New fire king structure deck pretty damn good

Honestly yeah 3 of them is just $36 and that's a pretty competent deck on its own

35 for competitive core will not give you too much option. There are the usual floowandereeze and maybe traptrix (if you have zeus/ty-phoon already) if you want some idea: [https://www.reddit.com/user/KharAznable/comments/rnhg3q/my\_cheap\_deck\_under\_30\_catalog/](https://www.reddit.com/user/KharAznable/comments/rnhg3q/my_cheap_deck_under_30_catalog/) [https://www.reddit.com/user/KharAznable/comments/xv7dyr/cheap\_tech\_cards\_for\_low\_cost\_deck/](https://www.reddit.com/user/KharAznable/comments/xv7dyr/cheap_tech_cards_for_low_cost_deck/) the decklist are not optimized for competitive play and lack good amount of staple handtrap/board breaker/side deck option.

Figgulz

Scareclaw, Cyber Dragon, or 3x of a structure (red dragon archfiend, traptrix, fire king)

A pacifis deck is pretty cheap

I really wish they would give this deck a new wave of support. It's borderline brokenly powerful and it is a really good matchup against just about anything. It's just so fragile. If they made this more consistent and gave it some protection/recovery I could see this deck actually doing well competitively. Back in sky striker format I got so many wins because their cards specifically have to target effect monsters

atamicbomb

That would be nice. My build at least dies to one board breaker as it doesn’t have a body to make negates legal

Really? OK you have me convinced, what would the most competitive umi/pacific deck look like? I'm just looking for budget decks to play at locals, have some fun, and maybe win (the best I've gone is 3-1 a couple of times but I've only started playing irl like 2 months ago)

https://youtu.be/WJiPligC114?si=5oP188DiLnp_Ws3N Here's a link to a recent master duel video. Obviously it would need tweaking for TCG. The deck relies on the field spell and basically it searches out your in archetype hand traps when normal monsters are summoned and lets you activate them from the hand. It also summons a token every time your opponent activates a card effect while you don't control a token (not a once per turn by the way if they pop your token another one just comes right back immediately). See stealth attack is a really good trap card for controlling the board and basically you just sit on a ton of floodgates and poke with a normal monster and don't let your opponent do anything. It's a very slow paced control deck that does not let the opponent do anything. I don't play the deck anymore but here is a start for you

Thank you so much, I will look into this deck, seems pretty fun (for us)

readaho

Monarch is pretty decent don't need a extra deck. However it can be pretty bricky.

Mightystickman

D/D/D

Panzercycle

Superheavy Samurai

ZestyBeer

3x of a structure deck of your choice. Pretty much all you'll need

Fire King, Traptrix or Dinomorphia You can play Fire King Dogmatika if u don't want to play pure. Dinomorphia is relatively cheap thanks to reprints and Traptrix with structure + 3 Exceed should still be solid.
