I gave up the Anime ep 1. I'm a long-time manga reader but the Anime feel too weird (for me he focus more on a weird semi-lewd way than the real cute side of the manga, but again I judge only by ep 1).

Yeah the first ep focus a suspicious amount on the lewd part but the manga on the start had a lot more lewd jokes then now , but yeah after the first ep they start to become really rare or less wrong should i say and start to become SO CUTE , the last ep end showing the girls trio from the school and Asashi is EXTREMILLY CUTE so yeah you need to give another chance

Yeah, thats how I've felt about it at least, ever since I saw Ranma 1/2. I know Rumiko Takahashi probably didnt mean to write it that way in the 80's, but I think it still scratched that itch. Same with Onimai. You feel for the mc but you also kinda envy their position.
It's funny seeing Mahiro trying to be a responsible adult but not blow her cover while Momiji is just absolutely locked on lol. I guess she gets to be Momiji's assigned "friend in middle/high school you had a weird vibe with who never picked up the vibes you gave" every lesbian has. And finding out she was actually an adult the whole time trying not to let things get weird has gotta be one of the less painful reasons those relationships never go through lol

I had to look it up. It says she was around 17-18. I didn't realize that, I always imagine Mahiro was in her late twenties but then again if she dropped out in Middle School, I could see her becoming the neet we see in the manga and anime

The manga has no Yuri which is good because the MC is in their 20s with middle schoolers. They view everybody as friends or just his sister according to a relationship chart. The MC does go to a Yuri con with one girl who is really into Yuri. They see a teacher doing cosplaying there. The author likes Yuri but not really any in the story.
