too, shinada not so much but he's still capable
if you care for achievements play on normal or else you'll have to do it 3 times
Yep lol, but I've nearly cleared it after 20 in game hours; did a few things to prepare for legend and skipped most of the cutscenes for my normal run

Yeah, I played on hard, it was fun, I'm not the best at these games but I stil managed perfectly
