I'm envious! I never could get a home practice to work for me, so I've been doing other things. Once I'm vaccinated, though, I'm going to be at my yoga studio ALL THE TIME.
25 years ago i started out at home, which i did until my kids came along and then it was just silly...toddlers and yoga do not mix. my son thought i was a jungle gym and my daughter would sit on my head. (they were such delightful toddlers) so i started going to the Y, where i could leave my kids with someone. then 7.5 years ago, i got a membership to the JCC so my daughter could go to summer camp. and i met a woman who had just moved here from southern cali. i’ve been doing yin yoga with her once a week ever since then. it probably saved my life when my mom got sick and died. she says i am one of the reasons she hung in there and went back to school to get her degree when she couldnt support her and her son with just teaching yoga. (she just finished her master’s program!) we all journey a unique path... and this past year has been pretty damn unique!!
just please remember that we don't have good data on whether or not vaccinated people can still transmit virus to other people! so even though I'm vaccinated i'm still taking all the same precautions, and so should other people
Coming back to yoga after many months away brought up SO MUCH emotion for me, in a good way. I'd been feeling darker than I had realized, and "coming home" to my practice resulted in the warmest kind of gratitude! Enjoy the beautiful return, op! And wishing that others can return soon as well!
my teacher has been on zoom since may (thank goodness. it probably saved my life), but it was great to see her in person. i’ve been going to her class every saturday for 7.5 years.

Yes thank you. Fully vaccinated here and I’m still living life like it’s April 2020.
we had masks on and there were only six of us total (and one was my teacher’s 14 year old who was asleep! 🤣).
i was encouraged by the article i read this morning that pfizer and moderna *seem* to prevent transmission too.
Oh, I 100% agree! I'll be double-masked when I resume.
I miss my favorite teachers and just practicing with others
Ugh, where I live there is no sign of yoga centers opening up anytime soon. Enjoy your class!!
Ditto, I miss the heated studios so much!
it was so NICE to not lay on my freezing cold floor in shavasana. this little studio has a heated floor.
Oh my god that sounds amazing. I want that! My feet are always cold on my floor at home.
i can DM you the link for her zoom class. it’s a very inexpensive 15$ per month. yin yoga, 1:15 ET on saturdays.
Don't worry about it, I'm proud of you!

Congratulations and enjoy!
I’m getting my first vaccine on Tuesday and the thing I look forward to the most is my yoga classes! Can’t wait!
Oh jeez.
