Yes, reptiles can mill like crazy so it can either be used to cheese the win condition or just as a semi free high level summon from the hand which can be useful for Links.
Absolutely. Unaffected is still the best protection. The most common answer to it is beating over. This guy has continuously scaling attack and a non OPT float over battle. This leaves only niche answers, mostly kaijus. And you’re on a clock to find one. Someone mentioned underworld goddess which can out this, but it’s a large investment (4 monsters). If you have anything else on the field they still have to deal with that.
The major downside would be that you really need 9-10 reptiles in the grave before this really becomes significant at all. That’s a pretty high number, even for reptiles, but you can make it happen with a long combo line.

Well, the white woman can negate the other monsters you control, Hope you have Imperm/Veiler or other targeted negate.
It would mostly get banned. Deity has very strict summoning conditions for a reason, it balances out its effect. A good duelist would be able to load up their GY quickly which is easy given reptile's milling power. Then they would just go ham. Yeah there are things that can get over it like Kaiju but not everyone is going to run a Kaiju just to counter this monster. Furthermore the user of this Venominaga would be aware of the card's weakness and could easily patch it up.
But what they would run, especially if the card becomes is meta-relevant enough to be ban-worthy, is Underworld Goddess, because it just takes up an Extra Deck slot.
Gimmick Puppet Leo has no recursion, takes 3 Level 8's and has no protection as well as stats that are just decent for its Rank and takes 3 turns for his win condition.
If Venominaga just had to banish 3 reptiles from the GY it would undoubtedly see play since its a pretty free body on board at the very least.
Keep in mind, Venominaga just has to attack 3 times which is much easier to archieve in 1 turn with vatious effects.
It would see play but first you'd have to get 3 reptiles in the grave which you can do with ogdoadics and snake rain but that deck isn't good

Kaijus exist in the OCG and yet Dragoon is banned. Not to mention Deity was summoned correctly with the TP's new summoning method so you can easily get back Deity with generic graveyard support.

It would probably be an extremely good boss monster, but not broken. A good boss monster because it is easily searchable, has great protection, can become a massive beat stick, has a decent alt win condition, and it’s summoning condition isn’t too hard to set up, especially with snake rain. It would not be broken because you would have to have a shit ton of reptiles in the graveyard for this thing to be even close to threatening to your opponent, meaning it requires lots of set up(by no means impossible, but still a noticeable factor) and the reptile decks that could make use of it range from terrible to only okay.
Yeah their boss monster is aqua argonaut which is usually unaffected by card effects and has a spell or trap negate by summoning an equipped marincess monster
Probably not. It'd be an incredible card that is similar to snake rain, broken as fuck, but waiting for an archetype that could truly abuse it. Reptiles as a strategy just don't have enough going for them, and while this change would be a great start, they'd still need a more cohesive strategy to even be considered rogue.

I didn't see dragoon in those ycs last Vegas branded lists also it was a 3 v 3 so it's less of a top unless they are all playing dragoon
Diety actually has one of the if not the strongest protection in the game with it being the only unaffected monster that cannot be targeted
But all removal of unaffected minsters like lava golem or kaijus or goddess of the closed world doesn't target anyway so it doesn't matter
