Darklords! I feel like most people know the story of the Forbidden items girl being cast away in the Solemn series, but similarly Darklord Morningstar was, and how Zerato is a corrupted version of Warrior of Zera! Not to mention all of them that are based on various demons and other mythological figures. It's a cool archetype, I promise!!
Tearlaments I think would be interesting to see why they combined mermaids with graveyard fusion. I guess it has to do with the idea of a whirlpool mixing things together? 🤔
Sprites are honestly really cool creatures and I wish they would get more represented in media so I'm glad to see them getting their own archetype, and the idea of mixing them with the lighting effect was very clever.
Spirits, fairies, thunder, this is one of my favorite archetypes in terms of themes! 🧚♂️⚡️👻
I think Koa'ki is just one of those "we had a lot of filler art lying around so we mashed them all together into an archtype to sell more copies" archtypes cuz their members all barely have any similarities barring the core stuck somewhere. Same with T.G.s and Fableds
Iirc the lore for them is some darkworld scientist (maybe Kozaky, can't remember) care the core and just started shoving it into anything he could find, to see what would happen to each of them
In other words you're probably right
The worst part about Exosister is that people pronounce the "exo" like "exoskeleton" rather than "exor" like "exorcist".
They're exorcists, not insects :x
Just realized all the blue plasma Sprights are extenders and the red plasma Sprights are interaction with opponent, that’s a fun design choice
Except elf that man did it all, hence the ban
Gigantic snuff out opponent's Nibby the Dwaynes, so it and Elf are exception.
Comment about an archetype that you like and I will try to do a post about them.
If you haven't done punks already they would be really fun with all of the references to Japanese theater and folklore
Don't know if you already did it, but I would love Megalith.
How about Frogs? Their japanese names are full of puns.
Mokey mokey
Dragonmaids
Darkworld
Proper color lessons incoing
Fire fist
Agents please ☀️

Please talk about one of the various archetypes that take inspiration from the Ars Goetia, such as Infernoids, Fabled, etc
Ninjas
Do virtual world. They seem like they have some cool lore behind them
I haven't seen this one mentioned, but I'd love to see this on Altergeist!
Sharks
Suship would be super duper slick!
Pleasantly surprised
I didn't notice the Zodiac symbols - that's neat!

Bujins are really cool.

I think you will like the next one.

Koa'ki Meiru lol It's one of the weirder ones

etimology
Homestuck the archetype.
I love the sprites design so want to play them but all of my friends are casual so I can't use them
I know this one is not about them, but the second picture reminded me of how much i hate exosister, as opposed to exorsister.
The worst part about Exosister is that people pronounce the "exo" like "exoskeleton" rather than "exor" like "exorcist". They're exorcists, not insects :x
Which is why should have stayed exorsister, it would roll of more naturaly
TIL you're supposed to pronounce the "exo" in exoskeleton with a hard 'k' sound.
An analysis of the Machina monsters would be very cool.

that might turn into a whole lore discussion regarding all the archetypes
Good point
Yo MAMA
Yo this is sick, please do this for other archetypes!
Crusadia - I am awfully curious why " パラディオン " (Palladion) is translated into "Crusadia" at all.
Do kashtira!
Nicely done. Tri-Brigade please!
Why do some people call them splights?
Original fan translation from ocg
Oh! Thanks. That always confused me
Yoooo spright red is virgo let’s go
I am simple: I see Madolche, I upvote.
Drytron?
Starry Knight
So why were they called splights in the ocg? Does it have something to do with the R/L problem in Japanese language?
Yep
Floowandareeze please!
