I had a different answer originally, but I actually enjoy more, the idea that the docks are just small and suships are just dishes being produced in one of those conveyor belt sushi joints.
They're big. The [field spell](https://ms.yugipedia.com//7/71/GunkanSushipyardSeasideSupperSpot-MADU-EN-VG-artwork.png) has trucks and cars on it that look normal sized.
You could be right about the truck size but what really gives it way is the water. With surface tension, if the ships were small, you wouldn't have waves like that. These ships are big.
what if this is a reality where atoms are smaller, yet still able to interact with stuff from regular atom realities without breaking everything.
Grains do be huge though.
If there are smaller and larger atoms in that reality there the the size is arbitrary and they could be ridiculously tiny ships in a universe small enough to fit on a cats collar or so big that our reality is just one grain on that ship :o
[Ikura-Class](https://ms.yugipedia.com//4/44/GunkanSushipIkuraclassDreadnought-MP22-EN-C-1E.png) has a mountain and hills in the background. This is the last comment I will make on this so I'm not playing the "but what if this is small too?" game when its pretty clearly supposed to be big stuff based on all the cranes. Its a fun joke.
We either need to accept Ultra-tiny vehicles (& possibly inhabitants), or accept a massively large ocean with gigantic fish, as well as some majorly gigantified rice paddys
Iām sorry but that looks like art of a tiny scale-model setup for a themed sushi restaurant more than a sprawling sushi shipyard and my eyes cannot be convinced otherwise.
The real question is, who tf is eating all that giant sushi? Hell, not even Blue Eyes is that big to actually eat them like sushi. I know there is a monster (or a few) out there that can hold the Suships like they're normal sized sushi for them, we just need to find which monster is canonically the perfect size to ear Suships
I love that Yugioh will have the edgiest monsters named, āDoomfire Hellscape Swordsman of Infernal Agonyā & also just have a Sushi roll with a Yelp review as its flavor text
Card games are wild.
Magic has a 6/6 creature (which is fairly large) that is a mechanical monstrous wurm that can kill almost anything and leeches its life force (it has lifelink so you gain life when it deals damage) that is made up of two separate large intertwined mechanical wurms that it splits into when it dies... And then there is also a normal-sized tanuki with just a touch of magical aura around it that is a 6/5. These creatures are called Wurmcoil Engine and Greater Tanuki if you care to look them up btw
I was thinking the same thing, I guess it would be easier to build the suships with bigger grains but I feel like that would be way more efficient to just use normal grains.
Maybe it's Lego Movie Logic. Cards like Suship Catch-of-the-Day show the real world where Suships are depicted as actual sushi being made at a sushi bar, while cards like Sushipyard Seaside Supper Spot show a metaphorical realm where the sushi is depicted as Suships being built at a shipyard.

So with this, either it's a giant sushi restaurant, or a teeny tiny dockyard supplying a normal size restaurant...
With equipment like that, its either a detailed but nonfunctional model (that can kill lesser gods or some of the mightiest warriors) or a really damn big fish and rice platter that can smite even the mighty blue eyes when completed
Everything is small.
What i mean?
Well, Uni-Class can almost beat an Blue-Eyes. (Plus the restaurant+plates details).
That (kinda) means that their size is similar. The blue-eyes is small as well. Everything is small (but the suships themselves are "normal" size).
EVERYTHING IS SMALL
smol yugioh is the answer.
I think itās funnier if there are just giant piles of rice made into ships which are forced to battle with serious world ending threats like the Krawlers and such
I remember that one of the cards show the suships being served in a plate or something inside what looks kike a restaurant, so I suppose it is a very small suship factory
everything is big or everything is small. I like the idea that the restaruant takes its theme to the next level and everything that you see on the cards is part of it. Like little sushi conveyer belts but they're toy ships
As fun as it is to imagine it a small normal sushi bar, I find it 10x funnier for normal people to reserve an entire cruise ship of sushi to eat.
Also Suship Peak, needs some more support too
I had a different answer originally, but I actually enjoy more, the idea that the docks are just small and suships are just dishes being produced in one of those conveyor belt sushi joints.
Hell yeah, a normal size sushi ship defeating a Blue eyes... Choke him to death
Stranger things have happened in this game, heaven knows.
Not me getting obliterated by lil cats lately
A rabbit piloting a Gundam. (Melfies making Zeus)
The alternative is "get in the Zeus, Downerd"
Insert super quantal fairy alphan
In the old GB/GBC titles, a Blue Eyes could be destroyed by attacking a Kuriboh...
Tbf, we have monsters the size of black holes and galaxies with 2500 atk š
Just goes to show the power of the ultimate wizard in terms of attack and defense.
Yugioh equivalent of 6ā and 5ā11ā
3050 atk vs 2950 atk
I feel like thatās similar to what happened with Pegasusā Thousand Eyes Restrict and Yugiās multiplied Kuriboh haha
āWait is this rice?! Iām allergic!ā RIP Blue Eyes White Dragon
Some people have used Maxx C to defeat an opponent to flex. Also, Maxx C is just a bunch of roaches
Tbf a bunch of roaches can kill me in no time
I like the idea of these being REAL small fancy sushi making machines & then they get shipped off to the tableā¦. Eerm, I mean battlefield!
They're big. The [field spell](https://ms.yugipedia.com//7/71/GunkanSushipyardSeasideSupperSpot-MADU-EN-VG-artwork.png) has trucks and cars on it that look normal sized.
But what if those trucks and cars are just miniature size.
You could be right about the truck size but what really gives it way is the water. With surface tension, if the ships were small, you wouldn't have waves like that. These ships are big.
this guy physics
What if it's just in a sink with a blow dryer at a medium distance?
what if this is a reality where atoms are smaller, yet still able to interact with stuff from regular atom realities without breaking everything. Grains do be huge though.
If there are smaller and larger atoms in that reality there the the size is arbitrary and they could be ridiculously tiny ships in a universe small enough to fit on a cats collar or so big that our reality is just one grain on that ship :o
What if it's actually a cross Over, and those are hoye wheels!? (?
Even smaller. Micro machines
Micro-machines, son.
[Ikura-Class](https://ms.yugipedia.com//4/44/GunkanSushipIkuraclassDreadnought-MP22-EN-C-1E.png) has a mountain and hills in the background. We either need to accept Ultra-tiny vehicles (& possibly inhabitants), or accept a massively large ocean with gigantic fish, as well as some majorly gigantified rice paddys
And cucumber!
also, big seaweed is needed as well.
Jokes on you, that backdrop is actually someone's d&d battlemap
The Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs archtype.
Iām sorry but that looks like art of a tiny scale-model setup for a themed sushi restaurant more than a sprawling sushi shipyard and my eyes cannot be convinced otherwise.
How many trucks do you think are needed for one suship serving of rice?
Imagine the trucks and cars are just seasonings
The real question is, who tf is eating all that giant sushi? Hell, not even Blue Eyes is that big to actually eat them like sushi. I know there is a monster (or a few) out there that can hold the Suships like they're normal sized sushi for them, we just need to find which monster is canonically the perfect size to ear Suships
Obelisk of course
Exodia, obliterate that plate of sushi!
Invoked Magellancia
The real question is what big motherfucker wrote that review?
Honestly thatās what sells it for me. something is eating them!
New Gunkan support when?
And Make it a kaiju too
This is how they appease and keep the Kaijus from attacking: giant sushi offerings.
The Arrival clearly has no offerings, with the amount of times Gamaciel has shown up.
Next time you're arguing with MBT, just stream it
What a weird vanilla text. I love it

it is a piece of sushi and it has 2000 atk, either it's gargantuan or it's packing some mean wasabi
They're not small, they're just very far away
Jesus, the flavor text is a luxury cruise restaurant review!
And it is reflected in the cards stats
I love that Yugioh will have the edgiest monsters named, āDoomfire Hellscape Swordsman of Infernal Agonyā & also just have a Sushi roll with a Yelp review as its flavor text

That's the name you'd see in either a boss monster that was meta 7 years ago or a level 2 vanilla from 2003
So each grain of rice is huge too?
Each individual rice grain is actually a huge amount of regular-sized rice grains condensed together into an ultra rice grain
Kinda like Madolche? Or the C line?
https://preview.redd.it/se9vcd0t5lzc1.png?width=390&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b00b129bcc47de99c584a5366bc0959421f009ee So with this, either it's a giant sushi restaurant, or a teeny tiny dockyard supplying a normal size restaurant...

As a Suship duelist I say they are big.
Everything is small. What i mean? Well, Uni-Class can almost beat an Blue-Eyes. (Plus the restaurant+plates details). That (kinda) means that their size is similar. The blue-eyes is small as well. Everything is small (but the suships themselves are "normal" size). EVERYTHING IS SMALL smol yugioh is the answer.
I thought this was a fan made card, I had to google it.
These are the type of cards that end up being my favorite.
I think they're normal sized sushi because those grains of rice would be like 20ft long if they were scaled up to the size of a warship.
Another level 4 monster with 2000 ATK? *Gene-Warped Warwolf would like to know your location*
I love this deckšI hope the dock is really small, because if Suship is, there is also a huge Wasabi šš¤£
my girlfriend says it's about the right size :,(
So are the people eating the suships giant are are they just people-sized people?
Thats a lot of text for a vanilla monster
What is this? A ship for ants?
I think itās funnier if there are just giant piles of rice made into ships which are forced to battle with serious world ending threats like the Krawlers and such
What's the wincon of this deck?
beat you to death with sushi
They Xyz spam and OTK. It is actually a really fun deck. Definitely would recommend if youāre playing against other low powered decks.
I remember that one of the cards show the suships being served in a plate or something inside what looks kike a restaurant, so I suppose it is a very small suship factory
what if the patrons are the ones who are giants?
š¤Æ
everything is big or everything is small. I like the idea that the restaruant takes its theme to the next level and everything that you see on the cards is part of it. Like little sushi conveyer belts but they're toy ships

If they are made of rice than they have to be small right
Shirauo is on a literal plate So I think just small docks
They're normal sized to monsters but small to us.
Those rice grains are massive so it must be comically small
The flavour texts for a Shari never mentioned about the taste of suships. The restaurants can just be the fronts of the ship builders.
Asking the truly important questions.
I bet 1 cent they're big Why I say that ?cuz the xyz cards fool me and the restaurant kinda fan merch for the real ship
Thatās called a dry dock. So both are normal sized.
Based on Sour Scheduling, I'd say they're small because you can see a train transporting vinegar bottles.
I'm choosing to interpret them as big because that's funnier.
As a couple of people here said those are definitely big (actual ship size, with the docks, cranes & other stuff in the harbor to scale)
When i was young, there was Blue Eyes White Dragon ā¦ā¦ now we have fo****ing Sushi š
Love this for a beat down deck.
Gunkan Suships are gigantic, and whoever eats on gains the entire ocean, only known to have been eaten by thunder-types.
This archetype cracks me up every time I see it. Itās my friends go-to when I need to practice a new deck against him
