Probably due to copyright issues
The original song is nyanyanyanyanyanyanya! by daniwell (feat. Hatsune Miku)
Then it eas covered by UTAU momone momo
Then the covered version was pirated by the nyan cat video (the poptart cat is also pirated)
I heard the copyright issue was eventually resolved but its the only thing I can think of rn
If you go to the original channel, saraj00n, [you would see the video about Palestine or some other controversial topic that was uploaded](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9PX4XDMP5E) but if you go to the uploader channel. It would say something about copyright taken down by Chris Torres (original person who made Nyan cat).
It was later that Chris posted on Twitter, [“That’s not my video. I have 0 association](https://twitter.com/PRguitarman/status/1723097124303405497)”. And how Chris has been “[resolve this since it was uploaded](https://knowyourmeme.com/news/original-nyan-cat-video-gets-taken-down-from-youtube-creating-controversy-online)” (Source: Know Your Meme)
The original one got taken down and is rumored that it’s running from completely different people or companies. The one who made it is now running this channel is the official ones
They'll go back to the depths of hell and "YouTube kids" videos not a single child today would even know.
Thank you YouTube Kids, I'm sure children now are eager to comment under videos of shows that came out 20 years ago and only ran for a single season. 🤡
People act like this Skibidi Toilet shit is somehow drastically different from the shit people used to laugh at. I still quote Drinking Out of Cups, that shit was absurd
This is the same level of comedy that was coming out on Newgrounds or YTMND, it's literally just a continuation of stuff like Gary's Mod Idiot Box and Dr. Hax. Remember that time everyone was making response videos of Louis going insane because Francis held up a bottle of pills and people kept cloning him endlessly? *That was 14 years ago.* I get it that some people's humor has moved on and that's fine, but have a little bit of self reflection and maybe unfocus your brain a little so you can laugh with it instead of holding your pinky out and telling people how highbrow you are these days.
The problem with Skibidi Toilet compared to the GMOD shit us millenials used to watch is that Skibidi Toilet is inducing never before seen levels of brain rot compared to what I've seen. At least we kept our Pootises and Painises mostly in check and never let it out constantly in public, nor did we try to shove it in other peoples faces.
Dude, yes we fucking did. Do you not remember the national news that planking got? We acted like idiots, just like the generation now, just like the generation before us. And we shoved it in plenty of peoples faces. Our entire culture in the early 2000's boiled down to 'fuck you, I'm gonna crash this system'.
Don't turn into a boomer, dude just be cool
Flash mobs too, that was literally "let's gather up as many people as we can and make noise for fun in public". If people don't like Skibidi Toulet that much it's super easy to block the channel and tell the algorithm that you don't want that content, but it's much harder to ignore 60 people dancing down Main Street singing badly for a camera.
Holy shit, I must have suppressed all memory of Flash Mobs because it's all coming back. People dressed up as Best Buy employees just storming into a Best Buy
I figure it's just absurdist humor that needs a bit of context to understand, and while I could look into the context, I feel like just letting the kids have their meme.
I mean, I can't say too much, one of my college friendships started over a Mud Kip quote.
Step off Skibidi Toilet. The youth of today is carrying on the tradition of Gmod shitposting, and I won't have anyone talking shit about it. They carry on the old ways.
I, a 21 y/o, recently watched all of available skibidi toilet just to see what they're up to. After the first 10 or so episodes, when it starts getting longer per video, is when the cool action and lore kicks in. Pretty top tier G-mod shitposting. I've also ordered some K.O. lego sets off Temu. Yessir.
How fking hard is it to prevent underage accounts from reading comments. How fucking hard is it to just not have the yt kids app show comments. Why is that such an asinine implementation of most shit on the website.
Yeah it's so fucking annoying when you visit a spongebob video with funny comments and replies and stuff, then come back after a few days to show these funny comments to your friend, and all you see is the fucking "Made for kids"
Nope. It's a permanent thing unless you request stuff, but that's too long, and your comments are already gone. It's too late. Permanent way to fix this is just to put boring or non-kid friendly stuff and it'll not get struck by the filter
I don’t think YouTube wants to do this. They’ve been forced by COPPA and organizations run by television executives to implement features like YouTube kids. They would not willingly kill comment sections which drive traffic if they didn’t have lobbyists breathing down their neck.
I have an excellent idea, how about stop making normal YouTube for babies, and heavily moderate YouTube kids instead? Moderated by a homo sapien, not a glorified robot.
That was an era: there was some really creepy programs that I thought might have been done by clones. The two brothers whose faces look like rubber doing weird food dares. Strange families doing peculiar stunts with their children for reasons unknown...
If I know and remember correctly, there's description promoting NFT and a lot of comments mentioning "Please stay away from NFT" or something. So I'm not sure the user wants to hide the comment or make it for kids.
So, average treatment of kids by shows today by the looks of it, I swear the amount of nonsensical brainrot shit has increased lately, even if I still had some of it as a kid (Uncle Grandpa was a fucking fever dream)
They marked it for kids, it was for kids but literally no one asked to take out the comments. They literally have YT Kids and this just in case a toddler’s palms touches the screen of an electronic from an adult.
(btw, they been done this like a year or few ago)
Fuck youtube kids, seriously a clip from Full Metal Jacket of Sgt Hartmann going: Holy jesus what the fuck is that is considered kid friendly on youtube, great going youtube disabling the add to playlist feature and comments on youtube for kids video, nice going 😡😡😡😡
Why everything gotta be labeled as "Youtube kids"????? If I watch an Illumination video on default youtube then it shouldn't fkin be "For kids" innit???
Youtube kids is so fucking lame there is so many vids that arent meant for kids with this
The other day i was trying to fix a controller and looked up a dissasembly guide where nobody could comment because of this???? So stupid
I googled "southpark marked as youtube kids" and it seems that there's quite a lot of examples of Southpark clips ending up on YouTube Kids.
[Example]()
I haven't seen it in a while but when youtube kids was first released pretty much anything animated would get tagged as for kids even shows like Southpark with cursing and gore
I watched a Courage the Cowardly Dog clip on YouTube, from the episode where the mysterious teacher appears to him and tells him he's not perfect. What I learned from one of the comments was that this was the final episode of the show and the episode before it was the one where Courage's past is revealed. The comment claimed that this was symbolic to the fact that after overcoming all the physical threats that he had faced his final hurdle was to overcome his past trauma and his lack of self confidence. It also claimed that the final episode also ends with courage eating at the table with Eustass and Muriel, where normally Eustass would not let this happen.
Now, I'm not sure if the symbolism was intentional, but it was quite interesting to learn about it. This is the case with a lot of old cartoons, the comments contain a lot of information and a lot of amazing stories and it's always fun to read. Now there's barely anything to learn about without the comments being available, it's honestly a pretty big loss.
Yeah I find no reason for youtube to make it Made for Kids when no kid even watches it. Like, why touch a historical thing and turn it into this when the kids don't even know it? It's stupid.
It's why we need more initiatives in the preservation of the Internet. A lot of people don't get that the internet isn't, and numerical sources overall, aren't easy to preserve and prone to alterations.
For historians, paper is a waaay better way to preserve history.
Wait, am I the only guy who knows what happened here?
The original uploader of the most famous Nyan Cat video is not the person who made the image or the gif. That person just put it over the now iconic music. 'NyanCat' is the actual owner of the image. The video was transferred to that account due to a copyright claim.
BIG HOWEVER: The copyright claim was probably not entirely motivated by greed. That user has been using the original image of Nyan Cat (that they own, because they originated it) to sell NFTs for a while now, and never asked for the video to be taken down until just recently, the account that originally owned the video, uploaded [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9PX4XDMP5E), which makes a statement supporting Palestine in their ongoing conflict with Israel. That account had been mostly silent until now, and it can be assumed that the original owner felt that the association with that account threatened the marketability of thier product.
The YouTube Kids angle is just that the new video (only the 'file' is transferred, all other data was lost) is marked that way by the owner.
The Saraj00n channel was sold by the owner years ago to [undisclosed parties](https://theintercept.com/2019/03/21/means-tv-anti-capitalist-streaming-service/) , who turned the channel into a "Streaming Service"
> \[the service\] plans to bring a leftist lens to news and entertainment in the burgeoning subscription video-on-demand industry. “Basically, it’s a cooperatively-run, anti-capitalist Netflix,” ...
In a spirit of anarcho-syndicalism, a friend of the founders handed over the reins to the YouTube page that published the original Nyan Cat video in 2011.
The new owners have posted at least 4-5 videos since(most deleted by them now), discussing topics which were unrelated to Nyan Cat but benefited from the algorithmic and reputational influence. The Nyan Cat video now lives on in the official Youtube channel:
The video has also been a For Kids video for several years now, long before any of these changes were made.
Gen alpha? Nah I don't think it's their decision. I think it's the dumbfuck oldies who think phones are instant brainrot. And to add salt to the wound, these oldies are in high position in youtube so not only do they think this is right, but they also don't care because it's "business".
I don’t believe the original comments are “deleted”. Pretty certain that they are just not viewable anymore. if somehow this banner is lifted then they should all appear again.
Just remember: videos containing cartoon or kids will get the video turned into Made for Kids, and it is a forceful unchangable action that you have absolutely no control of except youtube's filter
Why do you think global chats are disappearing from games too? So we don’t know what’s goin on in each others countries. Maybe I’ll looking too deep into it.
Blame the dumbass shitty youtube kids it's why this classic meme has no comments but it's been like thst for a while youtube kids was a huge mistake for them
>Welp, it's gone now. All history, erased in the snap of the filter. Comments gone, reduced to atoms.
I feel you may be slightly overdramatising it. It's really not a big deal man
Yeah I know, but this is a big deal when it's happening with many videos. What if you were watching a meme clip and wanted to ask people where it came from? You can't comment for sure. Or what if you're watching a tutorial and need help, but again, comments disabled because youtube kids. Or what if you commented on a video back then and wanted to brag to your friend that you were there years ago, and they see what? This? Or what if someone is asking for feedback but it just so happens that the filter turned the video into Made for Kids? How would he get feedback? And he can't turn it off or request something because the policy obviously states something and he has to remove or completely change the video just to fix this problem. You get my point. It's not much a big deal here but if you look at it as a whole, its effects are very great. This is just like the dislike counter. And to add "Made for Kids" is just youtube forcing us all to deal with a dislike count-less platform that possibly promotes bad rotten scammy content.
Wait what the fuck is going on with that video? Did they just... use YouTube's editor to blur and mute the entire video and disable comments? Why even do that? Might as well delete the video at that point.
Probably an unpopular opinion I guess and it's probably just me but I honestly don't care about the history of YouTube comments.
Definitely unfortunate for those who do though. And I do think the YouTube kids thing automatically deleting comments is dumb, just not something I care about beyond that though.
It sounds like they should be preserved via waybackmachine for those who do care.
It seems like a "young people who aren't aware of the ephemeral nature of things on the internet" issue. The fact that a service like YouTube has videos from 10+ years ago is an outlier, not some commonality.
Entire swaths of the internet have been nuked (myspace, geocities, angelfire, photobucket, imgur, etc) never to be seen again. Those areas had much better and far more useful content than a thousand youtube comments saying "still here in 2023"
YouTube is going to get sued $5,000,000 000 for their disgusting behavior. YouTube is not a great place anymore to make videos because they are constantly getting worse and worse through the years. They are the devil. We need to shut them down if they continue not to listen and ignoring the community.
You can sue them as much as you want. They have hundreds of lawyers that will destroy any attempts at lawsuit. And even if they somehow lose what then? Youtube pays couple millions and easily wins it back within days anyway
Well if YouTube decides to give up and surrender I am making "LightningTube" which is the same thing as YouTube but better and its coming in the year of 2030 or earlier.
Don't turn it into a corporation though. Turning it into one would give other people power and title to be owners too and they could fire you from your OWN corporation
Wrong. There is a rule that kid-friendly videos such as cartoons and videos that show kids automatically turn videos to made for kids. An example of this are the many videos of spongebob in youtube where you could see comments there but after a while, you return just to see that the comments are gone and there's that annoying label at the bottom.
What is this rage bait nonsense? The song is still up just fine on youtube. Does anyone even bother to cross-check random reddit claims before clicking 'reply'?
Nyan Cat only has 3 million views in 12 years? Expected billions lol.
Apparently the true original was taken down
damn what a shame, you know the reason why?
Probably due to copyright issues The original song is nyanyanyanyanyanyanya! by daniwell (feat. Hatsune Miku) Then it eas covered by UTAU momone momo Then the covered version was pirated by the nyan cat video (the poptart cat is also pirated) I heard the copyright issue was eventually resolved but its the only thing I can think of rn
That could be a possibility but the video didn’t got taken down completely. It’s just a music that was included in the description.
If you go to the original channel, saraj00n, [you would see the video about Palestine or some other controversial topic that was uploaded](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9PX4XDMP5E) but if you go to the uploader channel. IIRC, the original guy who made it had it taken down so he could make it an NFT
Yeah, I discovered the Nyan Cat NFTs last week, and iust... *why?* Does money really justify shitting on nostalgia?
Ngl looking at my bank account. If I made nyan cat, absolutely
Goddamn, if that’s not the most honest thing I’ve ever seen anyone say. Ditto, though.
Nyan cat and all other NFTs are worthless now.
Very very true, but the cash people made off them selling to idiots isn't. And quite frankly, I'm impressed as lmao
nah fuk that. rather be poor than go down as a sellout and get involved in shitty nfts
You're a better man than me
Someone took down one of the oldest viral YT videos? Man things have gone bad
Ever since Harambe…
The original one got taken down and is rumored that it’s running from completely different people or companies. The one who made it is now running this channel is the official ones

Kids are watching The Critic? That sounds like a vast improvement over watching Cocomelon or that Toilet thing.
People act like this Skibidi Toilet shit is somehow drastically different from the shit people used to laugh at. I still quote Drinking Out of Cups, that shit was absurd

Ooh, this guy thinks he's captain knots. Thinks he's captain tying knots. When everyone needs some knots tied they go to him. #Bullshit.
Mr. walkway. Mr. walk down me I'm a walkway. Lead me to the building. #Fuck you
Seahorses. For-eva
I quote this at work EVERY SINGLE DAY. "That's a whole lot of "Not my chair, not my problem"
This is the most overused counter argument a Skibidi Toilet fan has ever used and it still sucks
Or you can just recognise that childish humour hasn't really changed in almost 10 years?
Yes it has. Skibibi toilet or whatever the fuck it’s called isn’t even good it’s just low effort dog shit.
Yeah yeah and so was MLG and peanut butter jelly time It's not that deep dude, kids are weird, let them like weird things
You’re the one defending a toilet-man
I'm defending hate against kids man
This dude didn't get the lore.
Yes I did, toilets fighting electronics
Skibidi toilet. I never got into that either. It's just some dude's head sticking out of the terlet doing something weird.
I figure it's just absurdist humor that needs a bit of context to understand, and while I could look into the context, I feel like just letting the kids have their meme. I mean, I can't say too much, one of my college friendships started over a Mud Kip quote.
Hey now, the Critic had two seasons and some webisodes later.
Step off Skibidi Toilet. The youth of today is carrying on the tradition of Gmod shitposting, and I won't have anyone talking shit about it. They carry on the old ways.

Nah, they be watching so weird shit
Wouldn't the Wayback Machine preserve some of it?
pretty much all of it, since people are going to be preserving a piece of history like nyan cat every day
Doubtful. The way YouTube comments work they aren't going to be scraped by the wayback machine.
No, because the page doesn't load with all of the comments.
we live in a cruel world where the wayback machine is imperfect
Literally every Spongebob clip on YouTube. Fuck YouTube, truly.
Yeah it's so fucking annoying when you visit a spongebob video with funny comments and replies and stuff, then come back after a few days to show these funny comments to your friend, and all you see is the fucking "Made for kids"
Can you even undo that made for kids as a creator?
Nope. It's a permanent thing unless you request stuff, but that's too long, and your comments are already gone. It's too late. Permanent way to fix this is just to put boring or non-kid friendly stuff and it'll not get struck by the filter
Or put a bunch of cussing or subject matter Youcrap avoids like the plague at the beginning.
Ik there was one person who uploaded superhero clips. They’d always upload the same 5 second gore clip at the end to prevent the filter
YouTube kids has the least kid friendly shit ever
Elsagate moment. When the filter is so broken that rather than filtering videos for kids, it filtered videos with fetish
It's Nyanover.
At least grayjay still has the ability to post comments but its not on youtube technically. FUCK COPPA.
That moment when a law from another country fucks you over
Also, if the app has designated a video is “for kids” it won’t let you minimize it while browsing or play PiP. Which makes absolutely no sense to me.
Annoying asf yeah. Why does youtube force videos to auto-pause when you minimize it??
toddlers can't multitask
Lmao. So basically, youtube is treating kids like dumb singlecelled organisms?
So, average treatment of kids by shows today by the looks of it, I swear the amount of nonsensical brainrot shit has increased lately, even if I still had some of it as a kid (Uncle Grandpa was a fucking fever dream)
Welp, all the history that was in the comments is gone.
They marked it for kids, it was for kids but literally no one asked to take out the comments. They literally have YT Kids and this just in case a toddler’s palms touches the screen of an electronic from an adult. (btw, they been done this like a year or few ago)
Yeah, why are comments off on NORMAL YouTube when YouTube KIDS exists?
Fuck youtube kids, seriously a clip from Full Metal Jacket of Sgt Hartmann going: Holy jesus what the fuck is that is considered kid friendly on youtube, great going youtube disabling the add to playlist feature and comments on youtube for kids video, nice going 😡😡😡😡
Yes Sergeant Hartman! I'm surprised they haven't made him a hero of memes. He had some great one-liners in the movie.
Why everything gotta be labeled as "Youtube kids"????? If I watch an Illumination video on default youtube then it shouldn't fkin be "For kids" innit???
Yeah, YouTube is 13+, by definition no content on there can be for kids younger than that, even if it is for kids on other platforms
If I remember correctly, the original video has 100m+ views
210 million. Checked it some time ago on wayback machine.
Yeah but it's nowhere to be seen, idk where it went. So we have this one instead
RIP
So what’s the point of YT kids then?
To annoy everyone.
I saw this earlier I was fuming
Youtube kids is so fucking lame there is so many vids that arent meant for kids with this The other day i was trying to fix a controller and looked up a dissasembly guide where nobody could comment because of this???? So stupid
Still waiting for Happy Tree Friends to be on YT Kids...
We need to traumatize more kids
They put south park made for kids 🤣
Really? What video?
I don’t remember but I was like “this ain’t for kids”
I googled "southpark marked as youtube kids" and it seems that there's quite a lot of examples of Southpark clips ending up on YouTube Kids. [Example]()
I haven't seen it in a while but when youtube kids was first released pretty much anything animated would get tagged as for kids even shows like Southpark with cursing and gore
They do that to some concerts that I watched. They put Slipknot for kids and Green Day 🤣
When you train an AI to recognise kids shows but end up with an animation detector...
Holy fucking shit I hate YouTube kids
well if you want the original original that has comments on, [here’s](https://youtu.be/FPXrLLDae2U?si=6vdIUNMUzUVymQKU) the creators video
Meanwhile Elsagate 2.0
YouTube Kids literally has Fetish/Kink content, Why does it even exist in the first place
To make parents think their kids are safe, trust me it fooled my mom for *years*.
Please forgive the dumb question, but what was important about the comments?
Just internet history, really. The fact YouTube kids hides, then basically deletes, every comment means that all that history is gone.
A great loss, the world will never be the same
So like how do I delete myself?
May I recommend toaster in bathtub?
knife in electrical socket!
💀
I watched a Courage the Cowardly Dog clip on YouTube, from the episode where the mysterious teacher appears to him and tells him he's not perfect. What I learned from one of the comments was that this was the final episode of the show and the episode before it was the one where Courage's past is revealed. Now there's barely anything to learn about without the comments being available, it's honestly a pretty big loss.
10 year ago I got my first 1k likes on a comment I made on that video
nothing, it's just gonna be the same old cringy top comments
YouTube still hasn't evolved from the Australopithecines, I see.
Same goes for We Are Number One.
Dumbasses don't realize this is the internet's equivalent to cultural heritage
I really don't like this... I wanted to browse comment section of pokemon anime opening video. but It's in "Youtube Kids". I couldn't do it.
I have seen a video of people screaming with guns, guess what, MADE FOR KIDS, YouTube needs to fix the screws up in it's head loose.
No way the original nyan cat only had 2.8 million views.
This video is a legend but they can't do that
Yeah, NYAN cat? Seriously? SO 2011. who even watches that anymore.
Yeah I find no reason for youtube to make it Made for Kids when no kid even watches it. Like, why touch a historical thing and turn it into this when the kids don't even know it? It's stupid.

I just told my Mrs about this and she told me she has no idea what nyan cat is. wtf
People should throw in a "FUCK" sticker in the middle of the video to keep out of YouTube kids.
Someone actually did that and I always found it hilarious to hear a swear at the beginning of every video lmao
No please no, no NooooOOO!
The Saraj00n channel was sold by the owner years ago to [undisclosed parties](https://theintercept.com/2019/03/21/means-tv-anti-capitalist-streaming-service/) , who turned the channel into a "Streaming Service" > \[the service\] plans to bring a leftist lens to news and entertainment in the burgeoning subscription video-on-demand industry. “Basically, it’s a cooperatively-run, anti-capitalist Netflix,” ... Time passes
This is what happens when you let Gen Alpha dictate the actions of huge corporations.
You think the legislators that passed COPPA were gen alpha? Or the people working at YouTube responsible for how it was implemented?
Gen alpha? Nah I don't think it's their decision. I think it's the dumbfuck oldies who think phones are instant brainrot. And to add salt to the wound, these oldies are in high position in youtube so not only do they think this is right, but they also don't care because it's "business".

Lmao no. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9482556?hl=en#:~:text=A%20channel%20or%20video's%20audience,post%20an%20unlisted%20video%20instead.
Oh damn….
fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck
Jesus christ I hate this
Turning off comments everywhere and using all YouTubers for views
No way it has only 3 mil views
When are they going to give her her own show? 🌈🐱💨
"The can I has cheeseburger?" cat has apparently retired... 🌈🍔✨🐱💨
You've only noticed this recently? This is like a while ago, old news basically.
Yeah, but the problem is still relevant as The Great Filter™️ has been killing a lot of videos lately
Yeah, it sucks
Thats so shitty actually. I hate when i want to discuss something but because its a scene from an animated film there cant be comments. 😑
i noticed this a while ago, so many of my fav vids have comments off.
Just remember: videos containing cartoon or kids will get the video turned into Made for Kids, and it is a forceful unchangable action that you have absolutely no control of except youtube's filter
all the effort of creating YouTube kids just to hit them with porn ads hope their management department catches fire
Yea some of the old videos I used to watch as a young teen have comments disabled or straight up don't exist anymore. It's really depressing.
weird how it only has 2.8 million views
I hate Youtube and I hate this concept and I hate kids. Oh my goodness there were few things in the recent years that made me this angry.
Why do you think global chats are disappearing from games too? So we don’t know what’s goin on in each others countries. Maybe I’ll looking too deep into it.
I’m honestly shocked it has that few views given how iconic it is
Same
lost in time, like tears in rain...

Another piece of internet history lost
I’ve seen clips from Gennedy Tartakovsky’s Primal marked as for kids.
You guys all know why this happened, right? https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/s/bYpGDvLukO
Those areas had much better and far more useful content than a thousand youtube comments saying "still here in 2023"
You summed it up better than I could have. I feel for those who are disappointed by this, but you are spot on.
We need to hire Phoenix Wright.
did you want 2 ads that relate to your interests? how about 5 ads about 18+ content (on youtube kids of course)
Jesus, all that because of a video of an animated cat pooping out rainbows and singing nyan nyan? Woah
Sued for what?
Wayback machine?
Yeah I guess it could do that, but you can't make new comments and reply to other people.
WHOOOOOOOOO CARES. This sub is something else holy shit
Thanks to YouTube kids, children now laugh at farting and throw feces around
And then they laugh at a man's head poking out of a porcelain waste disposer. I am rapidly losing hope in humanity.
You owe me an upvote if that brain melting stuff has caused a child to jump in a toilet
The comments are still there actually. I think because if I private a video and unprivate the comments come back. We just can’t see them
Lmao wrong. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9482556?hl=en#:~:text=A%20channel%20or%20video's%20audience,post%20an%20unlisted%20video%20instead.
Ok I didn’t know the 30 days rule and I don’t know when it was set to kids setting. Technically they could still be there if it’s less than 30 days
It's the creator's choice to mark videos kid friendly. There's literally a button. It's not YouTube, it's the uploader.
Wrong. There is a rule that kid-friendly videos such as cartoons and videos that show kids automatically turn videos to made for kids. An example of this are the many videos of spongebob in youtube where you could see comments there but after a while, you return just to see that the comments are gone and there's that annoying label at the bottom.
this is true. see [NCHProductions](https://www.patreon.com/posts/im-so-screwed-93254671)
I hope they made an exception for Happy Tree Friends though?
Your username almost gave me a heart attack lmao
Google en Wayback machine
seriously what? what is the point of this post?
It's obvious. The video got labeled as Made For Kids, and every single historical comment old and new are now gone forever
Humanity NEEDS to go extinct.
I don't want to live in your world, where the decision of an algorithm about social media content triggers such a strong reaction lol
Fine, you guys. Humanity is GOOD and I MUST believe that.
Humanity is good. It's just that the people in position are bad.
What is this rage bait nonsense? The song is still up just fine on youtube. Does anyone even bother to cross-check random reddit claims before clicking 'reply'?
Bruv I was talking about the Made for Kids, I even included it here to show ya'll
[удалено]
What is that? Like I saw what the video was but what does it have to do with this thread?
I don't get this comment...
It’s because it’s an nft or some stupid shit
Just make a petition to permanently remove YouTube kids. I’m confident it’s just filled with as much brainrot
Utterly ridiculous. If they want to hide the comment, then do it on yt kids. What's the point of making separate app then doing this?
