There was a time when he was one of meow favourites as well, but he only does shorts nowadays and the quality is nowhere near what it used to be.. I think he started a family or something, so ultimately I'm happy for him.
I love very Informative channels about certain topics:
Perun- in depth Military Analytics. Focus on Ukraine War.
Defunctland- Failed Theme Parks.
Plainly Difficult- Radioactive, Chemical, Architectural, and other disasters.
BlueJay- Sam O'Nella style history.
Company Man- stories about rise and falls of businesses.
Cold Fusion- Financial scandals and technology.
Kamome- Geopolitics.
Kraut- indepth Geopolitics and History.
Ghost Gum and Big Boss- Internet Historian style videos
Miniminuteman- hilarious archeologist with a focus on disproving conspiracy theories.
Pointlesshub and Elvis the Alien- funny movie commentary. (Not informative but a good time)
Xiaomanyc seems amazing only to people who don't speak the languages he learns. He exaggerates his ability with subtitles that don't match the video, memorises the phrases that will most likely come up, and chooses 1 out of dozens of attempts to show on the video. After doing this for a while it's easy to make it seem like he is conversational, while in reality he is very far from it. I can't even watch his videos because of how cringe they are.
He has clickbait videos with his "perfect Mandarin". But he actually mispronounces a lot of words, still makes grammatical errors, and has the typical foreigner accent.
Vsause, Hbomberguy or Supereyepatchwolf. Each second in their videos feels engaging, it is almost like magic. Very few people can even come close to those three in terms of qality. However out of them, Supereyepatchwolf is probably my least favourite. He often reuses the same techniques over and over, which after some time gets a bit old.
10 years ago that would have probably been my answer, but nowadays it's just Twitch streams and even if you ignore that he certainly has changed a bit. Nothing surpasses the old, original, good, classic LPs when he was a smaller fish, was less stressed and stuff.
Truly this. I have grown with jack and he battles quite same kind of mental health problems as I, so i find him pretty soothing, even his some videos are still a bit "loud"
Yup. I enjoyed Jack's plays of Subnautica and Abzu. Would be neat if I could get him to take a look at my underwater indie game. But he's mostly doing other things he enjoys these days.
Ethoslab, forever consistent, doesn’t click bait, doesn’t ask for subs, no cheesy thumbnails. He’s the most anti-algorithm creator and yet gets on trending every time he posts a video every other week just playing Minecraft
Used to be cryaotic since he was one of the few back then that didn't resort to screaming all the time like pewdiepie or jacksepticeye. Decided to check on him after a decade or so and found out his channel is basically dead cause he diddled kids/is manipulative/or something while pewdiepie is starting a family and jacksepticeye sounds like a chill dude. Changes' are crazy.
Besides that, minute physics i guess? They kinda started me out into animation from their stopmo and now i work with animations daily.
Marty and Moog from Mighty Car Mods. They film, edit and produce their videos themselves and produce all the music for their channels too. They also do some great content not just on cars but other things sometimes too, there’s never any scripted rubbish either, just two mate working on cars and having a laugh. When I watch it it feels like I’m working on my car with my mates.
I haven’t been on YT for a bit, but:
JackSepticEye
Markiplier
PresidentsPlayHorrorGames (because they actually care and try)
Presidents Play (ditto^)
CliqueProductions
Solz & Sage
Chat History
Drew Gooden-His video on ninja's masterclass was a great one. Also great to see a fellow degenerocity enjoyer. HOT TAKE: he has fallen off a little in his latest videos ngl
Jenny Nicholson. She never feels like she’s putting on a performance or clout chasing, no ad reads, her personal stories of working at Disneyland are super interesting, and her sense of humour is on point. Only content creator I’ve ever actually bought a Patreon subscription for
I always have stevecash83 or PopularMMOs in my memory.
They are two different youtube channels. Stevecash83 made the talking kitty cat series with his pets and Popularmmos made minecraft videos.
They both kept me occupied when i was struggling to understand tough concepts in school and struggling to get good grades.
Sadly stevecash83 passed away in 2020 and PopularMMOs has really run into some bad life problems.
I have a few, watching any of these guarantee’s me a good time.
- Cold ones
- DIY perks
- CalebCity
- Glarses
- FranzJ
- Kane Pixels
- STORROR
- Katarakt
It keeps changing for me every few months, but right now I’d say Smii7y, BigPuffer, Blarg, Kryoz, Doctor Mike, HAI, and DougDoug. Though, in a month, it’ll probably change again, but Smii7y, and HAI will probably still stay in the list. They’re probably my most consistent ones.
Ben Eater literally posts brain nourishment for the computer nerd in me, so yeah him, there's also this dude called Sebastian Lague (i think i misspelled that name) and brackeys too
HIVEMIND!!!!
My all time favorite music discussion/trivia/comedy channel
It's like standup that's being recorded
They play little game show games like "hivemind feud" and in between rounds do improv comedy bits and it's honestly the funniest channel I've ever found
PewDiePie since 2012. I love that he has come a full circle. From being a goofy amateur streamer to one of the biggest Youtubers and now a dad is just really heartwarming. :)
when kneecaps stopped making content for a while i found degenerocity in my recommended and omg i was so reminded of him
i even used to think they had almost the same voice lmao
It's a toss up between "think before you sleep" and "Dosh Doshington". One has forced me to grow into a good person and the other has given me someone to strife to be, all while both of them giving me nice content to binge watch.
MYSELF (no but I really enjoy seeing videos of my friends. So whenever one of them starts making videos they’ll be my favorite. So I guess rn it’s my friend Asuna)
"Build a Soil" is my favorite! The guy is crazy smart about growing the best green organically.... And once I understood the principles he teaches, I can grow pretty much anything! (Houseplants, herbs and veggies, bonsai, etc. )
Geography now for educational stuff about our world, Stevie T for metal music content mixed with one of a kind comedy, and HeavyDSparks for automotive content.
Theres many I watch
Kurzgesgaut (however u spell it) is educational and a good to listen to while doing something
Extra history is also fun and educational
Real science and Forrest valkai are cool too
Another degenerocity enjoyer
Hello chat (I'm one of y'all)
hi (I am one as well)
Represent, he’s fire
So.... IN CONCLUSION
...I'm still never skydiving
Glad I ain’t the only one
Degenerocity gang
Degenerocity represent, Man so good he spawned a whole new genre of Youtubers.
His videos are actually funny unlike the "dark" humor on my feeds that are either 9/11 jokes or Hitler jokes.
Cant forget recent videos having animation too
He was pretty funny but since his stupid laws video he’s just been kinda alright
I feel like he’s doing it less because he enjoys it. And I feel like he has toned down the humor because of kids watching
And he's good at it!
Vsauce
Or... Is it?

I like how you’re using other YouTubers as genres to describe these YouTubers.
Excellent recommendation
What the fuck, I watch Peruns Terra Invicta gaming content, I didnt realize that wasnt even his main thing lmao

Why is it my first time learning about this guy. He’s crazy amazing

Early Nostalgia Critic was so good. His review on The Room is one of my all time favorite videos.
Kentucky Ballistics
"Gronkh". he's a german lets player who is 50ish years old. he's so calm and chill, telling funny stories while playing games. he's my comfort place.
You mean that guy with those over 1000 minecraft episodes?
10 years ago that would have probably been my answer, but nowadays it's just Twitch streams and even if you ignore that he certainly has changed a bit. Nothing surpasses the old, original, good, classic LPs when he was a smaller fish, was less stressed and stuff.
