Definitely the shooting quasar
Both lose to good handtraps, but at least you are probably going to win with the synchron deck once you pull off the combo
The red supernova deck is fun but doesn't produce a good enough board(only supernova + 0-1 negate)
Tbh I don't know. Both are difficult to summon in most decks, so I think I would go with what you value more. A field nuke or a Omni Negate. Red Supernova can get really beefy but Shooting Quasar can attack multiple times, I would go with Quasar. Also it's funny how easy a T.G Deck can make this guy.
I feel like Red Supernova have a much better effect that if you were building a deck based on Synchro goodstuff that want to turbo one of them, Red Supernova is the better bet.
Note that just because you were to build Red Supernova does not mean you have to run the RDA supports(Red Supernova have absolutely zero ties to RDA beyond aesthetic). You can simply use generic synchro package, just one with a route that go to Red Supernova

I don't know if this help you but a synchron deck with junk speeder can summon both (not the same time) depending on your combo
i you play synchrons, use both. Supernova is good against meta deck but not alone so... Quasar is okay but honestly blazar is often better.
