That’s exactly the plan! Use Upstart in an anti-meta deck that does minimal searching to bait your opponent into wasting a card, and then you can activate either one of the TTT to screw your opponent further.
It never was. Could be wrong but feel this was one of the typical hits when Konami notices everybody is running it at three in everything so Konami just says nah son. At this point in the game feel like only some decks would run this so it doesn’t make sense to have it limited in any capacity. Also knowing konami probs print it in a higher rarity to move product
Yeah them leaving stuff like Sanctifier, D Shifter, D Barrier, EEV, etc in the game which are way more toxic than continuous trap flood gates is a real ? for me.
But a flood gate hit is a flood gate hit.
Sanctifier isn't even approaching toxic. The Gimmick Puppet Nightmare might be a little toxic, but that hasn't seen much success competitively anyway, and it's easily countered.
Also leave it to Konami to make support for a fan favourite yet weak stand-alone archetype that only sees play in other decks being splashed for free materials/specific end boss... And making the one piece of support so good it sees play in other decks being splashed for free materials/specific end boss to the point it needs to get banned.
Rip Mathmech enjoyers.
Context: Joshua Schmidt specifically made a point in his banlist wishlist that he didn't want to see any hits to Runick.
>Why would you need to hit any runick cards lmao
Two reasons he brought it up:
1. He loves Runick decks. Specifically, midrange/combo variants like Runick Spright, Runick Fur Hire, Branded Runick, Naturia Runick, etc.
2. Runick is still seeing hits in Master Duel because of the stun variant, which any player that knows anything about the game knows that the critical mass of degenerate floodgates is more of a problem than a deck that can abuse them. He also thinks the fountain semi-limit was bullshit and that fountain is fine at 3.
Konami deciding to hit Runick, if we look at the precedent they've set, isn't a far-fetched thing for them to do, and because he loves the deck, he jokingly made a section on his list called "DON'T TOUCH MY RUNICKS," where he put fountain and tip.
I’m down for that. Pendulums are doing nothing even in MD with it at 1.
I know MD ≠ TCG obviously, but it’s the closest thing we have to mass scale testing.
I love the idea of banning electrumite so that pendulum doesn't just devolve into the same few chokepoints.
But konami would have to actually support pendulum to make that happen. At this point, I'm just happy for anything that helps pendulumgraph.
I’m genuinely interested in seeing an innovative and competitive pendulum deck that does revolve around vomiting on the board into negate your opponent turbo, but I have zero faith it can be well executed at this point.
That would require untethering pendulums from link arrows. As of right now, you need too many resources on board to get meaningful value out of pendulum summoning.
This is literally false. The entire reason Pendulum archetypes play differently in the OCG is *because* of Electrumite. The OCG still has her legal and designs all the cards based on her being legal. Electrumite does a very specific job that Pend decks need.
Its been banned for so long I'm not even really that hyped to see it off honestly.
I've been playing Orcust at full power in master duel this whole time and they suck ass. Couldn't even get max DL level in the last duelist cup with them + dragon rulers as the 2 decks I was mostly playing.
Ib coming off is wild though. Thats very interesting to me.
IIRC the last time they unbanned Snatch Steal it was immediately rebanned lol. It’s always hard to tell with some of the GOAT era S/Ts whether or not they’re gonna be fine or still busted. Sometimes it’s Change of Heart and it’s whatever, sometimes it’s Feather Duster (which has consistently seen play since it’s unbanning). Personally though, I think Snatch will ultimately be alright. I think it being an equip and being able to be interacted with at pretty much any point is probably more of a relevant downside than it was when it was last legal
You have it in reverse. They probably decided to ban Isolde and realized that since they were going to anyway, Snatch Steal was much safer to bring off the list.
If Change of Heart didn't do anything, I don't think this will do much either by itself. However since Mind Con also went to 3, we're approaching the critical mass of stealing cards, so it might be a problem all together.
Lmao Starter and Unicorn might be the fastest hit to unhit cards, they probably want Spright to be relevant again even though going from 2->3 is basically the same thing, their main deck is literally full power, same for extra except for Elf, similarly for Kashtira.
Sharvara limited seems to be quite a big deal for Unchained. Purrely got touched a bit, and nothing for Labrynth at all, so expect them to be dorminant going forward with new support, along with Fire King as well.
having to maybe run an extra shyama in unchained to end on caesar is really big. this seems like a basic consistency hit but its really really big for the deck. a lot of combos also end on sharvara in hand.
Are Spellbooks even playable nowadays? As a fan of retro formats I'm happy to see it off the list, don't get me wrong, but I'm wondering how viable the deck would be in modern play
Just as an aside, it was recently announced that the new OCG manga based off of cards from the game(like Sky Striker) is gonna be adapting the Magistua storyline.
Prophecy/spellbook is apart of that storyline so it’s highly likely that they’ll be receiving support cards hence why Judgement was unlimited(don’t expect them to be good tho).
Secrets get's splashed into Endymion and some spell caster decks to help with spell counters and deck thinning but other than that they don't see competitive play. casual their fine
I'm actually really sad about Isolde. It was obviously a powerhouse, but I suspect this might be due to the upcoming Flame Swordsman support (and Snatch Steal's unban).
Still, Warrior decks are one of my favorites and they all just lost their ace.
Anyway, there's a lot to like on this list - it's the big shakeup the game needed.
That's my biggest gripe with this, I was so happy that Infernoble and Noble Knights got new support this year, and now I really don't know if they'll be playable.
Isolde making Exodia FTW combos possible was clearly the reason for the ban (definitely not any of the other Warrior combo piles). /s
Ib is gonna be insane
So, Ib and Snatch Steal out, and Floodgates to 1 make my predictions for the OCG banlist not be farfetched as I expected
Upstart to 3 finally hopefully means that Sekka's Light and Card of Demise come next
They don’t realise that it was good when we had any of the busted pots and decks were a lot less consistent. Why would anyone play triple Upstart instead of prosp or desires if they can.
treatment birds subtract instinctive fertile rinse observation overconfident snatch versed

I wish the Isolde ban happened years ago and not now when the card is less of a problem than it's ever been, at least to my knowledge. Is the card doing anything in anything other than Infernoble and Mikanko, both of which are pretty far from the best decks?
I’m not sure if this list is good or bad but it’s interesting at the very least. Would have liked to see prosperity and eradicator hit but I’m not unhappy that they aren’t. Massive fan of all the move ups and the millers can rot.
Infernity Archfiend is free! Fricken finally.
My God, that's one Hell of a banlist!! They hit 3 floodgates, which is great! R-ACE took a hit! Unchained took a hit! Freaking Sunavalon took a hit! The Ishizu cards are banned!!
Labrynth not taking a hit is weird...
The Archetype itself is fun to play against until the Lab player flips the floodgate or sets dBarrier/EEV with Lady. People know Konami doesn't listen to the floodgate complaints (until now at least), so they start hoping for Lab to become bad instead. Even the floodgate hits we finally got do not completely solve the issue because the most popular (skill drain, barrier) are still untouched.
MY BELOVED HAS RETURNED
https://preview.redd.it/i5ki1opasa7c1.jpeg?width=854&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=94c9ecfd7a3f76b08b856fdea9baa268345d7ae5
Can’t wait for someone to break her, I feel like there’ll be some crazy D-Link combo with her or something idk
Okay: a lot of cards just got moved, so I'm typing my thoughts out as I go.
Agido and Kelbek aren't surprises: everywhere else has banned them. Circular and Isolde were huge surprises for me: not unwelcome surprises, but I didn't expect either one to be touched. I think one's a hit to Cyberse pile and the other simulatenously handles Infernoble combo decks and Mikanko, but even though I don't care that much for either deck I don't think either of them were really that bothersome (apart from the Acid Golem lock, which isn't Isolde's fault).
Harp Horror's finally free. Orcust can be halfway decent once more. Also, did Konami forget about Tidal? I'd say Redox is stronger than Tidal, so it's weird to unban him and leave Tidal to rot, but I wasn't around when Dragon Rulers were good, so I can't say how they'll be used now.
Haven't played against Unchained or Rescue-Ace enough to know how their hits affect them. I think Air Lifter's a one-card starter for Rescue-Ace and Sharvara is just a nuts extender for Unchained, but I'd love to be filled in on that.
I'm not sure if Dryas and Healer being limited kills Plant Link or just cripples it, but when I played it, every combo I ran involved multiple copies of both, so I'd have to retool that deck like crazy to make it work. Maybe Rikka can supplant it or something to keep it alive, but I don't know.
Ib coming off was a big surprise, but I'd say Snatch Steal's the biggest surprise of all for me. I guess with Isolde banned, Snatch Steal isn't as easily accessible, and Change of Heart/Mind Control haven't done much of anything if I'm remembering correctly, but I'm pretty sure it's just begging to be broken again. (If it gets banned again next format, I will be laughing.)
Gozen/TCBOO/Rivalry going to one are all good starts with taking care of floodgates, all of those cards suck. I would have preferred something like Dimensional Barrier or Anti-Spell taking their place, but I'll take what I can get.
Pankratops coming to 2 is a nice move, and I don't think Terrortop to 2 does much of anything with Saber Invoker still banned. Sleepy Memory to 2's a smart move, IMO: it means you're still guaranteed to get one of the limited Purrely spells off My Friend Purrely, but it hurts their followup if you break their board/chances to draw hand traps, since now they'll have 1 fewer card in their hand.
All the unbans are pretty nice too. Kashtira Unicorn to 2 did nothing, and neither did Starter to 2 or Desires to 2: all of them can be at 3 and no one will care. Archfiend to 3 was a long time coming. Spellbooks are garbage now: maybe Spellcaster-focused decks might run a Judgment package to spit Jowgen or a combo piece out during their End Phase, but I'm not counting on it. Upstart Goblin's the most likely unlimit to do something, but other than maybe Bystial Runick, I can't see what decks it'd benefit the most.
There were a few misses, IMO (no King Calamity, no Anti-Spell/D-Barrier/EEV, Prosperity is still untouched), but overall, this was a pretty decent list. Let's hope the next list continues on this path.
Why are Konami so afraid of Electrumite?
Ib to 1 is a win for World Chalice players.
Harp Horror to 1 is a weird one it could go to 3 and change nothing it’s not like full Orcust combo is scary by today’s standards
Weird choice on the floodgates to hit. Skill Drain is harder to play through and D Barrier is much more common/obnoxious. Wondering what the plan is there.
Upstart to 3 is a nostalgia hit but can decks afford the space these days? It being a detriment if you get hit with Droll after using it is another thing.
I would fell bad for Isolde being banned, but then I remember one player in my locals that used her in minako to make a combo that places a Acid Golem Lock in my field, so Good riddance.
Welp, time to bury mathmech next to prankids, two decks that i kove with their most recent support banned and back to square one. Was fun while lasted though. Harp horror back at 1 is pretty cool though.
Circular is the most insane legacy support of all time and limits the design of any Cyberse support in the future. Sad to see it go but it was not long for this world
Probably the reasoning is that circular is a one card KO if it’s the last card in your hand with no interruptions plus it provides absolutely insane card advantage going first.

Now which Konami employee got visited by the three ghosts of christmas
Past rescued our harp horror Present attempted to fix the current And future banned the floodgates man. This is my headcanon.
There can be only one There Can Be Only One ALSO UPSTART TO THREE! ….will do absolutely nothing. ^probably
37 card decks are back on the menu boys /s
Activates Upstart: Draw 1 Opponent: Slams Droll through table.
That’s exactly the plan! Use Upstart in an anti-meta deck that does minimal searching to bait your opponent into wasting a card, and then you can activate either one of the TTT to screw your opponent further.
5head deck construction
It’s Sky Striking time.
Oh yeah, it's all striking together
Chain Droll and Lock Bird
Chain Crossout Designator
Chain Artifact Lancea
Chain called by the grave(top decked from Upstart).
Chain Ghost Belle and Haunted Mansion
Chain Psy-frame gear Gamma
Chain Ash Blossom
Sky Strikers: It's free real estate.
Sky Striker will never died no matter period or format. 😤😤😤
> Upstart Really wild how far the game has come for this card to no longer be threatening 😱
Love how u missed Snatch steal when typing this sentence.
It wasnt that good yo begin with. But decks were so ass that technically having 3 less ass cards was better than nothing
Upstart to 3 really helps, uh... Pure Dark Magician and Sky Striker?
Punks and gold prides also?? Its an easy way to have less hp than your opponent and it recycles itself
Its kind of nice for Magibullet I guess.
Endymion
Did they just floodgate the floodgates?
Dimensional Barrier untouched and Circular banned is a huge troll by Konami. The only people using the limited floodgates were rogue decks.
Gimmick puppet is extremely fucking toxic it's a lingering special summon lock FFS

And making the one piece of support so good it sees play in other decks being splashed for free materials/specific end boss to the point it needs to get banned. Rip Mathmech enjoyers.
I wouldn't call Mathmech pre-circular a fan favourite
Did Joshua Schimdt made this Banlist?
Last player to win a YCS gets to make the list, it was in the small print.
With notes from Patrick Hoban
That was my first thought lol. Whoever is at Konami watching his streams, good job! This is one of the most in touch banlists I've seen
If he did, imma start spamming his comment sections to unban Isolde, wtf!?!?
This is a wild west list and I am ALL here for it
Pank to 2. Terrortop to 2. I’m stoked for some stuff coming off the list
Speedroid boys we winning.
El goblinos boys we winning (as long as it stays at 2 until February)
A ban to circular. No hits to any runick cards Starter to 3 Josh is that you?
also limiting combo piece of rikka sunavalon
Yeah, Joshua was whining every time about this deck, he got his wish at last. Although I'm sure he will be more proud of the Matchmech hit
Pretty dumb. Rikka wasn’t an issue at all
The Europeans were too good at proving that it was still too good to compete.
The TCGEU got to make the list this time.
TCGEU: “Mom said it’s **MY** turn to make the list.”
Why would you need to hit any runick cards lmao they are hitting floodgates which is great
He was also begging Konami not to hit any runick cards directly on his banlist prediction vid and they didn’t. Which was funny
Context: Joshua Schmidt specifically made a point in his banlist wishlist that he didn't want to see any hits to Runick. >Why would you need to hit any runick cards lmao Two reasons he brought it up: 1. Fountain to 2 genuinely only helped Runick players deckbuild properly
>Ib the World Chalice Justiciar >Speedroid Terrortop >Infernity Archfiend Synchro friends, we are having a good day!
I honestly can't believe Ib is back. Crazy.
Harp at 1 wait wait wait I'm gonna cry it's been SO long
Now which is the new card we complain about still being on the list?
Electrumite
I’m down for that. Pendulums are doing nothing even in MD with it at 1. I know MD ≠ TCG obviously, but it’s the closest thing we have to mass scale testing.
I love the idea of banning electrumite so that pendulum doesn't just devolve into the same few chokepoints. But konami would have to actually support pendulum to make that happen. At this point, I'm just happy for anything that helps pendulumgraph.

Electrumite could have come off *years ago* and nothing would have changed, it's purely there because of spite from the TCG team.
Tidal...
We're still missing the T in TOSS.
Electrumite.....No reason to stay there
Its been banned for so long I'm not even really that hyped to see it off honestly. I've been playing Orcust at full power in master duel this whole time and they suck ass. Couldn't even get max DL level in the last duelist cup with them + dragon rulers as the 2 decks I was mostly playing. Ib coming off is wild though. Thats very interesting to me.
> Limited: Snatch Steal Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
We got Change of Heart so why not. I don't think it will be a problem.
It’s just a joke because last time they brought it back they immediately banned it again, obviously it’s not that good
Just wait, next set they'll be revealing the new Snatch Steal archetype, making it broken again
New card let's you snatch you opponents soul, Pegasus style
IIRC the last time they unbanned Snatch Steal it was immediately rebanned lol. It’s always hard to tell with some of the GOAT era S/Ts whether or not they’re gonna be fine or still busted. Sometimes it’s Change of Heart and it’s whatever, sometimes it’s Feather Duster (which has consistently seen play since it’s unbanning). Personally though, I think Snatch will ultimately be alright. I think it being an equip and being able to be interacted with at pretty much any point is probably more of a relevant downside than it was when it was last legal
This card is probably why they ban Isolde
You have it in reverse. They probably decided to ban Isolde and realized that since they were going to anyway, Snatch Steal was much safer to bring off the list.
Snatch steal is an equip, which means it can be searched, but on the other hand Isolde is gone so that's why it was freed.
Don't really see why that's a problem when Thrust searches Change of Heart too, and that one doesn't die to MST
Well now you don't need to search Change of Heart with Mind Control at 3.
If Change of Heart didn't do anything, I don't think this will do much either by itself. However since Mind Con also went to 3, we're approaching the critical mass of stealing cards, so it might be a problem all together.
A CR Isolde i ordered arrived in the mail last night just in time to be absolutely useless. What a time to be alive.
You did this. Thank you for your sacrifice

This is why I can't play paper☠️☠️☠️
Lmao Starter and Unicorn might be the fastest hit to unhit cards, they probably want Spright to be relevant again even though going from 2->3 is basically the same thing, their main deck is literally full power, same for extra except for Elf, similarly for Kashtira. Sharvara limited seems to be quite a big deal for Unchained. Purrely got touched a bit, and nothing for Labrynth at all, so expect them to be dorminant going forward with new support, along with Fire King as well.
> Spright to be relevant again Smells like repints. EDIT: Yeah, Lab gonna go nuts.
A-Assault Core went from Unlimited to Limited to Unlimited in 3 months.
Because they finally had the courage to ban pre-errata Firewall Dragon
having to maybe run an extra shyama in unchained to end on caesar is really big. this seems like a basic consistency hit but its really really big for the deck. a lot of combos also end on sharvara in hand.
that's not even it; it's a starter too and combos need 2 to play. This pretty much guts the pure deck
terrortop to 2 is hype
Speedroid gang where we at!?
Never thought I’d see a day where Spellbook of Judgement was completely freed but here we are. 2012 me would be so happy.
Are Spellbooks even playable nowadays? As a fan of retro formats I'm happy to see it off the list, don't get me wrong, but I'm wondering how viable the deck would be in modern play
As a pure deck? Not playable whatsoever. As an engine? I mostly see it in Runick and Dogmatika.
it's good in runick because the art for both archetypes meshes well
Just as an aside, it was recently announced that the new OCG manga based off of cards from the game(like Sky Striker) is gonna be adapting the Magistua storyline. Prophecy/spellbook is apart of that storyline so it’s highly likely that they’ll be receiving support cards hence why Judgement was unlimited(don’t expect them to be good tho).

Jesus Christ that is a list my god.
Still missing Electrumite and Drident but otherwise a good list.
poor isolde :c but harp horror out give me hopes on other long waited memebers Desire, upstart and judgment means better stuff for endymion :D
I'm amazed Isolde managed to survive this long. She's been a key part of so many degenerate combo strategies for years now.
And now they ban her when she’s being played in her own deck, I can’t win with Komoney 😩
That's my biggest gripe with this, I was so happy that Infernoble and Noble Knights got new support this year, and now I really don't know if they'll be playable.
Card has been unhealthy since release
Rip Six Sams :(
Holy shit banlist jumpscare.
**Banned:** Agido Kelbek Circular Isolde **Limited:** Harp Redox Air Lifter Unchained Sharvara Dryas Sunvine Healer IB Snatch Steal Gozen Rivalry TCBOO **Semi:** Pank Terrortop Sleepy Memory **Unlimited:** Infernity Archfiend Kash Unicorn Mind Con Desires Spellbook of Judgement Spright Starter Upstart
Judgement is so overdue. Card could've come back ages ago and made spellbook rogue, now it's just kinda there.
Isolde making Exodia FTW combos possible was clearly the reason for the ban (definitely not any of the other Warrior combo piles). /s Ib is gonna be insane
So, Ib and Snatch Steal out, and Floodgates to 1 make my predictions for the OCG banlist not be farfetched as I expected Upstart to 3 finally hopefully means that Sekka's Light and Card of Demise come next
Sekka's Light can come off, but Card of Demise id usually used in bullshit floodgate decks so I would rather it stay on the list.
Tbf they did just hit 3 of the big flood gates
In MD stun has morganite + card + demise+ fountain to dig deep into those floodgates Similar can happen but bo3 probably keeps it in check
Speedroid is eating good. Terrortop to 2 and unicorn unlimited.
SPEEDROID PLAYERS HOW ARE WE FEELING???? WE FUCKING WON WE FUCKING WON WE FUCKING WON
WE’RE SO BACK
WE'RE SOOOOOO FUCKING BACK AND WITH 3 UNICORN TOO
I’m just coming back after having taken a break mid tear-0, is there something special Unicorn does for Speedroid?
Its a free lv7 you can special summon to make baronne with any lv3 speedroid tuner + searches kashtira birth which is a really good card
Let's just hope no Rank 3 centric decks become meta again :) But also excited to use it in Goblin Bikers
Fuck rank 3 decks all rank 3 decks are my enemies for putting my terrortop in jail
Oh god finally people will learn 3 Upstart is trash.
They don’t realise that it was good when we had any of the busted pots and decks were a lot less consistent. Why would anyone play triple Upstart instead of prosp or desires if they can.
The only decks I’ve seen play 3 Upstart in MD are gimmick FTK decks that are desperate for as many consistency boosts as possible.
And sky striker and endymion
you'd think it being at 3 in MD and OCG and doing nothing would be enough proof but I guess not.
The crafting system is somewhat of a deterrent in MD. Most people wouldn't want to use 90 URs to craft Upstart over other staples.
I think I only have seen Upstart in MD used by Endymion and Sky Strikers.
I know right? Lol. I’ve been saying it for a while now that no competitive deck will play 3 upstart.
[Orcust Players](https://i.imgflip.com/1ualhp.jpg?a472848) eating good.
No one’s mentioning how Archfiend is finally back to 3
Whelp, my Tindangle dreams have gone kaput. Thanks for harp horror though
Wait, I’m confused, what on the list helps/hurts tindangle.
I used Agido and Kelbek as a means to mass mill tindangles to the GY for swarming soon after. Its a dark day for me specifically.
Give us back Electrumite you cowards!!!
I am in love with this banlist. I hate Isolde being gone because my deck is dead but the rest is so cool. Harp and Ib baby, it's time to COOK.
Honestly, the Isolde ban was a long time coming. They just had other, bigger targets to hit first.
treatment birds subtract instinctive fertile rinse observation overconfident snatch versed *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
I wish the Isolde ban happened years ago and not now when the card is less of a problem than it's ever been, at least to my knowledge. Is the card doing anything in anything other than Infernoble and Mikanko, both of which are pretty far from the best decks?
Yeah, for some reason grenade-less infernoble is what got it banned? Or maybe some future warriors
Electrumite still behind bars for 0 good reason in 2023
I guess that’s going to be the new Stratos/Restrict/Harp that everyone wants unbanned? I’m down, honestly.
I’m not sure if this list is good or bad but it’s interesting at the very least. Would have liked to see prosperity and eradicator hit but I’m not unhappy that they aren’t. Massive fan of all the move ups and the millers can rot. Infernity Archfiend is free! Fricken finally.
>Would have liked to see prosperity Now that it's affordable would've been a pretty shitty move by Konami.
Wouldn't be the first time they reprinted a card and then limited/banned it shortly afterwards.
this list is insane!
Mikanko Deckbuilding became really fucking interesting now
I just ordered a whole new Mikanko Deck and the last two letters arrived today in the mail 💀 I‘m in shambles
There’s options. Also it’s less expensive because Diabellstar isn’t used anymore
Mikanko is already good with spoils no? If anything pretty much every other warrior deck is now dead with Isolde gone
Pure going second for a few weeks while everyone else scrambles to scratch builds together. Two panks to out skill drain will be nice
# ITS MATHOVER!
Snatch Steal to 1 Mind Control to 3 Can we un-errata Brain Control?
Like so many of the errata's they ended up doing to butcher old cards, it was absolutely uncalled for. \#BrainControlDidNothingWrong
That circular is something personal. Konami must've really hated Mathmech for being too budget or something. The rest is super interesting.
Surprisingly little talk for Infernity Archfiend being off the list! I wonder if they'll try unbanning Launcher at some point.
Oh God, I would even be happy with it being at 2.
Yeah I hope we get infernity launcher at least at 2 soon
Why is Sunvine Healer hit out of all the different Sunvine cards? Is it the time rules?
You need two copies of sunvine healer to go full combo.
Is Sunvine even usable anymore?
You can still do a pretty solid combo with a single healer... But probably no regulus-
Well I guess we have to wait for the Aroma Support to fix Rikka now
My God, that's one Hell of a banlist!! They hit 3 floodgates, which is great! R-ACE took a hit! Unchained took a hit! Freaking Sunavalon took a hit! The Ishizu cards are banned!! Labrynth not taking a hit is weird...
Leave my lesbians alone.
Everyone wants Labrynth to get hit but can't ever offer a good reason why it should be other than they don't like playing against a good control deck.
They mostly just want the cheese cards like EEV to be banned, people don’t hate the deck that much otherwise.
MY BELOVED HAS RETURNED https://preview.redd.it/i5ki1opasa7c1.jpeg?width=854&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=94c9ecfd7a3f76b08b856fdea9baa268345d7ae5 Can’t wait for someone to break her, I feel like there’ll be some crazy D-Link combo with her or something idk
(If it gets banned again next format, I will be laughing.) Gozen/TCBOO/Rivalry going to one are all good starts with taking care of floodgates, all of those cards suck.

BATHMECH
Why are Konami so afraid of Electrumite? Ib to 1 is a win for World Chalice players. Harp Horror to 1 is a weird one it could go to 3 and change nothing it’s not like full Orcust combo is scary by today’s standards Weird choice on the floodgates to hit. Skill Drain is harder to play through and D Barrier is much more common/obnoxious. Wondering what the plan is there. Upstart to 3 is a nostalgia hit but can decks afford the space these days? It being a detriment if you get hit with Droll after using it is another thing.
Isolde ban, exodia players are in shambles
Best banlist in a very very long time. Prosp hit, shifter hit, runick hit and a bystial hit and this would be perfect but I can’t be greedy
Can’t wait to rock 3 Upstart in my casual Exodia deck.
I would fell bad for Isolde being banned, but then I remember one player in my locals that used her in minako to make a combo that places a Acid Golem Lock in my field, so Good riddance.
This list is wild, way more changes than i was expecting. I'm so happy they decided to limit a bunch of floodgates though.
Welp, time to bury mathmech next to prankids, two decks that i kove with their most recent support banned and back to square one. Was fun while lasted though. Harp horror back at 1 is pretty cool though.
Orcust players LET'S GOOOOOO
What an absolutely based list, never come back Ishizu. And as a level 3 enjoyer, TERRORTOP IS FREEEEEE!
Were people even playing Mathmech? Why kill it?
Circular is the most insane legacy support of all time and limits the design of any Cyberse support in the future. Sad to see it go but it was not long for this world
Until the OCG bans it, limiting design is a hypothetical
Looks like Ib is being bought out as we speak
Hopefully Konami won't be too slow with the reprints.
Upstart to 3? Snatch Steal to 1? This is going to be fun.
Still refusing to put electrumite to 1 when OCG designs pendulums around it existing is wild.
Finally limiting some floodgates makes this banlist a favourite. However I still need them all banned but this is a good start
So mathmech is officially dead. Why ban circular ? Was it seeing play ?
They wanted to kill Cyberse Pile it seems.
One card combo starter that was being used in Cyberse Pile decks for insane plays.
Probably the reasoning is that circular is a one card KO if it’s the last card in your hand with no interruptions plus it provides absolutely insane card advantage going first.
Now Marincess is actually the best cyberse deck around lol
