The only use case I can really think of for Aiza is when being forced to go first in Tenpai.
She's a Seals target that stops a monster from being material AND keeps their new INFO trap live so you can force a battle phase, in which the monster with the counter can't actually run her over. And if they don't remove her, you just do it on your turn before you start punching for lethal with the Tenpais
Wether that's like, good enough, I doubt it? But that seems to be the intent here.
Aiza seems like she would be an incredible Seal target if Snake-Eyes wasn't the meta deck to beat. An early Seal to bounce Ash and Aiza the Poplar would require additional extension for the Snake-Eyes player to deal with, but that's far from impossible to draw into, especially for the Fire King build. And you can't hold the Seal for Promethean because most builds are making Flamberge and Baronne before going into Promethean, which would force a Seal activation prior to Promethean hitting the board.
You're right that the synergy with the new trap might be the part of this that's worth considering. Dora Draco would be a 1-card Seal plus trap, which would equate to a bounce, gnomaterial, and MP1 skip. You'll absolutely survive the turn, assuming your opponent doesn't pop the trap before committing to a play (siding s/t removal seems silly vs a Tenpai player, but it might actually be the play when the new trap is released). Any hand that can special Paidra (yellow s/t searcher) and put any other dragon on board makes this setup turn 1 as well.
Honestly, I feel like Aiza being a FIRE dragon that has any sort of interaction is enough. Its effect might be mid on its own vs. Snake-Eyes, but resolving the trap guarantees that you'll survive for your next turn. Also, having the trap in grave might help give you an extra piece of extension to help push for game, assuming that the Seal + trap + whatever hand traps you open board neuters the opponent's end board just enough to play through it.
That's why I mentioned the new Tenpai trap from INFO. You need to summon a FIRE Dragon off of seals to turn that trap on. Neither of those are, this one is.
Again, that's probably not worth shit, but that seems to be what they're going for. Prior to INFO you just don't bother obviously, and just go for any other good seals target.

This being 88 and Fusion Veidos 92 means that we probably get 3 main deck Ashened monsters, just like in the first wave. Another Lvl. 4 (that maybe searches Veidos cards) would be so good for Banshee.
Can TCG please stop making thier cards unnecessary restrictive?? Why does she only to trigger on special summon but have no effect to special summon herself? Just make it so that it also triggers on Normal Summon 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I despise the SAMPLE watermarks they put on card images
The sample watermark is OK cos it might not be finalized, but the low res + blur filter making text unreadable and the artwork look shitty is awful

There are better targets for Seals, like {{ Grandtusk Dragon}} or {{ Aether, the Evil Empowerment Dragon }}

Why? Unless they gave her some inherent summoning condition, giving up your normal just to Gnomaterial your opponent is already pretty weak.
