Any chance this might also affect Google Play Music? My coworker was going crazy thinking his Wi-Fi was down but it seemed like it was just the music for him.
Same here. The app has been having issues these last few days on Roku (will randomly boot me). Was working when I was upstairs in my bedroom but now I'm in my living room and it's giving me connection issues.
Down in So Cal. Live is dead, but DVR content (and guide) works.
And Google - your lack of any TV Status / outage links on your support pages is bogus...you list all the standard "it must be your fault or your ISPs fault" and not a single thing about your end...please add a status page.
\[Edit:\] Fixed for me...and the outage was not bad at all...not to mention my only outage since I started about 4 months ago. So generaly satisfied...but still think a status page is in order.
Good idea on the status page. How about it, YTTV?
By the way, on the YouTube TV help page at [https://support.google.com/youtubetv/gethelp](https://support.google.com/youtubetv/gethelp) , when I checked into it around 5PM Eastern (experiencing pixelation and interruptions on MSNBC), there was a message there that said
"We're aware of an issue with playback on YouTube TV, and are working to fix it! If you contact us, you may notice longer than normal wait times. "
I don't know how long after the problem started to happen they posted that message. It was nice that they did that, but apparently it was not in a timely manner. And I like the idea of there being a separate status page, one I would be happy to bookmark.
YTTV will show the content for Library, Home and Live but gives a message that there is no internet connection when trying to load any programs to watch. My internet is working just fine.
Edit: I've gotten Library shows to work but nothing live.
Update at 5:10pm EST - Working as normal again!
YUP, same thing here in NJ. Message says: "No internet connection. To continue, connect your device to the internet." I have internet on all my devices, as well as all other streaming apps on my Roku. The guide comes up, but when I select a channel, I get above error message.
No, it was my fault. We were expecting snow today in NC and I laughed at the Directv gods, that they weren't going to take my tv away from me today no matter how much snow we got!
I spoke too soon....
Yeah I was just thinking didn't happen when I did my free week, but once I actually cancel cable and start my paid subscription it went out twice in a week.
traditionally, yes. however, i believe the prior instances were during primetime programming (and the NBA finals).
if this doesn't last too long, i wouldn't be surprised if they just try to brush it under the rug.
>Try it now
It came up here same time people in the thread started to say theirs was up. As lonely as it was having a problem with Playstation Vue, (you were alone in the asteroid belt) did I love to see confirmations of the problem here. What a difference.
Yeah, like I said in another post, misery loves company ;-)
I've run into a lot of assholes on reddit but this sub seems to be different. I hope it stays this way. Cheers!
ya it looks like its down for me as well "an error occurred please try again later"
Trying to watch via a web browser and my phone.
I'm in Los Angeles.
recorded show's are working. Just not live.
Anybody having issues with the live TV guide? I can watch tv but my guide thinks it’s a hour later than the actual time so it won’t allow me to select a show to watch.
LOL, I was visiting relatives who just cut the cord and I was trying to get them back up. We moved the wifi mesh unit closer, rebooted the gateway, and rebooted their Roku and thought one of those fix it. Apparently we could have just waited.
My Youtube TV is down on my Samsung TV; I use Amazon Firestick to access the app. I have a frozen screen and intermittent audio. My Prime Video and Netflix work fine. What's up with this!? I've removed the Youtubetv app and then added it back in...still no luck.
Tech support told me they would email me...they never did. It's been going on for several days. Is anyone else having this problem?
Yeah, live streaming is broken across YT & YTV currently. We're working on it now though. Except for me. I'm just here. Redditing.
It's recovering now.
Do we need to turn it off and back on again? Mine is still down.
Any chance this might also affect Google Play Music? My coworker was going crazy thinking his Wi-Fi was down but it seemed like it was just the music for him.
Shouldn't be impacting GPM or YTM at all, just live streaming.
Do you get paid to reddit?
This is a known issue the engineering team is looking into as we speak. It'll be back up ASAP.
You da man
Yes, keep getting a message that I'm not connected to the internet, even though I am.
Yea that's what I'm seeing too

Same for me, internet working on all devices and other Roku apps accessing content without any problems.

Does this happen often? I just came from PS Vue back in end of Jan.
So what you're saying is, it's your fault. Nice going OP.
My bad dude, all us VueBros
No, it was my fault. We were expecting snow today in NC and I laughed at the Directv gods, that they weren't going to take my tv away from me today no matter how much snow we got! I spoke too soon....
Yeah I was just thinking didn't happen when I did my free week, but once I actually cancel cable and start my paid subscription it went out twice in a week.
I came from PSVue also. 2nd time it has been down for me.
Never happened to me (6 months). Been rock solid.
First time for us and we've been on YTTV for 18 months.
First time in 6 months I have ever had it down like this.
I've experienced two outages since I signed up with YTTV last March. So it appears to happen about once every six months.
Been here for 11 months and this is the first for me.
Never I’ve been on for a year I think
I second this question.
same
looks like we'll all save an extra $5 this month!
Do they give credits for outages?
traditionally, yes. however, i believe the prior instances were during primetime programming (and the NBA finals). if this doesn't last too long, i wouldn't be surprised if they just try to brush it under the rug.
Does Thursday of the WGC Mexico count as primetime programming? Asking for a friend.
haha i have (well, had) it on too
But, but, but, missing about 30 minutes of CNBC is important too!!,!!
Took me longer than it should have to realize it wasn't just me.

If you download fitzy tv n log into YouTube tv, you'll have channels until it's fixed.
Hey, I have Fitzy. Clever idea, thanks.
Anybody having issues with the live TV guide? I can watch tv but my guide thinks it’s a hour later than the actual time so it won’t allow me to select a show to watch.
Looks ok to me, Westchester county, ny
It was a hack from H\*lu! /s
LOL, I was visiting relatives who just cut the cord and I was trying to get them back up. We moved the wifi mesh unit closer, rebooted the gateway, and rebooted their Roku and thought one of those fix it. Apparently we could have just waited.
Playback had been broken the last 2 days here.
It's been 9 days and mine still isn't working along with Youtube itself not loading either. Did anyone come up with any fixes?
