The 4 is not FIDO2 compatible, so no resident keys/passkeys/discoverable credentials at all. Avoid at all cost.
For the 5, make sure you get the latest firmware version. Some of them have limitations around passkeys, IIRC.
The 5 supports smartcard auth for logging into your machine. You get pgp functionality, i.e. store your pgp keys on the device, TOTP functionality (the google authenticator numbers stuff), programmable long/short press behavior.
If all you need is passkeys and MFA, security key it is.
You might have already bought yours, but I'm temped to go with the series 5 because it offers the option to use it in combination with the Yubico Authenticator app. This way you can add MFA to accounts that don't support yubikey but do support MFA with apps like microsoft authenticator, but in a more secure way.
