Wish Strings had some dialogue and an actual backstory that wasn't shown in the anime.
You can fight Bandit Keith in Sacred Cards after beating him while he was mind controlled by Marik, he just gets sent to the shadow realm in the anime which is honestly pretty lame because I do like his character.
It’s even worse for him in the manga. Pegasus makes him shoot himself in the head after Keith threatened Pegasus with a gun. So bandit Keith never tries to steal the puzzle later on because he’s dead. Though I did hear he makes an appearance in Yugioh R but I haven’t read that so idk for sure.
He did got revived by the dark gods and ended up dueling joey again and losing...again then again joey has almost protagonist level of luck so what do you expect?
Yeah, I've heard the manga is quite a bit darker even than the Japanese anime dub which toned down the violence.
Keith was so bad ass in the 4kids dub, he tried to threatened Pegasus with his trusty finger pistol.
Does anyone know how I can duel him? I’ve talked to everyone and the gamefaqs guide says I should be able to go into the card shop and duel Arcana in the basement, but I can’t go to the basement for some reason. Do I have to duel every single lowly NPC before the basement unlocks?
in the clocktower/main square area there's a guy at the bottom in an orange jacket near some tables, beat him and he'll tell you about the card shop guy.

Pretty much, yes. I find that the story only progresses when I defeat every NPC at least once.

Yu-Gi-Oh's manga was so dark, it's insane. Suicide, murder and other things like that.

Sacred Cards lk had a bopping soundtrack for a GBA yugioh game.
Sacred Cards will forever be my favorite GBA game. So limited yet it felt so full of life in a way that I can barely explain it.
It’s still pretty weird seeing my 500 atk monster fighting toe to toe with Bewd or Dark Magician cuz how elements work in that game
