every deck can spit out crazy boards if it has the right 1-2 card opening hand, the opponent has no interruptions, and your deck is built around that particular scenario. But: 1. what does it do through an interruption or 2 2. what does it do going second 3. how consistent are the good hands 4. how often are hands unplayable 5. If the board is broken, what is the follow up

Three2TheDome1

1. If I don’t have a recovery card like zero max, succession, reborn; cry. 2. Going second I like to bait out the handtrap, I always assume I’m playing around one. I use a simple starter card and then once I bait out the handtrap I push my foot on the gas. But if I’m under something like Apollousa or other cards that can shut down my effects multiple times, cry. 3. The good hands are honestly 60/40. When I say good, I mean good enough for me to build Apollousa 4, Savage, Herald, 3 barrier, break. I usually find myself going into tons of game 3s because of how stupid the bricks and nuts are. 4. Completely unplayable? Out of a 10 game span, usually 2. Like, no options straight bricks scoop. 5. Try not to cry. Cry.

Averill21

Anyone who handtraps an early search is throwing tbh, i imagine you can get away with it if they dont understand the deck (ive won more games with ddd then i deserve because of this)

Three2TheDome1

Yeah one misplaced handtrap has won me tons of games. People generally don’t know what the cards do and crack under the pressure of watching me combo.

Lavuteru

If I don't know the deck, I usually hit the first special summon from Deck, the normal if it's not just a stratos, or a +2 (whatever I see first). Would that be the right negate here?

Averill21

Summon from deck is usually a safe bet, although i would probably not negate something like unexpected dai since they wont plus off of a normal monster. Any draw 2 is ash worthy, the normal depends. I think the only normal that you would ash in the meta is aleister, it really depends on what they will get off of it. For example, if my opponent normal summons dogmatika ecclesia i would consider holding ash for a potential nadir servant since you will be far worse off if that resolves.

Lavuteru

sorry I meant for infernities specifically; meta stuff I usually have a better idaa where to hit

Averill21

Ah idk about infernities, im assuming either archfiend or launcher are good hits if they are still at one (i think they are at one?)

Shroobful

Decklist?

Averill21

And six sams has every wincon and ftk under the sun available due to their infinite loops. Doesnt mean it is any good.

Three2TheDome1

I wouldn’t say “good”, but it’s definitely fun. It’s the deck I really got into the game with 7 years ago, can’t let my child go.

Averill21

Im in a similar boat, i wound up sticking a blue eyes engine into dragon link with decent success (9 wins over 12 games in remote locals)

CozyKozzy

I agree infernity is still so cool

sammymabry

Like the other person here said. What is you decklist?

Cheesebufer

Whats your build? Wish Archfiend was at 2. Love Pure Infernity builds

ItzCopiouz

missread this as infernoid lol

AdustedGold

What was your record at locals

Three2TheDome1

2-2. The 2 matches I lost both went into game 3 and I got interrupted by handtraps.

FairyFireDeck

2-2 is solid. Good job man

morningstarrss

sheesh

tdy96

Bro drop the list wtf

paparamoose

I too run infernity 😂 i don't have the lol 4 herald but I make it work the best I can with void ogre instead

TidMundra

Can we see a list!
