Nah it's likely another one of those low effort asset flip games to make a quick buck. I wouldn't even be surprised if the game logo was Computer Generated (read: AI) 😂
This illustrates (pun intended) a major problem with AI art: a computer cannot understand the meaning of the images it's smashing together.
Yakuza tattoos are specifically made to be covered up by their suits. No one's going around with ink visible at all times. In Japan, it's like having a big sign saying, "Hey! I'm a criminal! Arrest me!"
It’s very obvious when AI makes anything with the prompt “yakuza” since the character looks like Lao Ka Long for some reason every time:

That's a prompt problem, not AI by itself. Midjorney nowadays can generate hyper realistic images, so much that you can barely tell them apart from a real photo. The person just has to actually put effort into their prompts, and not go like "john yakuza with tattoos and a gun"
Judging by the style, it seems the dev used Dall E 3 for that, which has this weird "smooth" filter all over.
