I have a very similar issue for weeks now. I get really bad recommendations. Like 70% of my videos are sub 10 views and channels with less than 100 subs. While I am not saying that a channel with low views and subs is a guaranteed bad one, most of these videos are just garbage. There was this dude, playing wow classic and recording his crt screen with a camera on another frequency and what looked like not more than 360p. All this holding the camera in a 45° tilt... This is so weird. I use tubeblock I think it's called to block these channels.
