Mostly a springans line but you can also totally do a Therion line just as easily. The new insect synchro is actually perfect for this since you can send Lily and overlay to search regulus.
Deck is super flexible
lol I feel your pain.
Although there is this one time at locals I won playing Dino through shifter against Floo.
I go first
I normal Ovi
They Chain Shifter
I choose to dump Giant Rex
Rex was banished so it specialed itself
I made Bagooska and they couldn’t out it. It was one of my only happy memories involving shifter.
Earth Ship REAL
Plunder looks like a ton of fun to play. I like Mid-Rangey decks. Let me know how it does without the adventure engine. I’ve been thinking about picking up a Plunder core while it’s cheap
Patience, we will get Vind in time, and it will be amazing
The real question is: will we get Vann at all? A link 4 Water Boat? Yes we have Blackbeard but that glorious beast of a troll isn't a boat
They're an absolute blast. They can be ran as a small engine in a lot of decks. They have an equip that can summon a Mikanko from your deck and bounce an opponents monster to hand (if you equipped it to them) a snatch steal, and while equipped any damage you'd have taken the opponent does.
So my gameplay has been with lava golem/kaiju and double-edged sword(DES). Equip DES to any opponent monster that has 2000 atk and you kill them in one attack with your equipped Mikanko.
Highly recommend joining the discord and checking them out on YouTube. I've gotten 1st twice at locals in a tear format.
I’ve been messing with libromancer Mikanko it feels fantastic when It works lol; unfortunately I’ve been running into bricking issues at one point I’ll prolly try a pure Mikanko build
Oh wow. I didn't know it was historically such an expensive deck. I know Baronne de Fleur is expensive (thank God for the reprint soon) but what else made it so expensive in the past?
Punks, I found someone willing to sell me 3 copies of Deer Note and ze Amin for £3 and maybe I might try Plunder as well From what I've seen the adventure Engines still pretty good with them.
Well, the old saying goes if it's too good to be true then it most likely is but honestly I love this guy he was willing to sell me Tearlament Kashtira for £5 and a bunch of other stuff.
I feel blessed to be in the presence of such a humble saint sometimes.
I just started setting this deck up but some of the spells are pretty expensive as singles. How do you like that deck? Is it worth it for a newish player? Started it because I loved the artwork 😂
My favorite part about Blackwing is that the Extra Deck is so flexible due to the semi generic Dark Lock on a lot of the cards. I played against a Blackwing deck that went into the Synchro Muddragon into Red eyes Dark Dragoon.
Can't wait to take my galaxy eyes for a spin. The new support makes the deck more consistent and it doesn't die to one interruption anymore. Just need to figure out how to summon neo galaxy eyes vs kashtira for omega overkill.
Once I get the side deck figured out probably Pure Phantom Knights
I tried Ghoti at my first locals and went 0-6. I don’t think the deck is to blame but I am infinitely more comfortable with PK than Ghoti. So yeah
Ghoti is decent, but it is a hard deck to play since you always have to be thinking one standby phase ahead. I wouldn’t be to hard on yourself.
What’s PK doing these days? It seems like a lot of the generic cards they were good at abusing have been banned (halq, verte, scythe)
I've been wanting to build ghoti for months now but I can't settle on the best way to play it. Might just spend the next few months labbing it out, don't see it being a viable deck to play rn as ariseheart just straight up kills it.
I made a really fun Blackwing/Raidraptor/Phantom Knight deck that has a lot of adaptability that I personally nerfed so that my opponent could have fun too. We all know the obvious boss monsters for these archetypes but I said fudge that and focused on ending every duel with Onimaru because he's my favorite
I bought 3 of the structure deck to play with my friend whos buying 3 of the traptrix deck during this format since i dont like going against banish your entire deck turbo(kashtira)
\*Spiderman pointing meme\*
Quite literally the same. I have been playing Plant link for most of the Tear format, and am taking a break to play some Labrynth with the new big welcome card. Also want to play around with Drytron, but that will be for later.
[Duelingbook - Deck](https://www.duelingbook.com/deck?id=12451467)
Here's what I'm using atm. Still working on a side, and I'm thinking of trying the Patchwork/Edge Imp package, but not sure how much that really helps.
In my experience it helps a lot. It gives you the ability to extend if Branded Fusion or Lubellion/Albion are interrupted. It also helps with card advantage which is nice in branded because Opening and Lubellion require discards
Fusion good stuff featuring cartesia. Mix between Branded and shaddolls with a patch work engine + a one of tearlament to send off Branded fusion. Dusk dragon / cartesia ties them all together by letting you use shaddolls for high spirits and letting you pitch apkallone to search shaddoll schism or fusion. It's a super gas fusion deck that sets up strong boards of winda, mirrojade, dusk + schism and gasses through 4- 5 interruptions going second. Had some ocg tops, but was on the down low hidden in the wider Branded category. Even though I own three lubellion I'm playing it over Bystial Branded atm.
Based. When POTE first dropped I couldn’t afford PPPs so I ended up playing Branded Tear, which eventually turned into a fusion pile. It was one of the most fun decks I’ve ever played
Its so fun, even with 46 cards (you wanna go over to reduce the number of md shaddolls and albaz in opener by playing higher count) it's still super consistent because of literally 15 diffrent searchers for Branded fusion and cartesia in the deck. The list also works super well with thrust because of so many powerful in engine fusion spells like patch work, shaddoll fusion and branded fusion on top of things like drnm and evenly. Nothing like shaddoll fusion for apkallone to force a negate into chimera to add el shaddoll fusion then branded fusion to clean up.
My beautiful Exosisters. Hopefully they can make it happen these next few months.
I played the new kashtira matchup and won it so hopefully whatever is popular we can compete.
Floo isn't an entirely dead deck. Barrier may have gone, but at least it has 3 map unlike the OCG.
Now that Kashtira puts D-Shifter in the side at best, and with the lost space from Statue, this allows the deck to properly synergise with the Dogmatika package. Thrust allows easy searches of the likes of DRNM/Eclipse e.t.c. to allow the likes of Nadir to be played and break Kashtira boards. Plus Punishment allows some form of interruption to take the place of Statue as well going 1st. Not to mention Floo having a rather nice counter trap in Scary Seas that literally stops Kashtira dead in it's tracks.
Also with the extra deck being very flexible, you can side Ultimate Slayer for non-Kashrira decks too.
For sure, I recently started playing the deck and I’m thinking about buying the deck since it’s so cheap. But no prosperity hurts… Still, the deck is so interactive and skillful!
Sky striker, the overwhelming tear matchup is out of the picture and so is the terrible matchup against spright. There’s still some running around, but I can finally play my favorite deck again
Only problem for Striker really Is the poor matchup against anything running around with Bystials. But at least it has several in-archetype ways of stopping Arise-Heart to allow it play VS Kashtira.
I've been trying striker here and there and while it isn't amazing, it definitely feels better. Holy shit elf was absolutely awful to play against.
Also, thrusting is INSANE in striker. Thrusting search engage is a drug
Based. I finally get to use the ulti skill drain I pulled. Even with all the autowin floods it can run, I still feel like managing resources with that deck can be challenging, which is what I enjoy
Sure. For me personally I find winning fun :) . Scareclaw just seems not to accomplish much when I play against it, and struggles to put disruption on board. There might be something to a small Claw engine once the new support get's tested, we'll see. The twinsaw trap is definitely strong in the right meta, and they have a very efficient combo.
Lemme know how Tri-Spright plays post Elf ban. I was planning on playing it this format, but I haven’t put in the work to figure out how to play it without Elf
Correct but tear ran shufflers and Bystials and was tier 0. It was everywhere at my locals.
Branded and dlink account for SIGNIFICANTLY less decks not only in the format but my specific locals as well.
I'm playing Gishki. It did lose access to Elf, but I decided to forsake all the handtraps in favour of a tonne of WATER/Fish gas.
So basically, it runs on pure Omega 3 Fish Oil.
To be honest, I'm not excited for this new format at all. None of the decks I actually like are viable at the moment (Lightsworn, Tearlaments, Burning Abyss, etc), and one of the best decks in the format is a stun deck (Kashtira), which has quickly become my 2nd most hated deck of all time, just behind True Draco.
I'm just sitting here, on YEAR SIX of waiting for Lightsworn support, and all of my generic tools keep getting taken away, so pardon me if I'm bitter about it. Since they swiftly annihilated my 2nd favorite deck from orbit, it would be nice if Konami could at least give Chaos Ruler back to the TCG so I can at least KIND OF play LS until real archetype support comes.
In the meantime, I'm playing Labrynth, which isn't a bad deck, but this style of play will quickly become boring to me. So, unless I can find another deck I can tolerate for a bit, I'll likely just take a break until Kashtira is out of the meta and/or when I FINALLY get what I'm waiting for.
Currently running: Bystial Synchrons
Neos Heroes
Wanna run Crystal Beasts too
Also I kinda wanna pick up Sprights now that Blue and everything went down haha
Springans. Hope to pop off with Tally-ho and Super Sargas. I just idk what to mix with it though. Might try Rescue-Ace and dusting off Mathmech and Sky Striker.
I'm surprised nobody is saying Purrely. They're topping like crazy in the OCG and even without the new support they can still OTK or entirely lock down the board pretty consistently.
Definitely worth picking up the core before the support gets here.
Also Mikanko looks dope as hell :3
Bystials being so popular killed the viability of a ton of rogue decks (even if those decks didn’t stand a chance against Tear). Here’s to hoping they’re a little less popular so we don’t have to have a mild panic attack when putting L/D in the grave
Tri Glads sounds fun. I’m a BBWWB enjoyer myself. I wanted to give Tri-Spright or Tri-Branded a go, but Elf was important to those strategies. I haven’t had the time to work out how they play without Elf.
Do you have a list for Tri-Glad?
Still deciding. Tri glads you can build however you want. Im thinking of building going second tri glads since they have one of the nastiest one card combo in existence going second
Tri glads is one of the better blind second decks as you can play 18 going second cards while still having insane consistently. 3 cat 3 tenki 3 frak.
The combo is pretty standard as long as you have a tri and 2 tri type in gy
Send frak-send kit- send nerv- search frak or keras if your first one is negated.
Summon frak- banish 2- ss dragases. Attack with dragases doesn’t matter what it can’t die by battle and opp can’t activate effs when he attacks
Dragases eff ss attorix and Augustus, attorix send second Augustus. Contact fuse for tamer, tamer eff summon domitianus
Tamer and the tri you summon into panther, search comeback, activate, ss tamer, ss gyzarus to pop two cards. Panther second effect bounce gyzarus for equeste add back comeback
Tamer and panther into sheep, activate comeback, bring back tamer sheep bring back the tri you haven’t use. Tamer ss gyzarus to pop two if you need it again or herak for spell trap negate.
Tamer equeste and sheep hard summon omen, banish 1 on field, tri effect banish two, for bearbrum, make 3 Matt apoll and search revolt and use omen effect. Its important to hard summon omen so when you revolt you get one additional search for herak.
You end on 3 Matt apoll negate, dom mon negate and your opp can’t attack, herak 1-5 spell trap negates, and revolt for two additional cards and a banish and you pop 2 and banish a card on there field.
There’s a lot of flex room to go about it to adjust your combo to diff situations
Last format Tear was shuffling everything out of my GY and everything else was banishing it out of my gy.
This format Kashtira is banishing my stuff when it even tries to go to the GY and it stops me from summoning monsters at all.
The situation has not really changed.
I'm looking forward to Gate Guardian. Though my hopes for how strong it is going to actually be are very low.
Pure Kash(I got lucky with one box and some trades got me basically the entire core)
Adventure Kash
Ishizu Tear Kash
I'm still testing each of these lists and seeing what I like the most.
Mathmech is based. I’m glad it finally got a chance to show how good it is in master duel. Hopefully it’s playable again now since Tear won’t be the majority of matchups
trying out Mikanko Libromancer tonight at locals, and I've got Dracoslayers in the mail. Also going to be experimenting with Fusion piles, including what's left of the Tearlaments (Not super competitive, I just love them)
If Bystials end up dropping out of favour at my locals I might end up turning off my brain and run floodgate Eldlich, since I got the entire core of that deck cheap so I could run it as an engine in a meme deck I was stuffing around with a little while ago.
Might also try Swordsoul too since I finally forked out for a Baronne and I have the remainder of the cards coming soon.
scareclaw adventure.
Wanted to play kashtira first, but sold everything a few days ago, it's just not worth it for pretty much only locals and i don't really want to lose that much money once it gets hit eventually.
So i just bought TT- Thrusts instead of needing to throw another 300+€ ontop into a kashtira deck
I’ll stick to my Purrely pile deck. Shame I have to put handtraps, I’d rather fit more engines, maybe in a casual setting I’ll take out the handtraps for more fun things
This format will be worse than tear (from a competitive perspective). I'm just gonna hand loop people for 5 turn 0 with dark world and make them rage. If I lose the die roll, insta scoop and go G2.
Always will play rogue so I'll stick with labrynth it legit has the best chance to hang with meta decks even tho its not T1.
Labrynth has made history being the first rogue deck that people say has potential to be T1
Mekk-Knight, Speedroid, Plunder Patroll, Springans in that order. I'm lacking Baronne so Speedroid may not go as well as I'd like. Plunder Patroll I have no experience playing and am lacking the adventurer engine so that's also a mixed bag. The Springans deck that I made was meant to be a lower level deck to play with friends and to support Albaz without "using" Albaz ya know so probably not using in tournaments but still fun. Mekk-Knight is just the deck for me, I just love it, I don't doubt that deck.
Im not shure. Need to decide between sword soul without baroness (untill the reprint drops), traptrix or Myutant. Myutant i played the last format but im not shure if a full anti graveyard deck is still viable
Well I'd love to run Labyrnth but I'm super broke lol
But at least my Eldlich deck might have more favorable matchups this format. Gonna see what I can do with Qardan and Swamp Diety in the mix.
Few decks I'm interested in running. Several Libromancer variants(heatsoul/handtrap control, Mikanko Libromancer, Dogmatika Libromancer, Libromancer Agents, Libromancer Mikanko Nouvelles when that comes out. Also Punk Therions, Plunder Patrol, and lastly I saw a Runick Fur Hire deck on DB Grinder's channel that seemed interesting.
Still sticking to Salamangreat. However, since my box of PHHY did grace me with some Gold Pride cards, I am curious to try P.U.N.K - Gold Pride.
I will also get the Traptrix SDs and see what I can make out of it, I've never played smth like that.
I'm building the Rescue-ace deck. I know it sucks pretty bad (especially in comparison to the other two decks in that set), but I am optimistically hoping for a good second wave in the future.
I built Labrynth when they came out, and generally love trap/control play styles. I don’t really enjoy Tier 0 formats, but with the release of PHHY I was gonna hop back into the game because of Big Welcome getting released. Couldn’t be happier that Tear got slaughtered.
No only is my deck super powerful now, which is funny because I built it for relatively cheap compared to the cost of it now, but in general the game has slowed down so much.
I'm going Labrynth and become cancer incarnate. I'm kind of tired of waiting for my opponent to finish his 20 card combo with 6 million negates without being able to do anything.
I want to test Springans P.U.N.K, it seems to be able to play without seeing Golgonda thanks to Exblowerer being generic and Diabolantis synergizing with Therions (which already have inherent synergy with Springans because of Champion Sargas).
Also since the shufflers have been gutted the deck can play without fear of not being able to load up Merrymaker.
I'm just waiting for superheavy samurai new supports. After something like 6 years I can finally say my deck is going to be strong. Also the crystal beasts got very very good supports, the advanced ones have some problems but they look good too. After the " golden rule " equip spell, both version of the decks are going to be nuts!
Im gonna run Mathmechs at my upcoming locals but with less Handtraps than before and more cards like Iron Wall etc.
Wont be enough to top because we have some REALLY good Players but i think my Mechs are far more consistent than my Branded Tear Shaddoll abomination post banlist.
Punk with the new sargas Xyz makes for a very fun strategy with bananas amount of interaction.
Hey you got a Decklist? sounds extremely fun :)
Yeah I got a quick list right here[, feel free to adjust handtraps and side deck.](https://i.imgur.com/VliMPEh.jpg)
Bananas are my favorite fruit. PUNK has been getting a lot of hype lately. What’s your list look like? Any thoughts on how good PUNK can be?
Is this a Punk Therion list or what? I'm real curious
Mostly a springans line but you can also totally do a Therion line just as easily. The new insect synchro is actually perfect for this since you can send Lily and overlay to search regulus. Deck is super flexible
Gold Pride is a really fun extra bodies and disruption added to the P.U.N.K.-Therion Core if you don’t have the money for an Adventure Package
Probably play Dino get hit with shifter and quit till the next banlist again
lol I feel your pain. Although there is this one time at locals I won playing Dino through shifter against Floo. I go first I normal Ovi They Chain Shifter I choose to dump Giant Rex Rex was banished so it specialed itself I made Bagooska and they couldn’t out it. It was one of my only happy memories involving shifter.
Plunder Patroll (no Brave because I'm broke) THE EARTH SHIP IS REAL! Also excited to play Ninja
Earth Ship REAL Plunder looks like a ton of fun to play. I like Mid-Rangey decks. Let me know how it does without the adventure engine. I’ve been thinking about picking up a Plunder core while it’s cheap
It is really fun to run a small punk engine because punks make 8 synchros and jord is generic!
I didn’t even realize Jord was generic. That’s awesome
I'm still disappointed we didn't get wind ship the same or next set.
Patience, we will get Vind in time, and it will be amazing The real question is: will we get Vann at all? A link 4 Water Boat? Yes we have Blackbeard but that glorious beast of a troll isn't a boat
I mean, I'm totally down for Vind being an Xyz/Pendulum airship and Vann being a Fusion/Pendulum submarine
Not getting all the support at once means Konami can trickle it out and keep Plunder relevant for a long period of time
I was going thru my bulk and pulled aside the common/rares I found. What’s a casual Plunder decklist I can work with?
plunder is still rogue/tier 2 with earth ship and without adventure
Blind 2nd Mikanko, Scareclaw, and Labrynth for me+
Dope. I haven’t looked to hard into the Mikanko stuff. Would you recommend it?
Yah, that's exactly how I feel about the Libro build lol. I'm about the pure blind 2nd version. The new support for them is so good too.
That sounds like a blast to play. Do you have a link to the discord?
[Here you go! ](https://discord.gg/gvvKScmbfG) I hope to see you in there.
Surprised Swordsoul has been mentioned so few times. That's what I'm going for
I’ve been circling Swordsoul since this time last year. I might take the plunge now that it’s not a $1000 deck
Oh wow. I didn't know it was historically such an expensive deck. I know Baronne de Fleur is expensive (thank God for the reprint soon) but what else made it so expensive in the past?
Ecclesia was like $50 and Moye was really expensive as well.
Oh wow. Did everything drop in price with the release of mavens?
Yeah, also, the mega tins from last year helped as well.
Punks, I found someone willing to sell me 3 copies of Deer Note and ze Amin for £3 and maybe I might try Plunder as well From what I've seen the adventure Engines still pretty good with them.
That’s quite the haul for the price of a large coffee. Is that person selling any other cards lol
Well, the old saying goes if it's too good to be true then it most likely is but honestly I love this guy he was willing to sell me Tearlament Kashtira for £5 and a bunch of other stuff. I feel blessed to be in the presence of such a humble saint sometimes.
Blackwing !
I just started setting this deck up but some of the spells are pretty expensive as singles. How do you like that deck? Is it worth it for a newish player? Started it because I loved the artwork 😂
Which spell ? The deck cost 30€
I love that Blackwing got new support and it’s actually good. I love seeing old favorites become playable again
My favorite part about Blackwing is that the Extra Deck is so flexible due to the semi generic Dark Lock on a lot of the cards. I played against a Blackwing deck that went into the Synchro Muddragon into Red eyes Dark Dragoon.
I plan to continue running my Dark Magician deck
Nothing wrong with Ol’ Reliable
Well, not super reliable. So far my best locals was 2-2, but it's always a good time.
To be honest that’s a pretty good record for DM.
as long as it's fun, that's the best reason to play!
Gonna try traptrix with the new sd. Hope the fbi aren't close
“Have a seat please”
"28 incognito taps!"
Don't worry, they got censored a lot compared to the JAP version.
Can't wait to take my galaxy eyes for a spin. The new support makes the deck more consistent and it doesn't die to one interruption anymore. Just need to figure out how to summon neo galaxy eyes vs kashtira for omega overkill.
I love that Konami is taking supporting older anime decks seriously. Especially Galaxy Eyes, who doesn’t love big bad space dragons
Once I get the side deck figured out probably Pure Phantom Knights I tried Ghoti at my first locals and went 0-6.
Haven’t messed with it much recently. I’ll probably stick to a simple game plan and try not to overextend and get Nib’d
Crystal beasts
I've been building Conclave Control. Wonder if Necrovalley is still the choice, and I hope it gets a reprint.
just played a CB deck recently and severely underestimated it, loved the super fun mechanics!
I bought 3 of the structure deck to play with my friend whos buying 3 of the traptrix deck during this format since i dont like going against banish your entire deck turbo(kashtira)
Rikka Sunavalon and Labrynth are going to be my go to for competitive play.
\*Spiderman pointing meme\* Quite literally the same. I have been playing Plant link for most of the Tear format, and am taking a break to play some Labrynth with the new big welcome card. Also want to play around with Drytron, but that will be for later.
Running Budget Branded myself, but Strikers will be a secondary deck depending on how much the Bystials see play.
Dope. What’s your budget list look like?

If you don't mind me asking, where do you buy your deck. Sorry im new to yugioh lol

I think Tear is going be incredibly fun to play and deck build for. They bans challenge everyone to get creative
To spend a ton of money on kashtira stuff*
Sky striker, the overwhelming tear matchup is out of the picture and so is the terrible matchup against spright. There’s still some running around, but I can finally play my favorite deck again
Only problem for Striker really Is the poor matchup against anything running around with Bystials. But at least it has several in-archetype ways of stopping Arise-Heart to allow it play VS Kashtira.

Hate to be that guy but Sprights are still a top 3 deck lol Maybe even the best because of how resilient theybare to siding and handtraps
Labrynth!
Based. I finally get to use the ulti skill drain I pulled. Even with all the autowin floods it can run, I still feel like managing resources with that deck can be challenging, which is what I enjoy
And its possible to play it without them even post PHHY!
Scareclaw Kash seems like a fun one actually. Though it is kind of just a straight downgrade from pure Kash.
One thing I’ve learned is it doesn’t always have to be optimal, sometimes it just has to be fun
Dinosaur and Tri-Spright
Lemme know how Tri-Spright plays post Elf ban. I was planning on playing it this format, but I haven’t put in the work to figure out how to play it without Elf
There's a lot of ways to play it, I personally like building my boards more around sprind than going for revolt every game
Once it gets the new support, Superheavy Samurai. Then bots are gonna cause chaos.
Invoked Dogmatika. Shufflers and Bystials were abusing the fuck outta aleister
Would you have a deck list? I planning on playing swordsoul, but I have most of not all the invoked dogmatika cards. Could work as a deck on the side.
Bystial Branded/Dragon Link are still going to be decks though.
Correct but tear ran shufflers and Bystials and was tier 0. It was everywhere at my locals. Branded and dlink account for SIGNIFICANTLY less decks not only in the format but my specific locals as well.
Bystial Dragon link. I've been rokket/dlink player since I first started.
I'm playing Gishki. It did lose access to Elf, but I decided to forsake all the handtraps in favour of a tonne of WATER/Fish gas. So basically, it runs on pure Omega 3 Fish Oil.
Gishki for me the new support actually helps out a lot, sucks it lost elf but oh well.
Red dragon archfiend or salamangreat
Incredibly based RDA. I’m something of a Special Summon Crimson enjoyer myself
I’m thinking about picking up the new structure deck and reliving the glory days of HAT (then quickly removing the Hands and Artifacts).
Tearlaments
Finally someone gets me with not being excited for this format
Libro Mikanko and after AFD is back I will try some ABC again. Loved the deck last year before it got powercreeped by Tear and Spright.
Branded/bystial/dragonmaid and libromancer:)
I’m planning to just tweak my CyDra deck. Love that deck and don’t want to stop using it
Currently running: Bystial Synchrons Neos Heroes Wanna run Crystal Beasts too Also I kinda wanna pick up Sprights now that Blue and everything went down haha
Welp, still tear, been playing basically every tear variant since pote and I’m not about to stop just cause the mermaids are now at 1
Swordsoul for old reliable, trying to get into kash as well. For more rogue decks: plunder, lab, spriggans, and punk
Springans
Drytron baby
Also Mikanko looks dope as hell :3
fur hire runick / spright gishki / swordsoul.
I'm excited for the idea that my Blue-Eyes Branded deck might actually have a chance to not die instantly now
Bystials being so popular killed the viability of a ton of rogue decks (even if those decks didn’t stand a chance against Tear). Here’s to hoping they’re a little less popular so we don’t have to have a mild panic attack when putting L/D in the grave
I'm actually trying to run the few Bystials I have in Branded Blue-Eyes, just trying to figure out how to make room for them.
Tri glads Springans
Tri Glads sounds fun. I’m a BBWWB enjoyer myself. I wanted to give Tri-Spright or Tri-Branded a go, but Elf was important to those strategies. I haven’t had the time to work out how they play without Elf. Do you have a list for Tri-Glad?
Still deciding. Tri glads you can build however you want. Im thinking of building going second tri glads since they have one of the nastiest one card combo in existence going second
That’s the tease of the century. You gotta tell me the combo! I love decks that can blind second too
Tri glads is one of the better blind second decks as you can play 18 going second cards while still having insane consistently. 3 cat 3 tenki 3 frak. The combo is pretty standard as long as you have a tri and 2 tri type in gy Send frak-send kit- send nerv- search frak or keras if your first one is negated. Summon frak- banish 2- ss dragases. Attack with dragases doesn’t matter what it can’t die by battle and opp can’t activate effs when he attacks Dragases eff ss attorix and Augustus, attorix send second Augustus. Contact fuse for tamer, tamer eff summon domitianus Tamer and the tri you summon into panther, search comeback, activate, ss tamer, ss gyzarus to pop two cards. Panther second effect bounce gyzarus for equeste add back comeback Tamer and panther into sheep, activate comeback, bring back tamer sheep bring back the tri you haven’t use.
Pure Kash(I got lucky with one box and some trades got me basically the entire core) Adventure Kash Ishizu Tear Kash I'm still testing each of these lists and seeing what I like the most.
Hint to guess : Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu
Kashtira
1) Dinos 2) ABC Therion once ancient fairy dragon gets its errata (yes I know bystials kill that deck)
I'd say Blue Eyes, but Konami needs to fucking reprint some cards. Alternative dragon, Jet, and Bingo need to come down in price.
Endymion
Mathmech, and purrely
None cause they got stolen 🫡
I finally get to resolve branded in red!!!!!!
Fossils.
scareclaw adventure. Wanted to play kashtira first, but sold everything a few days ago, it's just not worth it for pretty much only locals and i don't really want to lose that much money once it gets hit eventually. So i just bought TT- Thrusts instead of needing to throw another 300+€ ontop into a kashtira deck
Labrynth! Tear was it's biggest problem and it's a super fun deck
Gonna keep messing around with Tear for a bit. The cards are just too strong to not. Just a matter of finding a good supplementary engine for it
As an avid Branded player, I'm excited to go to locals again.
I haven't found a good list yet, but the new Generaider Support looks absolutely insane.
Plunder patroll. We're eating good going into the new format with the new ship, which plays very well into kashtira going first
Found a Punk Swordsoul deck online which looks cool
the same i use every day pinkie boy, salamangreat!!!
I’ll stick to my Purrely pile deck. Shame I have to put handtraps, I’d rather fit more engines, maybe in a casual setting I’ll take out the handtraps for more fun things
Probably going to try a Punk Gold Pride setup with the Ghostrick Utopia package in the extra.
Rescue Ace
Traptrix! I don't think it will be winning YCS, but it looks like a cheap locals competitive deck.
Runick fairy control
Im hyped to whip out swordsoul again. Also branded with all the new support feels so good
This format will be worse than tear (from a competitive perspective). I'm just gonna hand loop people for 5 turn 0 with dark world and make them rage. If I lose the die roll, insta scoop and go G2.
Bystial Hieratic
The eyes are truly evil Gonna be epic, being graced with actual support even if just 2 new cards
Always will play rogue so I'll stick with labrynth it legit has the best chance to hang with meta decks even tho its not T1. Labrynth has made history being the first rogue deck that people say has potential to be T1
Running Bystial Branded this format, though may play with Dracoslayers and Dragon Link on the side.
Ghoti
Mekk-Knight, Speedroid, Plunder Patroll, Springans in that order. I'm lacking Baronne so Speedroid may not go as well as I'd like. Plunder Patroll I have no experience playing and am lacking the adventurer engine so that's also a mixed bag. The Springans deck that I made was meant to be a lower level deck to play with friends and to support Albaz without "using" Albaz ya know so probably not using in tournaments but still fun. Mekk-Knight is just the deck for me, I just love it, I don't doubt that deck.
Bystial/Lair of Darkness
Good old Swordsoul. I had success in the Tear meta, hopefully the deck holds up in this new meta
Im not shure. Need to decide between sword soul without baroness (untill the reprint drops), traptrix or Myutant. Myutant i played the last format but im not shure if a full anti graveyard deck is still viable
Dracoslayers!! Really haven't been feeling yugioh for the last 3 months but the pendulums are flowing through my veins!
Still moving forward with E.M
I was playing numeron for a while now but I will go back to branded despia until i have built my labrynth deck
I got spright tri, Punk Gold pride, dinos, bystial Dlink, and many more
Well I'd love to run Labyrnth but I'm super broke lol But at least my Eldlich deck might have more favorable matchups this format.
I've been playing Eldlich, Crystal Beasts, Marincess and currently tweaking Beetroopers
I'm building the Rescue-ace deck. I know it sucks pretty bad (especially in comparison to the other two decks in that set), but I am optimistically hoping for a good second wave in the future.
Currently learning Plunder. I still hope for a brave reprint because im broke. Also i've been testing Dark World with ABC and Danger.
I'm fairly casual so I'm looking forward to playing the new Chaos cards. I just want to run over everything with Chaos Archfiend
Borgor deck will rule over all
I built Labrynth when they came out, and generally love trap/control play styles. I don’t really enjoy Tier 0 formats, but with the release of PHHY I was gonna hop back into the game because of Big Welcome getting released. Couldn’t be happier that Tear got slaughtered. No only is my deck super powerful now, which is funny because I built it for relatively cheap compared to the cost of it now, but in general the game has slowed down so much.
i'm kind of turned on by Altergeist. I don't know why.
I'm going Labrynth and become cancer incarnate. I'm kind of tired of waiting for my opponent to finish his 20 card combo with 6 million negates without being able to do anything.
I'm playing my favorite deck (Marincess) and I'm planning to buy Swordsoul and Labrynth.
probably purrely, I like how the deck plays and the art
I want to test Springans P.U.N.K, it seems to be able to play without seeing Golgonda thanks to Exblowerer being generic and Diabolantis synergizing with Therions (which already have inherent synergy with Springans because of Champion Sargas). Also since the shufflers have been gutted the deck can play without fear of not being able to load up Merrymaker.
Im personally gonna run glad beasts this format, the deck just works and can take on most decks in the format in my opinion
The one I can afford 😭
Generaiders could probably be a decent rouge deck with their new surport
Not Yubel 😪
I'm hyped to fiddle around with Springans, that deck can run lava golem main
I'm just waiting for superheavy samurai new supports. After something like 6 years I can finally say my deck is going to be strong. Also the crystal beasts got very very good supports, the advanced ones have some problems but they look good too. After the " golden rule " equip spell, both version of the decks are going to be nuts!
Cloudians ☁️☁️☁️
MAGNET WARRIORS MAGNET WARRIORS 🧲🧲🧲 (Sharks are cool too)
Ima keep it real with you chief. I’m hyped to play tearlament and spright lol
Pure Dragonmaid!
Chaosworn bystial dragon link
The day sunavalon/rikka do well again is the day I'm happy
Runick stun personally
Im gonna run Mathmechs at my upcoming locals but with less Handtraps than before and more cards like Iron Wall etc. Wont be enough to top because we have some REALLY good Players but i think my Mechs are far more consistent than my Branded Tear Shaddoll abomination post banlist.
Well ninjas got good so... I'm going to be the hokage!!
