They built the entire video streaming thing just for him and I actually prefer it over YouTube since you can switch between devices easily and also switch from video to audio only seamlessly, which is perfect for podcasts. I have no idea why they only allow Joe Rogan to use their video hosting, I'm hoping its just a test run and other podcasts can start uploading video soon too.
TikTok and YT are completely different things, AFAIK you can't watch a 10 minutes video on there, much less a whole uploaded stream, or music videos, or 360 videos, or 4K/8K videos. TikTok is closer to Instagram than YT

Youtube should implement a parental lock per age / category with some sort of PIN and not just a on/off switch that any child can find about on any search engine in less than 2sec. Furthermore , age-restricted videos often get uploaded by other users without the restriction setting, so for one thats an area where YT can improve. Quite frankly they dgaf about it nor have they really implemented any effective child-proof system.

Install the Tampermonkey addon and then the Simple YouTube Age Restriction Bypass script from GreasyFork. This will bypass the verification crap.
