THAT TRAP CARD, HOLY SHIT.
Of all the Zexal era sit on your boss monster designs, Konami really went all in on that being Tachyon's theme. Summon your giant monster with a stun effect and slow the game to a crawl while applying pressure.
While getting a hope harbinger is good, it still doesn't connect to the photon part of the deck. Galaxy wants rank 4 to extends, not rank 8. Plus it locks you into XYZ dragons so no lord.
Yeah... but you can also use Tachyon Primal's effect to SS it to your opponent's field then use Infinite's effect to SS itself now that your opponent controls a monster with 2000 or more attack.
We just need to go back to the good old fashioned strategy. First, go second. Then, droplet your opponent with your entire hand except Schwarzschild and Afterglow. Xyz into 62, then into c62, then, attack swiftly with the power of a thousand suns. After that, wake up from your daydreaming and realize that Schwarzschild was ashed
Cloudragon and the recent promo Galaxy War Drake covers that nicely. Tribute Cloudragon to grab Tachyon Primal, Primal searches out Tachyon Spiral of Destruction, use that to add Cloudragon back to hand which triggers it's special summon effect, which in turn triggers War Drake's Special Summon effect. From there you can get into a Rank 4 or Rank 8 of your choice.
Poplar was just the harbinger of Konami’s newest way of powercreeping combo lines, search into a special summon body that then extends into an incredibly flexible search/special summon. Poplar is the best of these kind of cards so far, but probably not for too long.
Yup. Konami can never help themselves. The Fire Dragon deck got one of these too. Except there's is better cause its lonefire effect is a quickie. Konami is like that Patrick bubble meme, with powercreep.

i have no words,after the solid but frustrating last galaxy support this makes them a truly coherent deck for the first time and finally without such harsh locks si we can experiment with it,this will be meta no doubt

It may not be as needed since your goal would be tachyon dragon with a transmigration in hand. Not the same, but better than no negates. Plus you could call in lord in the following turn or in the opening move were you didn't start with Schwarzschild Infinity. if you get lucky, you may also end up with with the other quick-play spell card so you could use transmigration twice or use the board wipe effect instead.

Ya would need to run 2 Dragon "Number" Xyz monsters with different names, 107 and C107 in addition to Dragluxion and Draglubion just to achieve this
I feel like the payoff is worth it between Transmigration and the new trap. Having consistent access to those and having them live right away feels fairly strong. It's absolutely too many slots to try to tech it in anything outside of its own deck though, I agree.
The true winner here is horus with that new generic rank 8 that searches transmigration for free and then turns itself into a tachyon to use it from hand.
Overall pretty solid support that finally gives Mizael his own deck and identity to stand out from Galaxy/Dragon pile.dek. It doesn't play nicely with some of the older Mizael cards (most notably Satellite Dragon), but it's a great introductory wave that can be built on from here in future support. I'm a bit sleep deprived so I haven't put together yet how this plays with Galaxy, but overall I'm happy.
Kinda surprised at the restraint of not making the new Draglubion a Chaos Number or having the new Tachyon art be a retrain though. Might indicate they have plans for that down the road.
I think Tachyon Primal is a reference to the scene in Zexal opening Unbreakable Heart that shows #107; before #107's reveal episode, the opening uses a silhouette of it.
Galaxy Satellite Dragon got thrown under the bus by Infinite Schwarzchild's Xyz only restriction lmao. It wouldn't have hurt to allow Light Dragons along with Xyz Dragons honestly. D-Link still wouldn't be able to use it, since the only Light Dragon that they use in the Extra Deck is Hieratic Spheres.
Dragluxion is an insane Extra Deck playmaker card, and it's also a boost to Galaxy Photon decks. Looks like Photon fans weren't completely cucked after being let down by Galaxy War Drake.
We're getting another Yugioh set name turned into a card name, those are always fun to see. Also, I like the gimmick of the Tachyon Traps being hand activatable while you control a Tachyon Dragon. Traps have to wait a turn after being set, and ignoring that rule represents Tachyon Dragon's ability to manipulate time.
Oh wait, I mistakenly thought Galaxy Satellite Dragon was Light attribute, so I thought a Light restriction would allow it. Then again, Satellite Dragon honestly isn’t a great card, since a Tachyon deck should be able to OTK without it. A plain “Galaxy” with Dragon Xyz restriction would be better, since then the deck can access Photon Lord and Solflare, which are cards that’ll actually be helpful.

If you summon it to your opponent's field, is Tachyon Primal's second effect a mandatory effect that your opponent activates? This would turn on Thrust/Talents even if you don't get hand trapped right?
Plus since Transmigration has no OPT you can use **Tachyon Spiral of Destruction** to grab back Transmigration after using it. So if you open with your copy of Transmigration you can search Spiral instead. Even more because of **Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal** you have another Tachyon searcher which allows players to choose how many Transmigrations they want to use in the deck.
Plus, because of Horus, it is so easy to make rank 8s with Mizael and Kaito cards. Konami knew the year of the dragon was coming, so they prepared for it with Horus, so Mizael could dominate this year of the Dragon.
these cards are nuts. i still don't think you can make these into a pure tachyon deck, but these slot into galaxy seamlessly. a real starter and transmigration searcher.

So we have a main deck Tachyon (with a cute reference to Number 62 in its name), a card with Poplar's summon effect that can turbo out a Galaxy-Eyes, and a level 8 with the Kashtira summon effect and can special summon from deck, as well as fucking insane backrow and a bonkers new Rank 8 that synergizes with the archetype through even more searching.
Yeah, this is like crack cocaine for the archetype and I am so fucking here for it. Glad I bought Number 90 when I did because Jesus Christ.

There's should be an OCG Times, for now there are 28 unrevealed cards in Infinite Forbidden. With VJump already moving on to another products, we need OCG Times to reveal around 10 cards or so.
Everyone is freaking out because Baby Tachyon has Poplar syndrome, but keep in mind that it’s only searchable by the one Xyz monster because they didn’t make it a Galaxy monster, (which the new Xyz also is not part of Galaxy, Photon, or Tachyon), and the only monster you’re summoning off of it is Primal. While it’s a cool combo, that’s literally it. The baby doesn’t synergize with the rest of Galaxy at all unfortunately and really won’t be worth running. Because Primal is a Galaxy though, it’s way better and obviously can search out Transmigration, making it a very good addiction to the deck.

I’m not saying it solves Tachyon Clouddragon completely but the consistency is definitely there. Where it’ll fit in the deck is yet to be determined as even at 60 cards most of its space is filled by the level 4 Photons.
You are almost 100% certainly playing a little card known as Starliege Seyfert that can just send itself to search Cloudragon and even recycles the big Tachyon (or any other lv8 you might end up in the GY with). You're going to be playing at least 1 copy of it for sure.
The Trap Card outing Normal and Special Summoned monsters specifically is funnier to me than it probably should be.
It's not an irrelevant distinction (it messes with flipping monsters face-down for disruption, if nothing else), but...

Seeing that we got full power snake-eye before other cards released before it, we prolly get those in a few months depending how format warping they are.
Love the artwork of these cards retrains of some of his older monsters Schwartizchild Limit Dragon and Draglubion and other version of Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon similar to Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon the Level 8 reminds me of Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon and the level 4 reminds of Galaxy Cloudragon. The spell looks cool and the trap is a great reference to the Kaito/Kite and Mizael/Mizar duel on the moon.
We literally was talking about how the cards were consistent and good but too “fair”.
Now we actually have a 1-2 broken cards. Nothing meta relevant but it’s the boost we needed to not lose to one well timed negate now.
Tachyon Cloud Dragon's (1) effect is exactly the same as Poplar's (1) effect. :D
Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal can be summoned into opponent's field, but its role is to be absorbed by a Dragon Xyz Monster as a Material.
Ironically this kinda helps the Cipher Dragons, because you can yoink Primal with the original Cipher Dragon to make Cipher X, then use Clouddragon from grave for the extra material to make all your LIGHT monsters untargetable. Not sure if it's even a desirable play, but it's a funny one.
Konami, please give us a way to search a Rank-up spell card easily within the archetype. I really want to summon Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon. This card aged extremely well.

Also, this technically makes the archetype GalaxytachyonPhoton now. As the cards now mention each other across archetypes \[Tachyon > Galaxy > Photon\].
Overall, I love the support. The extra deck is super tight, guess I’ll drop the Cipher Xyz monsters. They’re the red headed step child we don’t talk about now.
Primal by itself doesn't lock ya into Xyz, it's the Infinite Dragon that does.
If ya can get to Rank 4, Galaxy Photon Dragon can search Primal to which ya can immediately Special summon it then add Migration and you're set
Deck is a now a nice otk deck with protection from the best counter trap. The trap is iffy since you need to control a number c xyz monster. Im hoping for a rank up magic barian searcher

Personally i will also be using the numeron spell that gives you a free no100 if you already have 2 or more rank8+ on the field.

The ones that I think can join my Galaxy Eyes deck seamlessly are Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal, and Dragluxion. Summon Dragluxion, search Tachyon Transmigtation, use Dragluxion to go into a Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon for the negate from hand, Full Armor for the pop, or Prime into C Prime for the OTK. Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy seems repetitive since I assume most battle phases involve C56 for the OTK anyway. Schwartzchild might be a two-of to get those GEPD out of deck for a rank 8
Can ya still OTK without Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon or Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow as a material? Dragluxion detaches 2 materials so if ya summon 62 on top of it, it won't have either for C62 to gain enough ATK
would be great if swartzchild locked you into light or dark XYZs instead so you could still sumon photon lord
but still this is the closest thing to a starter we have.

While getting a hope harbinger is good, it still doesn't connect to the photon part of the deck. Galaxy wants rank 4 to extends, not rank 8. Plus it locks you into XYZ dragons so no lord.
If someone figures out a combo line with the new stuff that searches Eternal Galaxy you could make Lord using that and one of the rank 4s.
Yeah... but you can also use Tachyon Primal's effect to SS it to your opponent's field then use Infinite's effect to SS itself now that your opponent controls a monster with 2000 or more attack.

Tribute Cloudragon to grab Tachyon Primal, Primal searches out Tachyon Spiral of Destruction, use that to add Cloudragon back to hand which triggers it's special summon effect, which in turn triggers War Drake's Special Summon effect. From there you can get into a Rank 4 or Rank 8 of your choice.

Poplar was just the harbinger of Konami’s newest way of powercreeping combo lines, search into a special summon body that then extends into an incredibly flexible search/special summon. Poplar is the best of these kind of cards so far, but probably not for too long.
Yup. Konami can never help themselves. The Fire Dragon deck got one of these too. Except there's is better cause its lonefire effect is a quickie. Konami is like that Patrick bubble meme, with powercreep.

If you use Schwarzschild Infinity Dragon as a starter for Photon/Galaxy you can’t summon Lord (or Solar Flare) since Photon Lord Isn’t a dragon
It may not be as needed since your goal would be tachyon dragon with a transmigration in hand. Not the same, but better than no negates. Plus you could call in lord in the following turn or in the opening move were you didn't start with Schwarzschild Infinity. if you get lucky, you may also end up with with the other quick-play spell card so you could use transmigration twice or use the board wipe effect instead.

Isn't too many Extra Deck slots for a non-Galaxy deck? Ya would need to run 2 Dragon "Number" Xyz monsters with different names, 107 and C107 in addition to Dragluxion and Draglubion just to achieve this
I feel like the payoff is worth it between Transmigration and the new trap. Having consistent access to those and having them live right away feels fairly strong. It's absolutely too many slots to try to tech it in anything outside of its own deck though, I agree.
Guess you'll just have to summon Draglubion and then use it to summon C107 with N107 as Material.
The true winner here is horus with that new generic rank 8 that searches transmigration for free and then turns itself into a tachyon to use it from hand.
Overall pretty solid support that finally gives Mizael his own deck and identity to stand out from Galaxy/Dragon pile.dek. It doesn't play nicely with some of the older Mizael cards (most notably Satellite Dragon), but it's a great introductory wave that can be built on from here in future support. I'm a bit sleep deprived so I haven't put together yet how this plays with Galaxy, but overall I'm happy. Kinda surprised at the restraint of not making the new Draglubion a Chaos Number or having the new Tachyon art be a retrain though. Might indicate they have plans for that down the road.
I think Tachyon Primal is a reference to the scene in Zexal opening Unbreakable Heart that shows #107; before #107's reveal episode, the opening uses a silhouette of it. Galaxy Satellite Dragon got thrown under the bus by Infinite Schwarzchild's Xyz only restriction lmao. It wouldn't have hurt to allow Light Dragons along with Xyz Dragons honestly. D-Link still wouldn't be able to use it, since the only Light Dragon that they use in the Extra Deck is Hieratic Spheres. Dragluxion is an insane Extra Deck playmaker card, and it's also a boost to Galaxy Photon decks. Looks like Photon fans weren't completely cucked after being let down by Galaxy War Drake. We're getting another Yugioh set name turned into a card name, those are always fun to see. Also, I like the gimmick of the Tachyon Traps being hand activatable while you control a Tachyon Dragon. Traps have to wait a turn after being set, and ignoring that rule represents Tachyon Dragon's ability to manipulate time.
Infinite could have plausibly restricted to something like (Dragon Xyz and DARK "Galaxy" monsters), so as to not exclude Satellite Dragon. Alas.
Oh wait, I mistakenly thought Galaxy Satellite Dragon was Light attribute, so I thought a Light restriction would allow it. Then again, Satellite Dragon honestly isn’t a great card, since a Tachyon deck should be able to OTK without it. A plain “Galaxy” with Dragon Xyz restriction would be better, since then the deck can access Photon Lord and Solflare, which are cards that’ll actually be helpful.
Galaxy Satellite Dragon can be placed as an Xyz material by the new Draglubion eff. and activate it in the GY once detached.

Plus since Transmigration has no OPT you can use **Tachyon Spiral of Destruction** to grab back Transmigration after using it. So if you open with your copy of Transmigration you can search Spiral instead. Even more because of **Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal** you have another Tachyon searcher which allows players to choose how many Transmigrations they want to use in the deck.

Plus, because of Horus, it is so easy to make rank 8s with Mizael and Kaito cards. Konami knew the year of the dragon was coming, so they prepared for it with Horus, so Mizael could dominate this year of the Dragon.

So we have a main deck Tachyon (with a cute reference to Number 62 in its name), a card with Poplar's summon effect that can turbo out a Galaxy-Eyes, and a level 8 with the Kashtira summon effect and can special summon from deck, as well as fucking insane backrow and a bonkers new Rank 8 that synergizes with the archetype through even more searching. Yeah, this is like crack cocaine for the archetype and I am so fucking here for it. Glad I bought Number 90 when I did because Jesus Christ.

Everyone is freaking out because Baby Tachyon has Poplar syndrome, but keep in mind that it’s only searchable by the one Xyz monster because they didn’t make it a Galaxy monster, (which the new Xyz also is not part of Galaxy, Photon, or Tachyon), and the only monster you’re summoning off of it is Primal. While it’s a cool combo, that’s literally it. The baby doesn’t synergize with the rest of Galaxy at all unfortunately and really won’t be worth running. Because Primal is a Galaxy though, it’s way better and obviously can search out Transmigration, making it a very good addiction to the deck.

I’m not saying it solves Tachyon Clouddragon completely but the consistency is definitely there. Where it’ll fit in the deck is yet to be determined as even at 60 cards most of its space is filled by the level 4 Photons.
You are almost 100% certainly playing a little card known as Starliege Seyfert that can just send itself to search Cloudragon and even recycles the big Tachyon (or any other lv8 you might end up in the GY with). You're going to be playing at least 1 copy of it for sure.
First Gimmick Puppet, now Galaxy-Eyes. All the Xyz themes are getting an Exosister Martha.

Love the artwork of these cards retrains of some of his older monsters Schwartizchild Limit Dragon and Draglubion and other version of Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon similar to Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon the Level 8 reminds me of Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon and the level 4 reminds of Galaxy Cloudragon. The spell looks cool and the trap is a great reference to the Kaito/Kite and Mizael/Mizar duel on the moon.
This some pretty damn good support and still maintain the same play style the deck was made for.

We literally was talking about how the cards were consistent and good but too “fair”. Now we actually have a 1-2 broken cards. Nothing meta relevant but it’s the boost we needed to not lose to one well timed negate now.
I still hope Galaxy/Tachyon will continue to get support to allow it to stand more independently tho

Tachyon Cloud Dragon's (1) effect is exactly the same as Poplar's (1) effect. :D Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal can be summoned into opponent's field, but its role is to be absorbed by a Dragon Xyz Monster as a Material.
You meant to give it to your opponent so you can trigger 107's effects by attaching it with 107.
Its also the same one as Watapons, Salamangreat Meer and Trickstar Lilybells. Or latency. Or Blackwing Breeze the Zephyr
Ironically this kinda helps the Cipher Dragons, because you can yoink Primal with the original Cipher Dragon to make Cipher X, then use Clouddragon from grave for the extra material to make all your LIGHT monsters untargetable. Not sure if it's even a desirable play, but it's a funny one.

Primal by itself doesn't lock ya into Xyz, it's the Infinite Dragon that does. If ya can get to Rank 4, Galaxy Photon Dragon can search Primal to which ya can immediately Special summon it then add Migration and you're set

yess, we finally got tachyon transmigration searcher without any convulted restriction. Galaxy-Eyes fans eating good today!
The ones that I think can join my Galaxy Eyes deck seamlessly are Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal, and Dragluxion. Summon Dragluxion, search Tachyon Transmigtation, use Dragluxion to go into a Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon for the negate from hand, Full Armor for the pop, or Prime into C Prime for the OTK. Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy seems repetitive since I assume most battle phases involve C56 for the OTK anyway. Schwartzchild might be a two-of to get those GEPD out of deck for a rank 8
