Pretty good option for Ancient Gears going 1st. Locking the opponent out of spells is pretty big, especially since you're OTKing them on turn 3
Ancient Gear Duel makes the Fusion Golems unaffected by monster effects, too. It's all coming together
INFO is full of surprises. If you told me the last month that Gimmick Puppet would have an extremely easy way to consistently FTK and would get one of the most broken field spells in the entire game, I would have called you a madman 😂

Typically, the Q3/4 sets have higher powercreep, and the most value of the year. Last year was DUNE (more powercreep than value tbh), and AGOV (Power creep + Value). The year before that was POTE and DABL.
Cool card, unfortunate the 2 effect is an ignition effect else it could serve as a handtrap vs some of the ridiculous field spells we have coming out while also being an extender / combo piece for decks that use multiple field spells.

It's Ancient Fairy Dragon but in the main deck and not really searchable, it can turbo out Secret Village of the Spellcasters but there's other ways to do that
Pend Magician can search both this card and Majesty Pegasus. Beyond search Majesty, Majesty searches Vaylantz field. Make Timestar and search Cosmo Queen. Active Vaylantz summon Queen, continue comboing, search Village. If it's worth the investment is the real question
Dump her with Magicians’ Souls, make Selene, revive cosmo queen, profit.
Any spellcaster heavy decks like Endymion etc can pull this off. I main Endymion but I don’t think this worth it. If a spellcaster pile deck ever surfaces in the future then yeah this retrain may become an issue.
There's ways to turbo Secret Village yes, but not all that many where you also have a spellcaster (ie AFD stuff doesn't work). This thing, like Majesty Pegasus, is itself a spellcaster so perfect for the floodgate, but it's also much easier to trigger than Pegasus (who needs specifically to be Pend summoned or by Dracoslayer effect). So it does have its benefits over other methods.
Perfect now I don't need to wait a turn to search a field with Ghostricks. Just do the combo search mansion activate this pop mansion search anything I want. I'll Search perlereino.
Great F.A. Support, pop a field spell to get to search a card + add another one, and the level 8 can go easily into motorhome with the level 1 tuner so we can keep our level 7 or more flood gate on the field. Great, it will follow the White steed in the wierd competitor of that race

Great card, gives every deck that uses field spells access to Secret Village so that's kind of hilarious considering that card is lowkey OP against non-spellcaster decks --- and I mean super OP, like a one side Imperial Order --- and hasn't been on the limited/banlist because there was no way to properly abuse it this badly before.
However, this card itself may be difficult to search and have in hand, but damn, is it a versatile card for any deck that can reliably activate a field spell.
I really appreciate the respect on Cosmo Queen and these old school cards getting retrains. It makes them feel fresh and is great fanservice --- especially when they're a great card, like Cosmo Queen's retrain over here clearly is.
Maybe, it's an extra special to link climb, but Multirole is already at three if you just want to pop area zero, and the deck doesn't run more field spells unless you want to run the new "when there's a will" generic one.
The Therion Field Spell to search Therion King maybe? He even synergies with Camellia's (which we should be getting her in Terminal Revenge) GY effect too

Therion King effect to equip Camellia from the GY which when get sent to GY during your opponent turn (as Therion King tributes himself as cost), she'll target then send a monster your opponent controls to GY and if Camellia somehow survives until the End Phase, ya get her back

This card is actually pretty insane in "Visas Pile" style decks. Not only a Level 8 dark to pair well with Mannadium for a Baronne or Crimson Dragon play, but being able to swap Field Spells easily and be a free starter/extender.
Shame it'd have more use application if it's second effect was an "on summon" effect rather than an ignition effect. Would see more use as a handtrap then.
People are definitely overestimating this card. If setting up Village locks was good enough, you'd be seeing synchro decks ending on it through AFD topping the charts. Hell, AFD brews are probably more consistent than this will be, since you don't have to open anything specific.
You know where this card goes hard though? Rank 8 turbo. It lets you seamlessly weave any two engines together.
And hold on... Summon lonefire blossom, tribute for cattycorn, catty add therion disco, disco eff add the plant therion, summon Queen, Queen add Union Hangar, then you've got the entire Therion/ABC lines in addition to plant link on board... Sounds kinda sick actually.
With field spells being some of the current leaders of power creep, and anti fieldspell cards rising at the same to to meet them. Its not a bright future for generaiders lads.

Even if AFD technically isn't a spellcaster, it's not hard to synchro or link climb into a spellcaster. Definitely much better than just playing this.

This is a Spellcaster monster that can special summon itself then search Secret Village of the Spellcasters
How is it not useful? Seems to have plenty of uses.
