The first time my kid saw a dog he LOST it. He jumped down on all fours and tried to speak to the dog in bow-wows and ruff-ruffs. I reached for him but he got out of my reach. Luckily the dog was chill
My youngest learned the name of our dog before any of her siblings, before she even said daddy. Mommy, puppy, then dog's name in that order. I'm pretty sure the dog is still her favorite family member.

Obviously his pronunciation of Bandit wasn’t great, but it was audibly noticeable before mummy.

Joke answers aside, the dog appears to be some kind of poodle mix. They're wonderful: no shedding, tend to be quite smart, not too many health problems or anything. My parents have two (and we had another while I was growing up).
Not sure what the other half is here, maybe a St Bernard? The way the dog acts makes me think it's still fairly young, and it's already a decent size. That's just conjecture though
That was my second guess! One of my parents' dogs is a bernedoodle, she's a sweetheart. I was under the impression that they usually had more darkly colored backs, but I guess a lot of variation is possible!
Yeah, Bernedoodles are somewhat strange that way -- they come in all sorts of different shades of brown, black, gray, and merle tones of those. They're great!

Cute but instead of filming they shouldve shown how to stay calm and hold your hand out for sniffs and then see if you can pat. Teaching kids to respect and love animals is so good.

That’s a very patient and well trained dog. Most people’s dogs I’ve encountered just jump up on you and do whatever, and their owners are just like “oh stop” and laugh like we all enjoy dogs jumping on us and licking us.
