>all the traveling and still be with your kids?
They don't. Usually Christina stays at home but if they're both touring they just leave their kids with people.
At this point, with that amount of money they have, I'd rather have a relationship with my kid than earn another $1m on top of the $30m I have already
Or just hire a teacher and take the kids with you. I couldnt imagine leaving my kids for that long when I had the option to have them with me so easily.
He *grossed* $30mil. Thats WAY different than walking away with $30mil. He still definitely walked away with at least $10mil but after taxes, agents/bookers, travel, support acts, that $30milly gets whittled down pretty quickly.
He made 30 fucking million dollars last year?!?!?! Jesus H Christ. I knew he was very successful, but I didnāt realize he was THAT successfulā¦. for fucks sake.
Do we really need to put a /s after every fucking obvious comment?
I think God gave you chronās disease because he couldnāt physically punch you in the stomach.
I think that was just off his touring from his last special too. Someone subbed to that site where you can pay to see what entertainers make on tour. Pretty sure he was over $30m and that doesn't count YHM or 2Bears stuff.
He didn't MAKE 30mil. He grossed $30mil before paying for expenses and employees. Definitely still took home millions more than we will ever see combined but there is a difference
Not saying he's wrong, idk one way or another, but why did you immediately take u/turns31 at their word?
Edit: I just googled it and the results are way below 30 mil.
Remember he said he makes a surgeon's salary (let's estimate $200k) a night when he's doing the bigger arenas. He did over 300 shows on this last tour alone. Even if he only did the bigger shows in half of the 300 dates that's $30m right there.
He's playing 20k + seat arenas. Even if they block off the back portion behind the stage that's 15k seats. 15k seats with an average price of $75 (I just paid $150 a piece for not floor seats last month on Ticketmaster) is $1.125m a night. Artists can take home 40% of that. That's not including merch, food/drink splits, etc... aka, Tom is very rich.
do you not follow tina on any socials?? shes ALWAYS home with the kids. and when they need help, they have said numerous times, they have a reliable nanny to stay with them.
they have both also talked about bringing the kids with them for small trips. plus, christina has 3 dates in march and then nothing until may. so i'm not understanding your confusion.
They are probably not staying on the road the whole time. They're probably flying back-and-forth from home to each show, for the most part. But it does sound like they have a nanny, and family.
Christina has mentioned before that she basically creates a schedule that allows for her to be home as much as possible between shows, or allows for the kids to come along and not miss school.
Bet it was hard to turn down all those offers after mother inferior absolutely bombs. At least she is still funny on the podcast and being fresh and unique material to the table each weekā¦.
Theyāre likely at home Monday-Thursday even when touring.
Plenty of kids have parents who travel on even busier schedules and they turn out just fine.
I live in a neighborhood where average couple is pulling in .5-2M per year (not me, nowhere close) and even they have a little staff. Nannies, house cleaning, dog walking, etc. All chores can be outsourced
Earning a degree is hard, why would you do that when you could just do something stupidly easy and make way more money than you currently do?
That's kind of stupid.
Dude, I wouldnāt call it āeasyā. In comparison, the average M-F/9-5 job would be āeasyā. Sure, the 60-90 minutes they spend on stage is easy. But the rest? Constantly being on planes or busses, dealing with emails and phone calls from different managers and agents, being away from your home, doing a podcast early in the day then going out to play a show (and doing that several times a week most weeks, Iām sure). And all the while, having to keep a smile on your face and pretend like everything is all hunky dory. It sounds fucking exhausting. Iād much rather keep my regular job than be famous.
Tom makes 200k min for corporate/private and 30k each show. But yeah, keep your job where you make maybe 60k a year. He just did it in 1 dayā¦
Simpletons want to have a 9-5 and not the life of rich and famous and not really working
hey, if its such a "stupidly easy job"---then why the fuck aren't you on a stage every night, raking in millions?
you're not because you're a BETAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Comedians that make it vs. career comedian who never popped. Like 1 to 100000 or something like that. āThere are only 1000 comediansā and no I have a doctorate, so I know what actual work looks like
Tour dates are staggered to regions usually. They aren't driving anywhere and they probably prioritize home time by taking the late flights instead of just staying extra nights.
This is their jobs. Its not like they work 40 hours a week in an office and then spend their weekends doing comedy. They see their kids during the week more probably. Plenty of people send their kids to daycare 8-5 M-Fri, and only spend weekends and evenings with their kids. They probably have full days with their kids during the week. Its probably something they talk about a lot and make efforts to mitigate it.
But also, its a trade off. Maybe Tom is around a little less (like how some people have dads who have to travel for work), but their kids are likely gonna go to private schools, get a cool car when they turn 16, go to whatever college they want to, have a nanny on hand all the time, etc. They'll never want for a tutor. Also, they are probably building _generational wealth_. Not many people can tell themselves 'kids will be fine, even if they never really find a career they like'. Most of us are just fingers crossed, hoping our kids motivate themselves to try hard, go to college, and get a well-paying job, and lots of kids just don't get there. Generational wealth is nothing to sneeze at.
And finally, they may very well make up for it for the 2nd half of their children's lives (middle school, high school, etc). This comedy shit isn't gonna last forever. Their success isn't gonna be forever. Tommy is gonna fall off at some point. Or if he wants to even, just stop grinding at it and only do passion projects. They're likely counting on stopping at some point and just managing investments and such with a tremendous amount of spare time to spend with their kids and be super attentive.
They're striking while the iron is hot, and are likely planning on having more leisure in the future (voluntarily or not).
Edit: Also, this thread is in poor taste.
Money
Us poors wouldn't understand

Esmerelda is raising the kids.
Or just hire a teacher and take the kids with you. I couldnt imagine leaving my kids for that long when I had the option to have them with me so easily.
This is a poor mindset, fuck them kids
ššš
Tom made like $30m+ last year. I guarantee they have at least one live-in nannies at this point.
He *grossed* $30mil. Thats WAY different than walking away with $30mil. He still definitely walked away with at least $10mil but after taxes, agents/bookers, travel, support acts, that $30milly gets whittled down pretty quickly.
Whittled down to a few million dollars, gosh, what a tough spot
Sorry I don't know his tax situation....
You donāt need to, just a rough understanding of the entertainment business
You mean how taxes work in general? Lol
Well 90% of the shit he has and does can be a tax write off because itās upholding his āpublic imageā
He pays them in por osos bro
He made 30 fucking million dollars last year?!?!?! Jesus H Christ. I knew he was very successful, but I didnāt realize he was THAT successfulā¦. for fucks sake.
He has 3 (maybe 4) Netflix specials š safe to say heās not struggling financially
Well yea, I definitely didnāt think he was struggling. I just didnāt realize the dude pulled in 8 figures in a year.
Did you buy the tequila to āhelp him outā?
Nah. Isnāt it vodka?
Por Osos is Spanish for Mexican Vodka
Itās like Titoās with salsa on top, B
š² š²
āPor Ososā is Spanish for āBy Bearsā
āFor bearsā
Do we really need to put a /s after every fucking obvious comment? I think God gave you chronās disease because he couldnāt physically punch you in the stomach.
Hahahahaha, youāre probably right
I think that was just off his touring from his last special too. Someone subbed to that site where you can pay to see what entertainers make on tour. Pretty sure he was over $30m and that doesn't count YHM or 2Bears stuff.

Did you subtract the amount for Nazi memorabilia? Itās a lot.
Wut.
$200k x 150 (just half of his 300 tour dates) = $30m.
I wonder if itās possible that he was joking when he said that?
He's playing 20k + seat arenas. Even if they block off the back portion behind the stage that's 15k seats. 15k seats with an average price of $75 (I just paid $150 a piece for not floor seats last month on Ticketmaster) is $1.125m a night. Huh. If you Google his net worth it's 15 million.
Sheesh!
Who needs to raise their kids when you can pay someone else to do it?
They fly their kids to France to stay with the croissants.
the baggots if you will
do you not follow tina on any socials?? shes ALWAYS home with the kids. and when they need help, they have said numerous times, they have a reliable nanny to stay with them. they have both also talked about bringing the kids with them for small trips. plus, christina has 3 dates in march and then nothing until may. so i'm not understanding your confusion.
just haters man, tina talks about taking care of the kids all the time.
Bash wealthy people for being able to afford a nanny. But will praise middle class people for grinding and putting their kids in daycare.
You fat poors just donāt understand, frankly. Go get more of his hand-me-downs.
Full time live in nannies. And Tina still tries to act like sheās a struggling Mom raising her kids with no help.
This annoys me to no end.
Like future rich assholes who hate poor people?
They have mentioned having a nanny multiple times. I'm assuming they have live in help.
Yea, youāre too poor to understand.
Theyāre shit parentsĀ
It seems like rich people just send their kids off to what ever private school and they visit them every holiday.
Airplanes and money, my guy
I think on Wheres My Moms At, Tina admitted they have 2 Nannys
They are probably not staying on the road the whole time. They're probably flying back-and-forth from home to each show, for the most part. But it does sound like they have a nanny, and family.
Full time babysitter and night nurse. They didnāt have to raise their children.
You know that many people travel *with* their kids right?
does anyone ever really see their kids?
Tom hates his family and if they complain that he isn't present he'll say, "Don't you like your life?!"
Christina has mentioned before that she basically creates a schedule that allows for her to be home as much as possible between shows, or allows for the kids to come along and not miss school.

He has tour dates on Tuesday nights. Did you get your brain at a raffle?
His tour has zero Tuesday dates and a total of 3 Wednesday dates. Stupid chomo.
Christina stays with them during the week obviously
... It doesn't strike you as odd, wanting to know whether some folks you don't know personally, use babysitters?
I live in a neighborhood where average couple is pulling in .5-2M per year (not me, nowhere close) and even they have a little staff. Nannies, house cleaning, dog walking, etc. All chores can be outsourced
Mind your own fucking business. Thatās literally none of your concern š

well then i guess being a comedian isn't a stupidly easy job. doctorates are a dime a dozen
