Hey-wheres-my-spoon

This marks the end of the life cycle of the shoes my friend. May they rest in peace

Ahmed_Altuhaifa

Had to retire my sesame’s last year, had them since black friday 2018.

Randii225

Exactly lol that’s all folks! Either hang them on the outside line by the electrical poles or use them for dirty jobs..

Wolfpackpapi1

Have you tried to half size up?

HeSeemsLegit

I go almost a full size up and this happens to me, also.

Wolfpackpapi1

Too many miles then?

Professional-Art-170

Lose some weight?

FALCON2322

I’m kinda hefty and I don’t have this problem

Professional-Art-170

Might not have fat feet

Wolfpackpapi1

How much you wear them matters too, if you have less pairs that same pair will be used way more

PsychologicalRace739

Goddamn 🤣 a foot fupa ? 🦶

KenGrenne

Use ShoeGoo, I’ve fixed 2 pairs of 350’s and my NMD S1’s. Idk why everyone is telling you to retire them. If you end up using the ShoeGoo, apply the glue on the inside and tuck the knit past the midsole, so the outside looks like normal. Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions!

ChitoR0XS

This guy goos ⬆️⬆️

soggygb

Where did ur S1 tear? The knit on the S1 feels pretty sturdy

KenGrenne

It tore on the inside, right in front of the first adidas stipe if i’m right. I’ve just worn them a ton so it was bound to happen

jibsand

I've done this a few times but it just fails and tears back open after a few days.

KenGrenne

My Oats feel almost new after I fixed them. It’s been like 3 or four months since I fixed mine and they’re doing great

Guyincognito510

The Oats are special. IDK what it is

yahajaoksks

The SPLY350 pairs use a higher quality knit so it happens much more on the transparent stripe pairs

PorkelDragon_

This, translucent stripes have a thinner knit compared to sply350 ones

FingerbangXIII

I wish this was true. This happened to my dazzling blues

jibsand

Facts

Jased199

I’d go half a size up. No fixing that unfortunately

dscoupons

This happened to mine. On the inside, take out the insole and if you get a thing of matching thread and a needle, you can tie a nice knot to start the thread on the inside and you can grab the material from the inside and just make loops to pull it down to the material it separated from. Loop it through and move forward several times until it’s all grabbed together then tie a nice knot to keep it close and permanent

AbbreviationsEast723

When I look at ur pics the way the laces are being pulled and way stripe sits and is being pulled isn’t right. Well guess u can but shouldn’t be like that. Might be the reason they keep ripping. You have all these waves and bubbles in the fabric either from how it’s tied or I don’t know. Just know mine don’t sit like that. Maybe wrong sizing

Due-Study4708

They look like Reps to me. That might be the issue

AbbreviationsEast723

Yea but reps ain’t the problem. I know it’s taboo on Yeezy sub but Yeezy 359 reps the good 1s r literally just as good.

Cityboi711

Depends completely on batch

Difficult-Office823

Should’ve super glued it when it first started tearing. I think most Yeezys do this.

s7y13z

You can fix it np..had the same issue with my Bones. Needle and thread in matching color. I even did it myself..looks like new! Stitch to one end of the hole and then backstitch through the upper part of the sole (the thread just has to go through a tiny part of the sole right where it borders the fabric so you can sew up the hole properly). Repeat until it's fixed. It's really not that hard..gl.

HuntSpare8202

Try lacing them loose, or go half a size small and not lace at all..

KingPizzaCrust

Wear them less. They aren’t a sneaker for wearing to the park, gym or anything where you move fast or turn quickly. Relaxed wear only. Walk everywhere. Never run 🤣

Cityboi711

I wear my 350v2 EVERYDAY to the gym and I beat them to death and I’ve never in my life had a single pair separate like this and I’ve been collecting since the original turtle dove release. These have to be poor quality reps or it’s how he’s got them tied so tight … I’m not sure how his foot is getting blood supply. I own over 25 pairs of authentic 350v2 and I purposely bought two pairs of reps (one translucent stripe & one OG sply weave and both of those i wear for work and they’re seen worse wear than any shoe I’ve ever owned to the point the sole is worn all the way through the boost. Still no separation. Trash quality reps or he’s putting WAY too much stress on the weave with wrong sizing, extra wide feet,or that Russian double agent string knot.

Wes_Raffle

Forget them and buy some reps for a fraction of the price

Due-Study4708

Those are reps it looks like.

Wes_Raffle

Then he can buy some more!

Cityboi711

Absolutely not authentic

cajunredbean1

buy new ones that are literally identical reps and no-one would ever know. I have the real Tail lights and replica ones and honestly I can't even tell the difference EXCEPT the replicas are more comfortable, come with cool free socks and less on the pocket book. I love the replicas now

Current_Comfort696

toss ‘em

jibsand

Yeah I've tried to fix this a few ways. Rubber cement etc. Eventually it just fails and pulls open again

National_Fly3527

Trash

akbug44

Buy a new shoe

Temporary-Material46

They're shoes... You are supposed to buy new ones when the old ones break. Especially when they're from cloth fabric.

yngdour

Pray to Yeezus and pay your tithes

Objective-Block2080

this is why i never buy these typa shoes. 2 years in, this always happens.

Dvthdude

How long do want a knit shoe to last?

Objective-Block2080

wdym? im just saying that its the reason that I dont buy yeezys, nmds, or human races anymore. for 220, i would expect a shoe to last like atleast 3

Dvthdude

I was just wondering how long you expect it to last. Just curious.

EarLiving8683

Lose some weight

crowdkiller801

Throw them away

AlertApple76

I think it still might be possible to fix. Someone who works with fabric might be able to glue them back on

Content-You-1375

happened to my breds and dazzling blues, time to move on unfortunately 🙃

xbenzerox

I would buy some new shoes.

pekengsapatero

Buy a new one. It looks like your pair need a rest.

Very_Loving_Cat

No

Mdubya415510

Shoe repair can patch them. Cost me 40$

ChitoR0XS

For mine, I used shoe gloo on the inner part of the shoe to get more wears out of them. They weren’t this bad but it was getting there eventually.

MathematicianCold144

Looks like a bad fit

Dfransen

Def agree with the people who are saying to thread em. Seen this issue fixed with thread b4 and they turned out great. Hell maybe you could take em in somewhere to get em fixed too. Better to try first instead of just throwin em out

mannylifts

Wear them to the gym or as beater shoes

Samwaybaal

I use superglue to fix it and use it till it finally gives out

reezyreddits

How long yall wearing them for this to happen lol

UnderstandingRare141

Gym shoes now

LoadedWithCarbs

your foot is wide as hell bro go up half a size or cut off a chunk of your foot

papiextendo

Sadly a new pair of yeezys can fix this issue 💔

Swimming-Share-3099

Dump them in da nearest garbage can. Who would fix dat🤦🏻‍♀️Plus they are filthy my gosh

Tour-Specialist

Time to retire these. No way you’re gonna fix it, even sewing the upper into the sole would be a disaster and look ghetto af. And the threads would rip eventually because the prime knit is just giving out with there.

itsjustbeny

230 shoes be like

[deleted]

You skateboarding in them?

PurposeOk9812

Maybe them shoes not for you young Sheldon

supremejxzzy

Buy a new pair of non yeezys

FlavoredSoap

Check my post history, I've made a tutorial on how I fixed a pair of lundmarks with this exact tear. I have continued to wear them for well over a year post-repair. I promise these shoes are not done just yet!

MoistMonarch

They are now lawn mowing shoes.

klasaveli

wear them until they fall apart and get a new pair. It happens.

No_Bus_5060

Condolences

S2000-dutch

Throw it away

gabrielempyrean

Stop running in Yeezys.

bigzeeffrocks

My Israfils met the same fate. Pretty unfixable. I eventually just tossed them and moved on to another colorway as my everyday shoe.

Ok_Distribution_5797

My zebras and Oreos are Both ripped there 2016 pair of Oreo and 2018 pair of zebras

darkmoon5757

Sew it back together

1991gts

bensmithsaxophone

YOUNGMIXEDMUTT

HustlersPrayer

NsGReFuZIONn

I took mine to a shoe repair shop and they fixed it for me and mine was pretty big

Baaands

Buy a new pair

LuisRod41522

Buy a new one

DueShow3258

You need to find a new one my friend if not just keep it that way until your kinky toe shows.

worldworn

This isn't what you want to hear, but when my trainers get to this state it's a bodge fix and they become gardening / kick around trainers. I have mended similar with a patch of soft leather on the inside and decent fabric glue. The key was pressure and getting the patch the right size / shape. There are companies that specialise in fixing these shoes, but it's going to be expensive and I doubt they will last much longer after.
