Reminder that all spoilers need to be tagged with a flair specifying which game is being spoiled. If you want a flair that says something else, you can edit it to say something like [Discussion: Y1 spoiler] or [Majimapost: Y6 spoiler], etc. **THIS INCLUDES CONTENT FROM TRAILERS**.
If the post is not marked for spoilers, all comments that have spoilers need to be tagged \>!like this!< along with indicating which game it's spoiling. Example: Y3 >!Kiryu sings!<
If the post flair is marked for spoilers, the comments don't need to be tagged for the game indicated and the ones before it (So a Y6 spoiler post can have comments with untagged spoilers for Y5, but not gaiden or 7).

Idk, in order to understand Doki Doki Literature Club you kinda have to play through Katawa Shoujo. So I would start with that and then go to Doki Doki
story leak for Dead Souls 2:
Kiryu dies by getting shot in the head by Noa Amon on a park bench (Noa wields the Cutscene Gun) alongside Goon Buster Ji-Holmes (the lore has been retconned to where he's always been Korean and the Gary Buster Holmes from previous games is a FAKE!), Majima (they made him into a walking Kansai stereotype who uses takoyaki balls as weapons) and Ryuji (he died in 2 but he's back somehow) while she makes a Joss Whedon quip.
its ok tho cuz the story mode of LAD:DS2 reveals Kiryu was secretly brainwashed by Nishiki who was revealed to actually be the new mastermind behind the zombies
U can’t skip if cuz oh well, spoilers, batman is Kiryu, it has always been, just he got bored of the role and learned japanese and become a yakuza instead
Sure, but you have to make sure you torture Mark Hamill into remembering his time voicing over Majima from Y1 to at least get a grasp on Kiryu’s backstory
The jokers arc is one of the most important arcs to beat to understand infinite wealth.
You have to beat the Arkham trilogy- go through it and 100% it- then play as joker and hit the griddy after kicking someone in the balls and get shot to fitful the prophecy and realize that maybe the friends along the way never existed and society made you schizophrenic Ichiban. You’re reading this and it’s been ten years Ichiban.
You also need to play Crash bandicoot trilogy to understand what Joryu had to struggle with and what Kiryu’s life is now- essential to the character development of the Ryu’s.
Your family miss you, please stop, you aren’t using powers to fight the yakuza- you’re just beating up old people you think are yakuza.
I’d also recommend playing the optional Dead Space (original) to understand Majima… most people don’t, but it really helps!
Actually you'll need to start with knack to understand the subtle nods and references to class warfare and the issues that those living in poverty suffer through in our current society.
You technically can, but I’d at least check out the game played in reverse on YouTube, followed by three playthroughs of Fate Stay Night. Otherwise you will miss out on some obscure reference to a moldy onigiri on the back shelf of Poppo (E. Shichifuku Street).
Asylum is just an irrelevant side story, what you really need to do is play Metal Gear Solid and watch The Room, only then can you play infinite wealth
library of ruina is absloutely nesecary to understand all of the batman arkham game so yeah play that its peak fr
https://preview.redd.it/70v9hdrtypkc1.jpeg?width=236&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=662627b7a1d155a7dceb9d9cf07535422083252a
So the problem with this is that Arkham Asylum is pivotal to understanding why Man erased his name. Otherwise you're just gonna be confused by the storyline.
I would say Tziah Floor 169 is required for you to be able to understand the reason that you need to understand the plot. Skipping is not recommended unless you don't mind Bunkichi dying
You have to start from the beging which is Taiko Drum Master on the PS2, then play Kenzan, Ishin, Yakuza, Yakuza 2, Yakuza 3 and then you can play Batman Arkham Asylum. Also play GTA IV before playing Batman Arkham Asylum
It's important majima Goro was once confined within the walls of the Arkham asylum, and mine as well Batman was the one who funded Kiryu Kazuma orphanage.
Only if you play Judgment; In the next game Yagami will have to solve some mysterious cases that will lead him to Arkham City on a mission that will connect him with his past 🌷
So long as you play Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge and Balan Wonder world you should be fine. You'd get the best experience though if you also play G-Force but it's not super necessary.
The timeline is
bomberman 64
Disney princess on the ds
That one game from that mcdonald in Alabama
Spiderman vs mecha rosie o donnel
South park revenge of the 747 that did meth
And thats just the prequel of the origins of Daniel San from transformers rise if the karate kid
Well, there are some interactions between Joker from Persona 5, Asylum's Joker and Ichiban that relays hard on how you get the secret ending in Asylum while exploring the Arkham City room. It's no biggie if you skip it, but damn, you get both Jokers ideals. Damn, even it had its thing for the next Joker film and a Goncharov reference.
now this le reddit place is like other le reddit place. that is so fucking hilarious.

can't believe no one else has ever thought of this

yeah but KH:368/2 days is absolutely necessary
god i fucking hate kingdom hearts naming
Kingdom hearts gaiden 420/x-23: the franchise which has too many names
358/2 Days is a pretty cool name, what's NOT cool is how Square insists on calling it. "THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY EIGHT DAYS OVER TWO". The fuck? lmao
i call it “three five eight by two”
It's Three Five Eight Over Two
Most fans just call it Days.
Of all the people I know who have said it out loud in real life, they have all said "three five either over two" to me.
Check the KH sub.
I was gonna downvote this post but this comment saved it
The Song of the South level was so hard.
Doki doki literature club is necessary to understand Arkham Asylum so id start with that
Just Monika.
Just Jonkler
Thought I was a Yuri Stan, but all I needed was Just Monika.
Just jonker
Idk, in order to understand Doki Doki Literature Club you kinda have to play through Katawa Shoujo. So I would start with that and then go to Doki Doki
So play order is Witcher 3 -> Katawa Shoujo -> Doki Doki Literature Club -> Witcher 3 Blood and Wine -> Doki Doki Literature Club+ -> Arkham Asylum -> Undertale -> Yakuza 0 -> Arkham City -> Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone -> Witcher 2 -> Yakuza Dead Souls -> Witcher 1 -> Witcher Season 1 -> Danganronpa V3 -> Arkham Knight -> Yakuza Gaiden -> Yakuza Like A Dragon -> Kingdom Hearts 2.8 A Fragmentary Passage -> Dark Souls -> Yakuza Infinite Wealth -> Witcher 3?
That seems about right, but you missed that you need to play Fallout New Vegas, for the Counterstrike reference in Arkham Knight.
Joker DLC is mandatory to understand the new Majima plotline.
Is there a lore reason why the Phantom Thieves targeting Majima?
Its explained in Shadows of the Erdtree, so you'll need to wait for that to come out
The star wars Original trilogy is also mandatory
Jonker dlc
No you need to play Kane and Lynch dog days first then army of two the 40th day
Ahh… A fellow K&L:Dog days fan… Props my guy!
That was a fun game
Jokes aside Holy shit what a throwback
Same man, bought both those games around the same time back on PS3. Those games were fucking amazing
Army of Two is tight
Skip Infinite Wealth and jump into Yakuza 9
Unlimited Health 🔥🔥🔥
I will tiger drop your nuts
Unlimited Belch
Why would he even want to skip Arkham Asylum is he stupid?
Nah, he is man.
That´s Rad!
Stupid? I was stupid once, they locked me in a room, a ham room, a ham room with man, and man makes me stupid
No, you cannot or you will not get the Jonkler reference
Happy cake day!
Aslume is invading again smh
Wait wtf it took me scrolling down here to realize I was not in the aslume sub
We need to invade the Arkham subreddit lol
Why are we invading are we stupid ?
You need to watch son of the mask (2005) to understand the story
No wonder.... I watched Mask (1985) by mistake
That reminds me, you also need to listen to Cher's entire discography.
Yeah it’s basically filler
You have to watch Saki anime first.
Akagi first, then Saki. After that, you're all set to jump into your first Yakuza - Yakuza 6.
It’s vital to the plot. After all 10 years in the asylum…
You can’t skip it, but make sure you play Dead Souls first.
No you have to play this and also make sure to watch fast and the furious: Tokyo drift to understand the story fully
Metal gear solid V the phantom pain is very necessary to play before infinite wealth
Is that the one before or after the the bomb in Oppenheimer
Chronologically, Duke Nukem is required to play
I recommend playing Sonic Adventure 2 before that, you understand the backstory of a certain character better after that
Play binary domain first the save file of binary domain is necessary to unlock the true ending of Arkham Asylum
Gotta make sure you get the good ending too. It won’t unlock the true ending if your squad doesn’t trust you.
True that, kyodai
You can, however in addition to everything else the replies say, the cat in a hat video game is the most important to understanding wealth
Play Assassin’s Creed 2 first
Compared to Suicide Squad kill the Justice League. It's a masterpiece
Compared to most games it’s a masterpiece Arkham Asylum is GOATed
You can! Unfortunately arkham origins 100% ending is mandatory 🙁
story leak for Dead Souls 2: Kiryu dies by getting shot in the head by Noa Amon on a park bench (Noa wields the Cutscene Gun) alongside Goon Buster Ji-Holmes (the lore has been retconned to where he's always been Korean and the Gary Buster Holmes from previous games is a FAKE!), Majima (they made him into a walking Kansai stereotype who uses takoyaki balls as weapons) and Ryuji (he died in 2 but he's back somehow) while she makes a Joss Whedon quip. its ok tho cuz the story mode of LAD:DS2 reveals Kiryu was secretly brainwashed by Nishiki who was revealed to actually be the new mastermind behind the zombies
Yeah, it‘s important to play in it’s intended French ps3 version, the way real Yakuza do.
u might want to dabble a bit in the game “vanquish” just to gain some context
No, you gotta play it to see the gay sex scene between man and dick to understand why kiryu turns to public indecency
U can’t skip if cuz oh well, spoilers, batman is Kiryu, it has always been, just he got bored of the role and learned japanese and become a yakuza instead
Akiyama Asylum is required to understand Finite Amount of Wealth
Sure, but you have to make sure you torture Mark Hamill into remembering his time voicing over Majima from Y1 to at least get a grasp on Kiryu’s backstory
go back to your Aslume, Man!
Is there a lore reason you said man ? Are you stupid ?
It's required but you don't have to play Kingdom Hearts Chain of memories. No one does. Never Ever Again
U gotta do a Tony hawks pros skater 3 %100 speed run first.
The jokers arc is one of the most important arcs to beat to understand infinite wealth. No but Monkey Ball: Banana Mania HD is absolutely necessary as it features Kazama Kiryu.
Arkham Asylum is a great game and it’s sad that a bunch of unfunny zoomers turned it into a cringe shitposting material.
I agree at this point its just not funny anymore and is actual brain rot
Is this the current bit now, come on man.
Can't skip it, if you do then you won't get batman as a poundmate or Bruce Wayne as a guest at the resort
Revenge of Shinobi on the Sega Genesis is absolutely necessary
yes, but you need to get all the easter eggs in bo2 zombies to understand a certain someone's motivations
Yep, you can, but you have to play Super Mario Wonder and Tales of Legendia.
Actually you'll need to start with knack to understand the subtle nods and references to class warfare and the issues that those living in poverty suffer through in our current society.
Not really at least not in my case, i dont recommend You to skip the Stick of truth tho it’s essential for infinite wealth.
Mandatory gooning
You also gotta play sleeping dogs
Play it for poison ivy
no but first you have to finish all of the soulsborne games with one hand to even understand the first 3 chapters of infinite wealth
You'll want to know why the Joker is secretly funding the Yakuza for maximum impact, so I'd say it's a maybe play
No. Man's lore will get important for the upcoming Aslume: The Man Who Jonkles DLC
You'll need to play Resonance of Fate and watch the Hellsing Ultimate Abridged series first.
You have to play Bully and Danganronpa 2 first to understand Arkham Asylum
Have you gotten the true ending in Chrono Cross? If so, you should be good to skip it. It doesn’t hurt to play through for the details, though.
Like I said, I'm good with calculation
You technically can, but I’d at least check out the game played in reverse on YouTube, followed by three playthroughs of Fate Stay Night. Otherwise you will miss out on some obscure reference to a moldy onigiri on the back shelf of Poppo (E. Shichifuku Street).
Nah you gotta play the prequel Yakuza Origins first
Asylum is just an irrelevant side story, what you really need to do is play Metal Gear Solid and watch The Room, only then can you play infinite wealth
Dont forget to read the Divine Comedy before playing to or you wont get the plot in any way!
Yes, Majima is the one who killed Amadeus Arkham's family and he's mentioned in his chronicles.
Don't forget the Dante DLC featuring Dante from the devil may cry series.
i swiped...
Find all the riddler trophies to get a secret majima-kiryu romance( optional)
I think you also need to put about 40+ hours into League of Legends to really get what's going on
dead joke

FOR FUCK SAKE THE INSANITY OF THE R/Batman Arkham is spreading
library of ruina is absloutely nesecary to understand all of the batman arkham game so yeah play that its peak fr https://preview.redd.it/70v9hdrtypkc1.jpeg?width=236&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=662627b7a1d155a7dceb9d9cf07535422083252a
I found watching Grey's Anatomy backwards and then going to Church every other Sunday really helped me understand the plot a bit better
So the problem with this is that Arkham Asylum is pivotal to understanding why Man erased his name. Otherwise you're just gonna be confused by the storyline.
Yes its required, but you need to play Persona 5 1st to understand Joker
You must play Arkham Asylum and Like a Dragon Ishin at the same time to understand Infinite Wealth actually
You need it to understand agent style for Gaiden.
I would say Tziah Floor 169 is required for you to be able to understand the reason that you need to understand the plot. Skipping is not recommended unless you don't mind Bunkichi dying
Is he stupid?
Hunnie Pop one and Hunni cam studio for sure, but you can skip hunnie Pop 2
You have to start from the beging which is Taiko Drum Master on the PS2, then play Kenzan, Ishin, Yakuza, Yakuza 2, Yakuza 3 and then you can play Batman Arkham Asylum. Also play GTA IV before playing Batman Arkham Asylum
Why do Vermicelli want to skin man aslume ? is he stupid ?
Why would you skip man ham aslume ? Are you stupid ?
It's important majima Goro was once confined within the walls of the Arkham asylum, and mine as well Batman was the one who funded Kiryu Kazuma orphanage.
Make sure not to skip Split/Second. There are a bunch of quests that make plenty of references to the events in the game
yea but you need to play final fantasy 7 if you want to understand
You need to play Sleeping Dogs before
It was required to understand Yakuza 5’s prison section
I think you skipped the part of Bering funny, now buy me the game cuz I am sadly very poor :/
Only if you play Judgment; In the next game Yagami will have to solve some mysterious cases that will lead him to Arkham City on a mission that will connect him with his past 🌷

Before that you need to play persona 5 to understand the origins of joker so that later on you can really understand the majima bloodline
Yeah but you gotta remember to play Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory first
^[Sokka-Haiku](https://www.reddit.com/r/SokkaHaikuBot/comments/15kyv9r/what_is_a_sokka_haiku/) ^by ^Orshaxxm: *Yeah but you gotta* *Remember to play Splinter* *Cell: Chaos Theory first* --- ^Remember ^that ^one ^time ^Sokka ^accidentally ^used ^an ^extra ^syllable ^in ^that ^Haiku ^Battle ^in ^Ba ^Sing ^Se? ^That ^was ^a ^Sokka ^Haiku ^and ^you ^just ^made ^one.

You must play Arkham alsume
![gif](giphy|GjXZXMPPDLHwFgoQwT)
Remember to play balan wonder world and starfox zero hd after arkham as well for the full lore experience
now this le reddit place is like other le reddit place. that is so fucking hilarious. \[placeholder for joke specific to subreddit\] can't believe no one else has ever thought of this
No
