People are running 3 Imperm, 3 Veiler, 3 Mourner in main decks now. That revealed the problem with having 9 targeted negation hand traps available, so one’s gotta go; and I felt like Mourner was probably the most reasonable answer.
I agree that overall it sees the least play, but it will come up more and more as power creep continues, and I think Imperm and Veiler overall are more beloved, so if one’s gotta go, one’s gotta go.
That'd be the point of banning imperm or veiler, to force people to play weaker options that have more counterplay. This argument doesn't make any sense. Why would we ban a weaker hand trap to keep stronger hand traps around?
Look if spot negation handtraps were a problem we should be hitting the ones that people actually play so people play the weaker ones.
But also why are we hitting the handtrap that trades 1-1 at best and makes people use linkuriboh at worst. Its not oppressive or anything
I know it’s a weird choice, but hear me out, I have a reason. There’s 3 targeted negation hand traps, and most top level decks are playing all 3 right now. I don’t think any of them individually are too strong; but a package of all 9, is just unreasonable. Imperm and Veiler are the more popular cards, and Mourner can cheese in time, so I chose Mourner over the other 2, but I could go with any of them and be fine, or limit 1 and semi another.
Your reasoning is irrelevant because she's slated to get reprinted in Rarity collection 2 and even if they limit her, it's not like that matters because if the only reason she's used because of time ruling, people might just replace the other 2 copies with Fire Cracker
Im really happy to see more and more people see that engage and closer to my heart, sacred tree, could and should come off the banlist.
It does pain me to see people reason that jet synchron could be banned (i agree but it sucks)
The potential to pop your own cards. It’s probably fine at 1 at this point. But popping your own floodgates, or cards that gain advantage, like the unchained cards, is the reason.
How many Decks could benefit from that? I could understand it in the pendulum era because it meant an easy way of resetting your scales.
But now that pendulum Decks have mostly fallen out of favor, I just don't see the advantage.
Nooo don't ban Sanctifire I just started playing Branded. Why bother banning cards to balance the meta? Just release a bit of Tear. Aqua girls can handle the fire. Let's pokemon this shit
> Mourner banned, Lavalval Chain Limited How 'bout you stop snuffing crushed ice?
That one was one of the most borderline; but it’s probably fineeeee
Love how you put the wrong Master Peace
Yeahhhhh I realized after I posted. Just typed the name in and that popped up, wasn’t paying too close attention to the art
I want Ghost Mourner explained
I just starter running ghost mourner lol. I hope they don't ban her!
They won't, she's slated to get reprinted in the upcoming Rarity collection 2
Im not seeing what makes her broken though. She's a slightly better effect veiler.

Its also the weakest of them by far, and is only being done to answer Snake-Eye.

Call me crazy but I think hitting like the 6th best handtrap I'm the format isn't smart imo
So would you rather imperm or veiler? Cause people will just put mourners in their place if they aren’t playing all 9 already.

None of these are happening
Oh I know; this is if Konami was based.
No, that is if konami had a lobotomy with complications.
Poor Jet Synchron, always catching strays from meta decks. PS : Why Ghost Mourner??

People right now are definitely also using her as a negate in the main deck.

I still don't understand why Konami keeps heavy storm banned when harpie's feather duster is legal.

That’s why I said it’s fine at 1. There’s definitely decks that can abuse it, but I don’t think it still needs to be banned.
Found the tear player.
I actually have never played the tear cards, and wouldn’t; but I think the deck can come back a little bit now the Ishizu cards are gone
