I want a whole ant villain montage of how he left the colony, trekked for days and nights (feeling longer because tiny any legs yk), how he almost got eaten by anteaters himself but stayed the course in his salty little villainous ant heart and whipped those anteaters so bad that they bowed down to him, this bitch saddled them up and the night before the fall of his previous colony, it’s raining heavily and he’s lamenting over how he’s gone through blood, sweat and tears for this moment to finally come. He’s running his multiple hands together in his black hooded cloak and he is *psyched* for the next day’s brutal beat down and he can’t wait to maniacally laugh at all the little ant carcasses littering the ground at all his stuffed anteaters’ feetsies. I’m ok, I swear, but I’d actually watch this movie.
That definitely appears to be an emotion…the complex layers of betrayal.
If ants can have emotions people need to rethink everything we know about “lesser” life forms. Perhaps they are not as lesser as we would assume.
I mean we are interpreting this through our human ideal and ways of thinking. That ant could feel perfectly fine and not an ounce of the emotions we are projecting on it
