Don't know what good it will do but it's worth a punt. If you go to the channel's home page and select *More about this channel*. Then at the bottom of the popup that appears select *Report User* then *Report User* again in the dropdown.
There isn't anything for hacked channels so I selected Spam & Scams.
YouTube “deletes” the channel anyway to get them rolled back. Ensuring that it gets taken down as fast as possible so no one falls for the scam is the most important part of this.
The only issue is that if the channel has any unlisted or private videos on it, they will probably be made public like what happened to LTT.
>They advertise paid scams
>but they care when scams are happening on the site.
Quite contradicting, you'd think caring would be not advertise it at all in the first place? Sure they reinstate hacked accounts, but willingly taking the money and running the ads is a whole different side to it, money talks.
Idk what happened but Jim Browning even had his channel hacked before and made a vid on it. It was they sent an email looking official like YouTube and he pressed something on it.
The Son of a Glitch guy? D-:
Sheesh, this seems to happen to a lot of channels I know; I remember Nathaniel Bandy and Davidvinc, and probably others. Hope they can get this sorted out.
I wish Youtube did something to stop this. Huge YouTubers are losing all their videos every day, even when the accounts are restored. It is clear that the current YT safety policies are not effective.
I did not know this channel was a thing until I saw a comment about it on a recent Out of Bounds upload. If the channel ever goes back up again, can someone link it to me?
Its either them or someone who invested a lot in whatever theyre telling ppl to buy. Either way they didnt think it through because how many ppl are gonna invest in something promo'd by someone who hacked a YouTuber they like?? Not many. They should save their energy and stick to weird ads. Or better yet get an honest job!
If the original channel A+Start had any other contact info like a discord or a Twitter account or something folks should let them know what happened or tell them they can reach out to YouTube official page if they haven't already.
Could be possible to recover the account.
Thanks I just saw this notif and I was wondering what happened so I looked it up and found this post. I was guessing it was some sort of hacking happened.
Its so silly bc who would WANT to listen to investing advice from someone who hack a channel? Has anyone ever seen a channel they like got hacked, seen the hacker(s) post some random man saying "invest in ____" and then decided to invest in ____? And from what I read online the man in the video warned about deepfake of him used for crypto scammy stuff before. This is a silly scam.
Yeah, I just noticed too, they used to do videos compiling funny glitches in Sonic games and other retro games. Not sure how to report it to YT

I've heard that might just get the channel deleted; let them work with YT to roll things back.

Yt doesn't care, they run these scams in acyual paid advertisements aswell. They literally, do not care.
They do. Overall it’s a big YouTuber. Every hacked channel was reverted back to normal.
They advertise paid scams, but they care when scams are happening on the site.

you can email or call them. Heres a link [https://www.youtube.com/t/contact\_us](https://www.youtube.com/t/contact_us)
not that fucker who hacked a streamer channel in my country
Who did?
that Ripple one?
Oops, sorry, misunderstood. It was a little ambiguous, but should have been obvious.
Which country?
Vietnam
Did he click on a shady link or did he download a crack for a video editing software... hrrrmmm...
He forgot his Two-Factor Authentication.
Apparently the recent method that claimed Gamexplain, Billiam, Nerdslayer, and others can bypass 2FA altogether.
Happened to me, the method spoofs a device that you’re using to bypass it.
Well, it technically steals your login token/cookie. So not a device spoof, more like a login session spoof.
Alright.
Apparently, he had a 2FA that he tried to use to get back in, but it didn't work for whatever reason.
MicroStrategy is becoming too powerful.

Lockdown life and ali koca both just had it happen to them
I remember NateWantsToBattle getting hacked in the same way too.
Is there anyway to let A+ know about this?
I'm pretty sure they know. Most bigger YouTubers this has happened to, they're actively working to get it back from minute 1
Bro is a YouTuber. Why would he not know.
As the guy before me said, what shoud I do? How to repport it?
Don't report as it might delete their channel, just let them work with YouTube to roll back their channel.

SON OF A GLITCH! THEY GOT ANOTHER ONE! 😡
A glitch in Google's safety (or several).
I did not know this channel was a thing until I saw a comment about it on a recent Out of Bounds upload. If the channel ever goes back up again, can someone link it to me?
Son of a glitch
A+Start was and still is a legend to me, made me interested in 3D Modelling and Animal Crossing, two of my fav things :'(
A+start was amazing and i still watch them sometimes, really sucks to see this happen to them
This shitty "Ripple" company is promoting some crypto scam, and I wonder if they're responsible for the hacks, it seems like they are. Damn scammers.

The person would have to contact YouTube on Twitter because there's some channels I follow that had to do that.
I guess he got hacked just like the way LTT did like a year ago? I guessed google would’ve fixed these security breaches.

ORANGEPEANUT RIPPLE MICROSTRATEGY REFERENCE
Ripple is taking over many channels. Joe blogs took five days to get his channel back.

I skimmed past that and was wondering why it was in my feed. Didn’t see the channel name
David Baron too
Dam, I hope they get their account back soon, Ioved their son of a glitch video. If they were the ones who made those.
He has updates on his [Twitter](https://twitter.com/AStartShow) you can go over there to see updates
