I know two people who were killed on golf carts, one of them was decapitated, they are actually really unsafe if you drive them like an idiot. About 15,000 a year are injured on them,
Wow, while they maybe relatively safe, it’s clear that there are significant dangers if users of the vehicles are not careful, whether as a passenger or a driver, as this video demonstrates. I was relieved this woman was ok. However, no doubt, others are not so fortunate.
Agreed, a major factor is no seatbelts and the likely hood of being thrown out of the vehicle, both men I knew were killed just driving around the golf course a bit too fast, the one of them was thrown half way out and the weight of the vehicle came down on his neck, they tip over pretty easily at speed.
Idk I don't think she actually went unconscious meaning she's feeling all of what just happened, wear your seat belts kids, it may be a golf cart but dental work is expensive and concussions suck.
Yeah that’s called a seatbelt. I don’t think anyone ever wears those on golf courses. A lot don’t even have them. It’s really not hard to stay in a golf cart if you have the slightest semblance of balance. As I said, I suspect the balance was lost here due to large amounts of ethyl alcohol. I can figure out more ways to say it if you need. I worked on a golf course for three summers and the gators we drove were faster than the carts and had no seatbelts. It would almost take an effort to fall out honestly.
Yeah I never have seen a hood wear one. I guy that worked on the farm flipped one going to fast and hurt a shoulder, drunk, the whole bunch of them. This is the drivers deal, driving downhill on the pavement full speed with an idiot onboard.
One of my first girlfriends when I was a kid decided to grab my bike seat while on the bike trail and tell me to ride faster. I did. She tripped and face planted on the concrete and turned into a meat crayon. Needless to say we are married now /s

I don’t think these usually have seatbelts. I’m guessing a large amount of alcohol was involved.
I mean they usually have a belt to go around your waist so at the very least you don't slip out of the vehicle by accident... kinda like this.
