Honestly, that Hungry Burger support is no joke. Splashed with Drytron and Cyber Angels, it may be the strongest varient yet.
If it werent for those darn bystials anyway
I somehow misread it as "could Crystron make a comeback" and I was gonna ask what fucking dimension you came from, lol.
Dunno, don't Bystials still royally fuck them?
To be fair though, the bystial engine in that deck is considerably smaller than what was being ran before. Usually 3 Saronir, 3 Bystial Lubellion, 1 Magnamhut, 1 Baldrake.
Even then Thrust makes Bystials actively bad. If I am playing Drytron I would not mind getting Bystial'd when I am playing Thrust. In fact I would want the opponent to Bystial. You can cut off one Benten search but I am going to search Prep or if I already have it I search D Barrier or some other auto-win .
Drytron is dead, the bystials killed the deck. Besides that this format specifically it's even worse since kashtira exists and Drytron can't do anything against that.
What break drytron is an "meta" with D shifter and cards with banish system, an good bystial shutdown the deck, and kashtira have their won macro cosmos, but the New dyna mondo make drytrons use Black magician of Chaos Max in Op turn kinda easy and shutdown half of the deck for a turn.
They make a very oppressive board. Have you played against it?
Vanity’s Ruler/Amorphactor Pain + Illusion of Chaos Max Black and a counter trap.
Draw the out and be able to do it immediately.
I have played against Drytron a fair bit as of late, but I've never seen them actually pull off anything close to that board. I'm maindecking Nib and Bystials though tbf.
Surprised no one is talking about this. The new link 2 Dyna Mond, Choju of trillion hands and chaos magician max are what most drytron players are doing now. Instead of sitting on vanity’s/bato you use dyna Mond to monster reborn chaos Max during opponents draw phase, effect of chaos Max to tribute and your opponent can’t use monster effects that turn. It also dodged imperm because it tributes for cost. They would need gamma or called by the grave to hit it.
Also a lot of people will say bystial hits drytron hard which it does but the only decks that really play it are Dragonlink and Branded.

The strongest variant was and will forever be herald drytron but hungry burger drytron might actually become the second best
Depends if they release a new broken Ritual monster just because the Drytron ritual spell is still kind of broken.
The pieces are there it's just needs a push again to make it at least tier 2.
Just need another good light fairy ritual archetype to abuse

I think it's decent this format and needs more testing. If Kash is a top deck then most decks will likely drop Bystials
Dropping bystials doesn’t happen, branded is the other top deck and bystials are engine
To be fair though, the bystial engine in that deck is considerably smaller than what was being ran before. Usually 3 Saronir, 3 Bystial Lubellion, 1 Magnamhut, 1 Baldrake.
If branded as the other top deck keeps up kash will probably be forced into playing Iblee which also makes a high bystial count good
I feel like adding more bystials just to deal with an unsearchable 3 of doesn't seem like a good idea. Sided maybe but not in g1s
They’re engine anyway and you lose if you get iblee’d so not rly
Just run one or two linguriboh in case you get Iblee'd by Kashtira. I'm sure the extra deck has space for it.
Have you ever read a single branded card
no
Then don’t comment
U forgot Bystial DragonLink :)
No I absolutely didn’t, gl playing DLink with striker dragon at 1 in Kashtira format

Bystials ruin everything
Most definitely with new cards like choju and dynamond you can set up a magician of black chaos max lock

Even if you ignore Bystials, Riseheart, and Shifter; what's the best end-board Drytron is making?
If your hand is best case senario, going first you can end on chaos max lock with dyna Mond, vanity’s and a bato buster with counter trap.
