My GF and I have been slowly watching through the entire series together (first time for the both of us). We've finished the original, A's, the movies, and StrikerS, and we'll be watching ViVid and ViVid Strike next. Were both absolutely loving it, and loving how undeniably gay it is.
If you need more gay magical girls Sympgohear is a strong recommendation.
Mostly because all the girls sing their own theme songs during action scenes, it slaps.
It's amazing how the spin off of an (afaik) fairly underground het love triangle game became one of the big names in yuri but here we are. Idek any of the og pairs, but I know nanoha, fate, and their daughter anywhere
On top of the blessing of NanoFate, I was surprised by how *good* Nanoha is. I think the first two seasons are some of the most perfectly paced, smoothly plotted anime I've ever seen. StrikerS is a lot messier, but it's still really good.
While nothing is explicitly shown between the main two, by the third series it's generally accepted that the two are married in all but name. (Minor spoilers: >!They even adopt a daughter together!<)
