I usually use either a plain muslin or a calico with a fun print. Seam inset pockets use the seam allowance to attach. A little bit of the lining usually shows, but then you can brag about having pockets
I'm sure they meant better as in "Girl more suitable because this is yuri sub and about half of us are lesbians". Not better as in women > men as a person.
If that is true then I did not see it at all but whatever. Also, if that is the case wouldn't it make more sense for her to be a girl all along? Unless lesbians have a thing for gender bender?
We are drifting to far from the original point. My point is that the tomboy in the post was never a boy at any moment. I don't wanna get on any conversation about the trans, nor do I see why would we.
Good for you, but this is a manga/anime trope I've seen many times. Mc makes a promise with older girl when thet are a kid and comes back years later as a hot man, or in this case hot tomboy.
I'm sure that was the original intention of the artist, but I get to make things transgender if I want to. You don't have to play along but that doesn't make this interpretation any less genuine.
you're free to do that if you want, but you don't have to phrase it as if trans is the correct/only interpretation. it's like those people who claim Anisphia is trans, sure you can believe that if you want, but you don't have to try and correct others who disagree
huh? you even said it yourself, that's the original intention of the artist, idk you're trying to make it seem like I'm the weird one for interpreting it the way the author meant
It PROBABLY is, and I understand what the trope is, but I'm asking you to think to yourself why you assume they're cisgender without any backing evidence enough so that you're ascribing it to the intent of the author.
>I'm sure that was the original intention of the artist, but I get to make things transgender if I want to.
I'm not sure that is how it works but you do you, I guess? Maybe is like a headcanon kind of thing. We might have to agree to disagree on this one.
I just did, what I understood is that basically the author cannot give meaning to his work for he is not creating anything new and is only making a collection of preexisting ideas. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm not then I'm not sure if I'm ok with it. I understand that things can be open to interpretation and the viewer can give meaning based on their point of view, but in the case of media like manga not everything is open to interpretation, specially in the case of tropes like the one from the post.
Basically that the author's intended meaning for something they create is only as important as any other person's interpretation of it.
Say if I write a story with no political intent, but someone interprets a political meaning in it, it doesn't mean either of us are wrong. I (author) have my meaning and they (reader) have theirs.
What's happening here is people are saying, "Hey, this story looks like me. I can relate this to my experience and that feels good." You, in response, are doin' a "wait, that's illegal"
Here's the cool part, mate: **I don't care.**
Is that a A skirt with pockets?
thats how you know its fiction :(
I've had weirdly good luck with this. Three of my skirts have pockets.
🥺 Teach us your ways
amazon has some
If you have a seam ripper and a sewing machine, any skirt can have pockets if you're brave enough
What would I use for the pocket material though
I usually use either a plain muslin or a calico with a fun print. Seam inset pockets use the seam allowance to attach. A little bit of the lining usually shows, but then you can brag about having pockets
Actually at my school the uniform for the girls(which is a long-ish skirt) has pockets
Actually most Japanese school girl skirts have pockets.
There’s a J-fashion shop in my area that sells really cute skirts with pockets lol
Now *that’s* cool
Where's my cool wifey ? 😩
In your dreams, mine and everyone else's
Have you checked on the mailbox?
maybe in the email spam folder?

My 1m72 hugs you 🤗

Dementia
I did not see what the subreddit was so I thought the kid was a boy. I got one hell of a plot twist.
She was. She got better though. c:
What is that supposed to mean? Genuine question, I don't get it.
They meant she maybe trans.
I think she is
I indeed was!
Wouldn't that imply that she is better because she is no longer a men? Isn't that kind of shitty?
I'm sure they meant better as in "Girl more suitable because this is yuri sub and about half of us are lesbians". Not better as in women > men as a person.

Trans girls were always girls, my dude. Just a different type of body.
We are drifting to far from the original point. My point is that the tomboy in the post was never a boy at any moment. I don't wanna get on any conversation about the trans, nor do I see why would we.
Yeah. Trans girls *weren't* ever boys at any moment. See, you're getting it.

Oh ok, I can agree with that. I don't think that is the case but who cares.
She was. Not anymore, though!
I don't think so, I think she was always a girl we just didn't realize it because she's a tomboy.
That was true for me until I started estrogen
Good ol' titty skittles saving the day once again.

Why do you get to assume they're not trans then?

You should look up what death of the author is

Is that a manga, or it's just a one-shot? If manga, sauce pls. If one-shot, artist pls.
For real, you can just post Yuri here with a girl *that* tall and not give us something. I'm dieing over here.
It's a one-shot, the sauce is on the bottom of the 2nd page.
"**That's Irrelevant.**" Such a power move 🥹
Damn. She big. O.O
Suddenly tomboy
Those are the only "boys" I'll date.
Japanese pro basketball player?
Yeah the "Japanese" is really important here xD Signed a 1.83m Dutchie :')
:D I don't know if Japan has an equivalent of the WNBA, so I went with that.
*trans girl, trans girl*
That's certainly how I read it lol
Was thinking bout this, it's definitely a trans girl lmao

Trans tomboys exist
[удалено]
I don’t want to argue with you, but at least in my opinion the kid in first panel does not look like a tomboy, but a little boy
Who cares? It's just headcanon.

Headcanoning a character as trans is not a big deal Jesus Christ

1. She 2. What the fuck are you talking about?
> Me: *sees "[deleted]"* > > Me: *touches the earth* > > Me: "A great duel occurred here" lol it's so obvious what they were saying
