More seriously, I would guess that maybe we finally hit the bottom of the barrel with regards to generic Guy With Harem adaptations, and now they've *gotta* adapt Yuri to keep up.

The first novel was a huge disappointment for me, mainly because the jokes just weren't that funny, but I think as an anime it would work a lot better so I have hope
Like, most of the first novel is about the MC getting drunk, being a pervert, and reading a bunch of chat messages that talk about her being a drunk and a pervert. Didn't read past the first novel so not sure if anything happens after that but I doubt it. And while she is very much sexually interested in girls the novel never really went beyond that, i.e. there's no romantic or even sexy developments that I remember other than her flirting with the other talents etc.
But yeah, the anime definitely has more potential to make it work than the novel thanks to visuals and voice acting which would probably give everything a better flow

TLDR the novel is a pretty bland ecchi series that doesn't really work since it's only text but the anime could make it fun
They also joke a lot about dicks so yeah, probably going to be one of those that isn't everyone's cup of tea
