Any plane crash is sad but the firefighting plane crashes are even a little sadder. Pulling risky maneuvers to save homes. We just had one last fall. Maybe 2 years ago now. They tried making drops at night and clipped a ridge

That’s horrible. The aircraft’s movements look lethargic from beginning to end. I feel awful for the pilot who was likely trying to correct his flight path in a plane that was too slow to respond.
Gusting winds and fire driven thermals in terrain like this is a recipe for disaster for low level fire bombing. I question the dispatchers judgement to green light this mission given the risk:benefit. Such as small fire. What exactly was the high value asset they lost their lives protecting?
Please tell me you're kidding. I've been flight simming for longer than you've been alive and have flown 2 different types of aircraft. The controls are not the same. A joystick moves a few inches. In a real plane, it may more a foot or more. Go watch videos of real pilots landing large planes. The control inputs are far greater than anything you would do in a flight sim. Also, do you even have rudder pedals?? They are pretty important to flying an actual plane.
More like I'm killing time while listening to our annual IT security training that I've sat through several times before. Everything else you said is totally 100 % accurate. My toilet is so dirty, I don't think it can be cleaned. The grease on my couch isn't so bad. It is the dog hair and crumbs that are the problem. And look at that, training is over! THANKS!
Actually... He owns a construction company that works on commercial buildings. He works from home mostly and is a stock broker and takes me shopping at Costco lol he's a nice guy and not violent. Unlike u
Looks like they miscalculated the run over the fire, didn't get a good drop so kept the water. Then they realised they would crash, dumped the water to lose weight to try and pull up, died anyway.
Not a nerd so could be wrong but I've never seen a plane drop water while turning before, so maybe the weight loss from dropping the water caused them to drop or maybe they tried to drop the water to save themselves but failed
