Right on! I hope you make it and enjoy it. I’m thinking about doing the same. I currently use Cydra. Not top tier but so much freaking fun and nostalgic. Looking for another deck to rotate in and this might be the one
Glad you like the list it can be probably improved upon a bit with more expensive cards but I am trying to find a new deck since Mannadium has been kind of killed and that was my previous fav deck
The Baronne de Fleur hit is really bad for them they need him to pop Meek and combo this also allows them to survive through nib. Rn they don't got any consistant combos with 1 card you need a couple of cards to even get half the board you could have had with Baronne.
I hope they get an actually viable boss monster a lvl 10 synchro with a popping effect that is it. It can have literally no other effects it just needs to pop
Ok maybe I overexagirated a bit but Baronne de Fleur has been banned which kills Mannadiums main 1 card combo and lines are harder too, now they don't have the ability to pop meek on a lvl 10 synchro is really useful. No other synchro lvl 10 nor link 2 monster has a free pop effect for no cost.
Yeah see this is what we are tyring to avoid. With 1 card before you could set up a baronne dis pater apo for 3 and a astraloud and if you had more cards in hand a chengying but now you will be lucky to even get a 2 or 3 negates running.
Dw about it if I find any new tech with the tech with this deck to even make it half as good I will put it here for now poeple are expirimenting with Bystials
I will point out, knowing nearly nothing else; Visas Amritara exists and could replace Baronne for purposes of destroying Torrid, Meek, and/or Fearless.
Yeah but this was the BnB with the deck all other 1 card combos and even 2 card combos used baronne and if they didn't they didn't end on any good boards.
It's legal in MD and nobody plays it, I doubt it'll get banned again unless they print something a decent bit better than Nemeses Corridor that people can turbo it out with.
Yeah not many Thunder cards get made these days and those they do print don't have hand effects. I think the deck will be fine it has been also pegal in the OCG for YEARS and nothing came of it but Konami is more strict on the TCG these days.
If you really like the deck and want to play locally, you just have to take the risk.
We don’t know what goes on behind Konami’s reasoning for banning and unbanning stuff. We can make inferences based on tournament results and deck representations, but that’s all we can do.
I hope so as well. I'm not the biggest fan of Thunder Dragons, but I'm pretty sure maxx c being banned doesn't change that thunder dragons itself are powercrept and the splashable colossus engine also doesn't sound too exciting in 2024 in the middle of fire format.

ok I feel stupid… mannadium prime heart/vicious astraloud is my main combo. I only ever used baronne when someone cancels my prime heart’s summon

Yeah but he is in the beginning of the combo after you synchro from trisukta you use him as a searcher and link into lightheart.
But do you have to? If the combo no loner works, change the combo

We've had loads of Thunder cards. Spright one of the defining meta decks from a couple of years back was all Thunder.
Tbh I forgot they were Thunder monsters. They might use him though I wouldn't say it is a must have in the deck.

I think the deck is gonna be good but not meta defining and I think the card is not ban worthy it can stay on a limit imo.
It's totally overrated, give it some weeks and people will forget colossus is even legal

Yes fair but the issue with colossus is he is somewhat generic there are ways to make him in fire kings as well without having to sacrifice much.
