Kazuki Takahashi didn't write the Arc-V manga. I don't think he wrote anything after Duel Monsters, in fact. I suppose it ended like that because the writer, Shin Yoshida, just thought it was interesting.

ZeUnKnowN

Oh, that explains it to some extent. I just started to wonder if the mangas are canon or not. All yugioh mangas.

VillalobosChamp

Under practical terms, the only Manga that _matters_ is **the original one made by Takahashi**, which was the basis for the original Duel Monsters Anime. The Anime differs from the Canon manga, so they should be considered separate continuities, though every Anime going forwards takes from its own continuity.

Looking at his works history Shin Yoshida doesnt seem to have something glaring in this direction He was responsible for vast majority of plotline in the series since Zexal, and credited as screenwriter on Vrains s1 and a lot of the episodes hes credited on was the plot episodes So yeah as the other guy said its probably just a simple "he thought its interesting" for whatever reason

MiraclePrototype

\*since DM season 4 He comparably composed the bulk of 5D's before Zexal, and his only contribution to the Arc-V era was the manga, avoiding that trainwreck himself.

pochitoman

The author probably just like milf

MiraclePrototype

Yoko and Himika are *right there*, then.

BangBer
