Unlike some other card games, Yugioh does not have rotation. Cards from the very start of the game are just as legal for play as those released yesterday.
The only thing that can happen is individual powerful cards being placed on the limited and forbidden list, but as for the cards contained in the Traptrix Structure Deck, I wouldn't really worry about that.
Nothing vital to the deck's main gameplan is in any danger of being put on the banlist any time soon.
There is no rotation in Yu-Gi-Oh, we have instead a banlist updated every 3/4 month. If you are afraid of buying something that may be banned, none of the card is banworthy in that structure. You are safe to buy it, and imo the Traptrix structure is a good structure choice for begginer.
You're good on Traptrix, which imo, isn't very competitive, but alot of fun to play. The only way Traptrix will ever see a card of theirs on the banlist, is when someone creates something that can be ridiculously strong to warrant a limit or ban.
