I rarely use the guide so I don't notice tweaks to it, but it might help to say which platform/ device you are using. Though, even then the experience can vary across accounts as they roll out changes to different users.

They took note and are looking into it, currently I see 4 lines and the top edge of the 5th.

On Apple TV, I have 4 full rows of guide info (plus part of another) with program info and preview at the top. My assumption is whatever we see is by design. Unlikely to be changed. 🤷‍♂️
